I listened to the audio version of this book, and I absolutely loved it. I devoured it in one day. The author did such an amazing job that I was hooked from the beginning. I can't wait to read more from this author. I highly recommend this novel to other readers.
Thank you Net Galley, Sourcebooks Casablanca, and Catherine Cowles

This is my first Catherine book & it won’t be my last!
I loved the suspense, the twists, the turns, and the love story that blossomed. Colt the MMC is so grumpy and I love a grumpy MMC. Ridley was sassy, bold & didn’t take shit from anyone which I loved so much.
I thought the entire story was really good & I kept wanting to keep reading! I love true crime podcasts & Ridley is a host of one.. I loved her story & her why!
I really hoping we can go back to this town for a book 2?! If not I’m going to start another one of her series stat!

Catherine Cowles truly knows how to write a steamy contemporary romantic suspense. All the Missing Pieces was a lovely meet cute that truly made me smile. I guessed the bad guy, but honestly, with a CC book, that is HARD.

Thanks to the publisher for giving me an ARC copy of this book. This is my new favorite Catherine Cowles book. I love how the FMC was so funny and interesting. The romance was great and I loved the suspense element of this book. I was actually surprised at the reveal in the book and it was interesting reading about them putting clues together.

To say that I loved this book is an understatement. All the Missing Pieces drew me in from page one and I didn’t set it down a single time because I had to know what was coming next. The enemies-to-lovers vibes between the small-town sheriff and the true crime podcaster set the scene for a delicious slow burn and I was shaking with anticipation while waiting for them to finally cross that line. The wait was more than worth it and the mouth on Colt was ✨perfection✨.
Has Catherine said this is a standalone? Yes.
Am I still holding out hope for Emerson’s story. Also yes.
I need more and I have my fingers crossed that one day we’ll get more from Shady Cove 🙏🏼

What can I say, other than this is another Catherine classic. this is for my girls who love true crime podcasts & murder mysteries, but it’s always with a magic touch of romance.
The story follows Ridley, obsessed with solving crimes by involving herself and connecting with the community vía podcasts, and Colt, the Shady Cove hot cop, who is very against what Ridley is doing.
What to expect:
🐈⬛ romantic suspense
🩷enemies with benefits
🐈⬛murder mystery
🩷 grumpy MMC
🐈⬛hurt/comfort
🩷emotional rollercoaster
Catherine gets me every time! I swear I always think I can guess the culprit and I NEVER DO! 👁️👄👁️

4.5⭐️ rounded up!! This may just be my favorite CC book to date!!
If you’ve read one of Catherine’s books before, you know she is the queen of romantic suspense. She has quickly become one of my favorite authors with how she perfectly blends together a romance story with an underlying mystery (that I can never figure out!!) Her newest book was a little more heavy on the mystery portion which I LOVED but also really enjoyed the unique podcast plot! As always, it kept me swooning and guessing until the very end.
If you haven’t read one of Catherine’s books before, this would be a great one to start with. Can’t recommend it enough — and the audio is fantastic for my fellow audiobook lovers!

Catherine Cowles never misses! Her ability to weave romance and suspense together is top notch! I loved these characters and the storyline!

I absolutely loved this book!!! After reading it I actually became I fan of true crime podcasts!!! The characters were amazing and the plot of the book was one I have not read before!!! I wanted more and had problems putting it down!

Leave it to Catherine to do a story where the heroine is a true crime Podcaster! If you know me, you know I absolutely love listening to true crime podcasts so this truly was a must! Catherine is the queen of romantic suspense!!!
This enemies to lovers was everything I love in a romance book. Ridley and Colt had me on the edge of my seat, I truly went into this book with a normal heartbeat, and ended the book with an accelerated heartbeat haha I just can’t explain how perfect these two were!
Colt is a hero who you just can’t fall in love with from the very beginning. He is absolutely everything!! If you haven’t gotten your copy yet, do it ASAP!!!! You need this year in your life right now!!!

This was my first Catherine Cowles book and I must say....I loved it and now a fan. I have always enjoyed romantic suspense and this did not disappoint! It has heartfelt moments along with moments that were funny....like Tater and her "tooth hugs". It was easy to read and had great pacing for a romantic suspense. I was never bored and truthfully, I could not put it down. I really loved the characters both main and side. Catherine brought the little small town of Shady Cove to life by having the side characters be heavily involved with the story and progression. Ridley was so relatable to the victims which brought her a more complex dynamic to the story while Colt was the protective moody brother to a victim causing the two characters to collide. I ABOSOLUTELY loved Colt's nickname for Ridley....Chaos....melting...into....a....puddle.
Everyone told me that it is hard to guess the villain in Catherine Cowles books but I did guess this one and being my first was a little shocking. I could see where she sets the story up to really be anyone and keep you guessing throughout the entire story up until the reveal. I do want to dive into some of her other series though as I really enjoyed her writing style and story telling.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone!

