I was super excited about this book because I highly enjoyed the other books in the series. This book is not my favorite in the series. I personally struggled to get into it. It started very fast but started to slow down. I enjoyed the stubbornness of the characters but it might have gotten in the way. The twist at the end was not expected and I enjoyed how it was wrapped with a nice little bow.

Not a huge fan of insta love and didn’t love this book. Maybe because I didn’t read the first two in the series. Decent chemistry but that’s about it and doesn’t make up for how annoying the characters could be with the lack of deeper connections, etc.

Super exciting to see these two get center stage. Yet another instalove, fun and flirty read by Tessa Bailey. I think there’s too much emphasis placed on the characters being step siblings. They meet as adults not as children raised in the same household. You can’t help but fall in love with the two of them together and the sacrifices made for one another. My favorite of the trio is book one but this is a solid story with likable characters and the perfect amount of lust.

Thank you to the publisher, Net Galley, and the author for the advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

I was so excited to receive this book! After reading the last in the series I couldn’t wait for Sig and Chloe’s story. And honestly it was so worth the wait! They are so perfect for each other. I thoroughly enjoyed the book!

This is it. Tessa’s best book yet. I SOBBED. The YEARNING, you guys! Sig is the ABSOLUTE UNCONTESTED KING of pining. It’s been a minute since I’ve read a book that got into my feels that hard. Chloe’s personal growth beyond the spoiled chaos queen is so wonderful to see and I loved every minute of it.

Gonna end up coming back to this one, I swear.

I have mixed feelings on this one. I enjoyed their relationship, the chemistry was off the charts. The hockey part was great and I loved the side characters. But the big problem in the book was that their parents were to be married, which would make them “step siblings” and therefore forbidden to be together? They met in their 20s and weren’t raised together? I’m not seeing the world ending issue it’s portrayed as. And the ending was fairly predictable. But the banter was good, and the way they cared for each other was sweet. Probably a 3.5/4 for me on this one.

I love Tessa’s books. This was another great one and probably one of my top 3 from her so far.

I wasn’t sure how the almost taboo relationship was going to pan out, but it really worked! I was worried at first that it would give me “the ick” but it didn’t. It was a great tool for building the tension between them.

I have read the other two books in this series so was already a little familiar with the characters. You could certainly read this book without having read the others and you would be fine.

The way Sig lives Chloe unconditionally and so fiercely melts my heart. I have never read a man so absolutely obsessed with the girl he loves more than Sig. in just a short time he would without a doubt take a bullet for her. Their circumstances were less than ideal, but loved each other regardless. They fought for one another and made it work and kept their promises. I absolutely loved their relationship. It has inspired me to love as fiercely as they do.

Thank you to NetGalley, Tessa Bailey, Avon, and Harper Voyage! I’m incredibly honored to have read an advanced copy of this book.

This is book 3 in the Big Shots series and I certainly hope it is not the last!!!

“When professional hockey player Sig Gauthier's car breaks down and his phone dies, he treks into a posh private country club to call a tow truck, where he encounters the alluring Chloe Clifford, the manic pixie dream girl who captivates him immediately with her gense of adventure. Sparks fly during a moonlight kiss and the enamored pair can't wait to see each other again, but when Sig finally arrives to meet his dad's new girlfriend over dinner, Chloe is confusingly also there. Turns out the girlfriend is Chloe's mother. Oh, and they're engaged. Sig's dream girl is his future stepsister. Though the pair is now wary of being involved romantically, Chloe, a sheltered harp prodigy, yearns to escape her controlling mother. Sig promises to teach her the ins and outs of independence in Boston-but not inside his bedroom. They both know there can never be more than friendship between a famous hockey player and his high-society, soon-to-be stepsister. But keeping their relationship platonic grows harder amid the developing family drama, especially knowing they were meant for so much more...”

I loved this book! It was hilarious, spicy, and heartwarming! Sig is the epitome of a man written by a woman and he is truly the best book boyfriend! While insta-love isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, you are truly rooting for Sig and Chloe beginning to end! I have so many kindle highlights from this one!!! I can only hope we are graced with a book four and five!!

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

This 3rd book of the series was another fun sports romance story with even more angst and tension than the last two books. I wish we would have gotten more of the early stages of their relationship because the over the top possessiveness felt too much at times. It wasn’t my favorite of the series but still worth the read!

Wow, this book was so incredibly fun from start to finish! Sig and Chloe’s chemistry was absolutely off the charts from their very first meeting! I love how Sig supported Chloe working towards gaining more independence from her mother and chasing her dreams of moving to Boston to further her harp training! The book is full of so much longing and angst. It definitely feels like more of slow burn even though they gain feelings for each other super fast! Sig’s dedication to Chloe was also so beautiful! Like any Tessa Bailey book, she definitely delivers on the steamy moments (like wow) while also having a story with so much heart! The hockey aspects were so fun and I adored how Chloe had her bright pink jersey! While this book is the third in the Big Shot series, it can definitely be read as a standalone! I definitely recommend checking out this book when it comes out next year!

