When I first got this, I was super excited about the book. But unfortunately, I'm no longer interested in reading it at this point and I don't want to hold onto it any longer.

I am sorry for the inconvenience but I wasn't able to download this before it archived. Sadly I won't be able to review.

It's an okay-ish book for me. I had some dull moments while reading this book though. But I could say the story is good

Absolutely amazing start of the series. I read the whole Stupid in love series and I find this story the best.

Almost two years ago I requested ‘Stupid Girl’ on Netgalley. I got approved for a review request but wasn’t able to start reading immediately because I already had a lot of books to read. And like most bloggers would probably recognize, my ‘to-read’ list just got bigger and bigger and I lost track of ‘Stupid Girl’. But lately I’ve been trying to get control of my TBR list and so I finally started reading ‘Stupid Girl’.

When I first started ‘Stupid Girl’ I didn’t really know what to think of this book. We meet Olivia Beaumont when she arrives on her first day in college. Olivia is determined to get through college focused on her studies and without any distractions. Especially no distractions from guys. We also meet Brax Jenkins. Brax is cocky, a total player and covered with tattoos. Well, I like tattoos.. I have two of my own but I really had some trouble connecting with Brax in the beginning. The way the author described him, just didn’t really get into my head easily.

But I kept on reading, and slowly I began to like Brax more and more. Olivia on the other hand was a character I liked immediately. She was strong, determined and a total geek. And I loved reading about her. And when I was half way through this book I was hooked and loved it. And the best thing about Olivia was definitely the way she stayed true to herself. She was geeky, and didn’t hide it for anyone. I loved that!

The chemistry between Olivia and Brax started out feeling a little off, because I just didn’t ‘get’ Brax at first, but soon I could definitely start feeling the chemistry coming of those pages. They were two completely different people, and it was fun to see how they got to know each other better and better. From the beginning on I definitely had a feeling about where this book would go, and it did go that way. But this didn’t bother me at all. I enjoyed getting to know Olivia and Brax and following their journey.

‘Stupid Girl’ definitely made me think of ‘She’s All That’, one of my favorite movies. And it was just really a fun read I’m happy to have finally read it!