Ridley's twin sister disappeared. Now as Ridley is traveling the country to cover cold cases for her true crime podcast, she gets blocked by Sheriff Colter Brooks. This book was AMAZING! Highly recommend!

This book was fantastic. I can not say enough how much I enjoyed this story. I always love a romantic suspense but this story went above and beyond.
Ridley the podcaster and Colter the sheriff. I’m telling you this story would make the perfect TV show. I absolutely love these two and their chemistry was off the charts.
With the chemistry and romance is also a serial killer in the loose. Catherine seriously makes you doubt everyone and will keep you guessing until the end.
I was sucked in from the beginning and was so happy I also had the audio so I could listen while doing everything I had to do since I didn’t want to put it down.

This book was SOOOO good I could not put it down. Read it in 2 days (had to break to sleep haha)
Loved the romance, the suspense and all of the characters. Really hoping CC writes more romance/suspense in the future I will 100% read!

I’m an emotional wreck. This book wrecked me in the best ways. I laughed, gasped, cried, and then cried happy tears.
Ridley is a truce crime podcaster and a girl after my own heart. She is on a mission to bring justice to many cases including her sisters who disappeared years ago without a trace. Enter our grumpy sheriff Colter who is on a mission to protect his sister and town from any trouble Ridley may dig up.
I did not expect all the twists, turns, trauma, and happy moments in this book. My goodness it was perfection.
Tropes:
- grumpy x sunshine
- sheriff hero
- “who did this to you?”
- forced proximity
- hate to love
- suspense romance
- small town

If you love true crime, this one's for you! This one was so good! Loved the audio so much I listened to it twice, right after I finished it! 🤣 Narration by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York was very well done. I love the introduction to this new town, Shady Cove, the new characters, and all the suspense and love that Catherine brings with her books! As always, this one had me guessing! And I was totally wrong 🤣

I love this author and what she does with romantic suspense. This was such a great read. I loved the characters. I was immediately sucked in & finished it quickly because I couldn’t put it down! Read if you like: true crime podcaster FMC, sheriff MMC, small towns, forced proximity, open door romance, and dual POVs.
Bonus- the audio was wonderful! Andi Arndt & Sebastian York did a great job!

Catherine Cowles is a pure genius.
When Ridley Sawyer, a podcaster stumbles upon the broody sheriff, Colter Brooks on the sidewalk in a quant little town, she never expected how her life would change.
Ridley is in search of the missing pieces to help solve the disappearances of multiple women, her sister being one of them. Ridley believes she's found a link and wants to speak to a woman who she believes was one of his first victims. However, the town is very protective of her and will do whatever it takes to keep her safe and out of harm's way, including her brother.
When Ridley's heart hurt, so did mine. I loved how Ridley uses her pain to help heal others. As the story unfolds Ridley finds herself in trouble as it appears she is getting is discovering new details that may have been overlooked during the initial investigation.
With the Sheriff hot on her trail, he seems to have developed quite an interest in the podcaster. Colter has a grumpy demeanor and Ridley is the complete opposite. Despite what Ridley has been through in life, she still has a beautiful outlook.
I laughed out loud about Ridley's best friend, Tater, the three-legged feline. Ridley's love for her cat was absolutely adorable and fit into the storyline perfectly when we needed lighter moments within the storyline.
Catherine Cowles completely blew me away once again with her words. All the Missing Pieces will take you on an emotional rollercoaster with its suspenseful plot twist and the romance brewing with Ridley and Colt.

A thrillmantcy? This certainly clicked all the suspense boxes for me. I could see where this was going, but then the curve balls left me hanging. The romance was fun and not unexpected and the banter between the two love interests was amusing at times. I wish this would be a series, I could see many more unsolved cases with these characters! I loved the podcast aspect of it and would recommend this book for thriller readers who like a bit of spice.

Ultimately this was not for me, but it will definitely have an audience at my library. I loved the idea of a murder podcast hosting heroine, but Ridley was a little too not-like-other girls and as soon as they whipped out the "Law Man" and "Chaos" nicknames, I knew the cringe factor would be a little too high for me.