Tropes:
♥️hockey romance
♥️insta love
♥️forced proximity
♥️forbidden love

Thank you so much to @ for sending me an ARC!

Tessa Bailey delivers again with this sizzling, heartfelt romance! Sig and Chloe’s chemistry is off the charts, and their slow-burn journey keeps you hooked. Sig is the perfect mix of protective and swoon-worthy, while Chloe’s growth into a strong, empowered character is so satisfying. The forbidden romance trope is handled with modern flair, though the step-sibling drama felt a bit overdone at times. Still, Bailey’s witty writing, steamy moments, and emotional depth make this a must-read for fans of contemporary romance. A 5-star gem!

Tessa Bailey is one of my favorite authors and I was so excited when I got picked to read this book. This is def my favorite of the Big Shots series 🙌🏻

✨ 4.5/5 ✨

Tropes:
insta-love
hockey/harpist romance
future step-siblings/taboo adjacent
sheltered FMC
overprotective MMC

Sig and Chloe have an immediate connection when they first meet at a country club. Their next encounter is meeting one another's future step-parent! Sig is every woman's dream boat and I love a good hockey romance. Both characters had a lot of room for growth, and their romance is pretty dramatic but they had such great chemistry and seeing it explode after their mutual pining was chefs kiss.

I loved It Happened One Summer, it was stupid(ly smutty) and as a result such a funny read. Unfortunately, this book did not live up to my expectations. I read this when East of Eden was too serious, but it was kind of boring….a) the main characters think they’re related but also so horny so it’s so much sexual tension but nothing really happens? b) I knew from the beginning that clearly they can’t be related and most likely Sig’s father isn’t actually his father, so the whole third act conflict (honestly the novel’s entire conflict) was just like ugh. I will say there’s no stupid drama between the love interests other than them thinking they’ll become related (but not by blood!) which I always appreciate; they are in love and thats that.

Tessa Bailey is my favorite author for a reason! She makes you feel the characters emotions and love through the pages. Another masterpiece!!

First off I want to thank you for the opportunity to read this book early. Unfortunately it was a miss for me. I’m not sure where the disconnect was but also mainly the writing in 3rd person POV. I have read Tessa’s books before but it had been a couple of years. I just could not focus on the story or the characters.

Thank you NetGalley for picking me to read this book

Tessa Bailey is one of my favorite authors and I was so excited when I got picked to read this book. I absolutely loved the characters. The story was written very well and you didn’t have to wait for the spicy 🌶️ scenes to start either. I couldn’t out this book down and finished it within a few days.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the arc of this book. Dream Girl Drama is book three in the Big Shots series. I loved book one and two in this series. I was curious about Sig while reading the first two books and was hopeful that Sig would get his story told. Dream Girl Drama is Sig and Chloe's story. This book is a hockey romance but has some mystery and suspense. This book has an amazing story and some spice. I enjoyed this book but Sir Savage's book is still my favorite in this series.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via NetGalley.
This series has reminded me the most of TB’s It Happened One Summer series and characters which I loved!
I definitely was kept on my toes throughout the book on how the two main characters’ problem would be solved and loved how everything came together at the end. Intrigued where this series is headed with new characters introduced in this book!
I also loved how characters from previous books were included more in this book - I felt like that was the main thing missing in the second book of this series. Overall, enjoyed this book!

Thank you to NetGalley and HarperCollins for my ARC in exchange for my honest review. 4.5/5!!!!!!!

First off, I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited for an ARC because I have recently become a huge fan of Tessa Bailey and her Big Shots series, and definitely did not want to wait for February for book #3! I devoured this in one day.

This is my favorite of the Big Shots series by Tessa Bailey! Dream Girl Drama gave everything it was supposed to give and more! I remember Sig and Chloe from The Au Pair Affair and wanted to know more about their relationship and it is better than anything I could’ve imagined! I mean talk about DRAMA!!! Imagine meeting the most perfect person only to find out your parents are getting married?!?

Both Sig and Chloe experience growth as individuals and also as a non-couple; they grow as best friends and cheerleaders of the other’s dreams and goals! I loved Chloe’s own personal journey to find independence for the first time and to step into her own.

You will spend the entire book hoping that Sig and Chloe will somehow find a way together. I also loved the end with a twist I definitely did not see coming :) Oh also getting to spend some time catching up with Burgess and Tallulah was fun, too!

If you love: hockey romance, forbidden love, insta love, spicy, dirty talk, meet cute, future stepsiblings, family drama, friends to lovers
