It was a little difficult to get through this book, I kept setting it down. Once I got to about 40% it started to click though. Their chemistry was fun and the relationship building was good. It was a satisfying read.

I enjoyed Cassie and Trey’s story, but it just felt like it was lacking that wow factor. Trey and Cassie met and their connection was undeniable. I did appreciate that the author focused mostly on their budding relationship. It wasn’t until we make it through a large portion of the book that they find out the truth about each other. The ending was sweet, but it definitely left me craving just a tiny bit more. Hopefully we get to catch up with them throughout the series.
