Jojo Moyes does it again. We All Live Here is a great family story. There are parallel stories: mother and daughter are both going through some stuff. The characters are interesting and likeable, even Marje. The story is engaging, heartbreaking, and redemptive. The ending is satisfying. If you're a fan of Moyes or realistic fiction or stories that tug on the heartstrings, don't miss We All Live Here.

I have loved all of Jojo Moyes' books but this one just didn't do it for me. I didn't feel emotionally connected to any of the characters and the constant switching of viewpoints felt distracting rather than helpful. Looking back, I think that if the absentee father had been introduced in the first 5-10 pages, I would have been more intrigued with the family dynamics and not been so bored. As it was, the beginning of the story dragged on and on with how miserable Lila and her oldest daughter were.
Thanks to Netgalley, the author, and publisher, for an advanced reading copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Another good book by Jojo Moyes. We All Live Here is an honest look at the messiness of life but at the good that is present as well. Relatable characters who are flawed but you like them even more for it as they realize their imperfections and work through them. I loved Gene, despite his past, as he works so hard to make up for it. It isn't a fast paced action packed book but it is full of love, forgiveness and hope.

Not as good as some of her other books. A story about familes. Didn't care for a few of the characters. ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for a fair review.

Another hit from one of my favorite authors! Relatable and heart warming. By the end of the book I felt so connected to the characters I didn't want it to end!

Many thanks to net galley and Penguin for providing me with an arc in exchange for an honest review. Jojo Moyes is quite the story teller! You will definitely take Lila and her quirky family into your heart. Lila is an author struggling with her next project following the death of her mother. She must juggle her 2 children, her ex, her stepfather as well as her own father recently returning to her life. The relationships are strained at times yet they capture real life problems and situations in such an endearing way.
Lila is also trying to balance personal relationships in this rollercoaster ride of her life. These characters have found a place in my heart as I am sure they will with you. A must read especially for those of the sandwich generation!

Jojo Moyes never disappoints and her latest is one of my favorites! I loved this heartfelt story with characters and emotions that felt so real. She did an amazing job depicting the challenges that come with fractured family and the emotions each person must go through. Highly recommend!!

Jojo Moys has had my heart for years, the writing is always so beautiful a "We All Live Here" is no exception, it's quirky, wholesome and so heartfelt. These characters are *chef's kiss*

Jojo Moyes is a great story teller of every day life. she is relatable although some of the stories are a little tough to believe but despite that, you read her books and can imagine the screenplay and who will play each of the characters. This book was a bit long but I still enjoyed it and look forward to her next book. Thans for the opportunity to read.

I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Lila and her unconventional messy family (apart from the times I was stressed out by the chaos of her life). 4.5 stars rounded up.

So many people are from divorced families, have been divorced, or know someone close to them who has been through a divorce, and WE ALL LIVE HERE will be relatable to so many people. This was such a true representation of divorced families, and it brought back so many feels. The romance and humor throughout the book made me love this book even more. I loved all the characters, and I never wanted it to end!
Lila Kennedy has a lot going on at the moment: her husband left her for a younger woman and they are now expecting, she is trying to raise two girls that have their own problems, she is late on writing her next book, her house needs major fixes, her mom recently died, her step-dad basically moved in, and to top it off her estranged dad just randomly shows up at her door. What she needs is a night out and possibly a good lay 🤣! This book is filled with heartbreak, love, forgiveness, family, humor, and so much more! Pre-order and add this one to your TBR. It's such a heartfelt story that you definitely need to read!

I'm normally a fan of JoJo Moyes book. This felt wordy, piecey and not fully thought out. It took me forever to connect the pieces of who was who, no introductions. By the time that I made it about half way, I was ready to throw in the towel. Stuck it out and liked the last half better.

A great example of how family and blended families can all exist and n happiness even if sometimes it gets a little quirky. Heartfelt and fun. I snort laughed quite a few times. I’m always enamored by how JM can weave a story. Many thanks to the publisher and netgalley for this copy for read and review

We All Live Here by Jojo Moyes is a beautiful novel that captures the complexity of family dynamics written with her signature depth and warmth. Lila Kennedy's life is in disarray. Her marriage has collapsed, her daughters are spiraling out of control, and her career is slipping away. Add to that a crumbling house and a stepfather quietly taking residence, and Lila is at her breaking point. When her estranged father suddenly reappears, it feels like one burden too many. Lila is a deep and relatable character, struggling under the weight of her obligations and trying to hold everything together. This novel is an exploration of fractured relationships and the possibility of healing, even when forgiveness seems impossible.

This was my first by JoJo Moyes and I’ve heard nothing but great things about her work. I really liked this one, it had great humor, realistic characters and a great plot that made me read this in less than a day.

Another great read. Multigenerational love and support, blended families and learning to love again. This book has it all. So glad to preview it for Netgalley.

JoJo Moyes has a way of building up characters so they feel so real with humor and tenderness. I enjoyed the book and recommend it.

What can I say about Jojo Moyes that hasn’t already been said. This woman is a preorder hardcover, kindle version and audio book every time because hello… is Jono Moyes. This book did NOT disappoint and just the way that Jojo brings you in and keeps you there as long as possible while you absolutely ignore everything in your life.. can not be replicated.
