Quite possibly my favorite of the three. Tessa Bailey knows her sweet spot is writing over protective/borderline red flag men and this is no exception. Sig and Chloe have insta lust, only to discover they're about to become step-siblings. He convinces her to follow her dreams to Boston and keeps a very watchful and not at all brotherly protective eye over her. But what I like is that he asks her opinion and he listens to her and he gives her room to follow her dreams, and he believes in her. Many of these overprotective "alpha" males don't actually listen and just do what they think is best, and he does do some of that but more often he respects her wants and wishes. Might be my favorite of the trio!

I received an ARC of #DreamGirlDrama from #NetGalley. This post does not contain spoilers.
Sig and Chloe meet cute at a country club and like Cinderella at midnight, Chloe has to flee for dinner at her mother’s, while Sig has to go meet his father. Unbeknownst to Sig and Chloe, their parents are dating each other… the moral of this story is how far will you go to keep the love of your life?
4/5 stars.

4.5 stars!!!!
It's no secret that I'm a fan of Tessa Bailey, especially the first two books in the Big Shots series. So, when I was approved to receive an arc copy from NetGalley (thank you, NG!), I was beyond thrilled. Dream Girl Drama is the third book in this interconnected standalone series, and I honestly think this may be the best one yet. The tension and true chemistry between Sig and Chloe was enigmatic and I was invested in their relationship from the first. chapter. Not only was their meet cute wonderfully charged and sweet, but the way it stayed that way throughout the novel was top tier. I rooted for these two the whole time, and even as a reader couldn't see how they were going to make it work with their parents getting married (they met before they knew this). Sig was also so down bad it made me squeal. Definitely one of my top book boyfriends. The spice was also soooooo good, and I thought there was a perfect amount. Overall, Tessa Bailey has done it again. Since I'm fairly new to reviewing, I don't know the rules about sharing quotes from the book, but I will say that there are so many swoon worthy ones. I highly recommend that you pick it up when it comes out on February 4th next year!!

Tessa Bailey has created another amazing roller coaster rom com. Sig Gauthier was an interesting character in earlier books in this series, and the character development in this novel was a joy. Sig and Chloe's not-a-relationship had just the right amount of ups and downs with both characters doing logical and illogical things for love. Overall I didn't put the book down for six hours until I finished, and had about three separate spots of emotional tears.
I love seeing the supporting cast of characters, some who pleasant and some unpleasant. It adds a lot of depth and realism to the books when the side characters are so diverse in their reactions to the main events.
I also love seeing the hints at potential future relationships to be explored (fingers crossed!) in the next installment in this series.

Dream Girl Drama was so good. The chemistry was off the charts between Sig and Chloe and the spice was perfect!
Super fun book & quick read!

Wow. I absolutely FLEW through this book. After finishing The Au Pair Affair, I was DYING to hear Sig and Chloe’s story! They are in such a sticky situation from the onset- from their meet-cute and instant chemistry to their happy bubble being popped after realizing their parents are getting married. When you think of a worst case scenario situation with dating, this is a whole new level of terrifying!
These characters have spectacularly good chemistry, as always in Tessa Bailey’s books. It was a book full of tension in the absolute best way. I was screaming at them to kiss from the very beginning. It was an amazing time watching them go from the waiting and wanting to finally, FINALLY acting on it.
Dream Girl Drama was an absolute five star read. I read it in one sitting and loved every second. It was such a treat to get to read it early and to get to know those characters more. I’m so hype for everyone else to read this book when it drops in February!
Thank you to HarperColllins and Avon for the opportunity to read and review this book! I received a free advance copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Thank you Tessa Bailey and NetGalley for the eARC.
Tessa, you have done it again. Favorite book in the Big Shots series so far. I read this in less than 24 hours.

After reading book two in the Big Shots series, I couldn't wait for Sig and Chloe. I knew Sig would not disappoint and his character made the book for me. I love how Sig supported Chloe throughout the book, to a fault. Sig is 100% a man written by a woman.
I was not the biggest fan of the relationship between Sig/Chloe and their parents, which is why I did not give the book 5 stars.
Overall, great read. 4/5 stars.

To be honest, I usually read everything Tessa publishes. However, lately, her books have not been doing it for me. I felt that they had been lacking some depth and I yearned for some of her former glory. So, I was shocked when I started reading "Dream Girl Drama" (albeit with low expectations) and realized that what I felt was missing in her latest releases was there. I loved the main characters and felt that they belonged together. Tessa not only wrote compelling characters with interesting storylines but she also managed to maintain that spark, spiciness and sass that characterizes all of her books. I will definitely recommend this book to people, and keep reading everything Tessa publishes. Her freshness is unique and extremely fun,

The agony...the SLOW BURN. It made me feel like I was about to burst into tears any minute that they weren't together! Which I found refreshing for a TB book! Typically we get more than just a kiss before they are deep in love, but I enjoyed that they had to wait so long. Listen-in real life if someone was as possessive as Sig, I would be pissed-but in a fictional character, sure. I'll allow it. I'm also glad Chloe wasn't a dumb blonde just for the sake of being a dumb blonde. She is obviously educated, but sheltered because of her privilege and that made her more likeable to me.
Also, can we get Grace's full story? It sounds great. Speaking of future stories-I want both Orgasm Donor Boys(TM) stories, stat. Looks like we are getting one for sure, but I would like both please. With the GM's daughter perhaps?!
The only thing that knocked this down to 4 stars for me was the kid bit. Can we PLEASE have one couple occasionally that doesn't have a HEA that includes kids? It feels dated honestly. So many people are not having kids, and I would like that reflected in more romance novels. It gave me the ick. Let people be DINK's. Also...where was Pierre at the end? Like let them be DINKWAD's.
I still loved it and devoured it within a day, this series is so much fun and always reminds me of why I love romance novels.
Thanks to Net Galley for an ARC!

I’ve been reading this series since the beginning, i am a sports romance girly, but i think i rank this second on the big shot series. The au pair affair still ranks first for me. That being said i did enjoy reading this book. I love all the scenes with Mailer and Corrigan. I hope we get more of them soon. Those goofballs had me cracking up.

I was SO EXCITED to receive this ARC yesterday, that I downloaded it immediately and finished it already. I am obsessed with this series, and this one was even better than the first 2.
I loved how Tessa Bailey brought in the characters from the other books, both major characters (Burgess) and minor (the orgasm Donors) in this story to enhance the story of Chloe and Sig. When I read about them in The Au Pair Affair, they got my attention but I was unsure how she was going to make this book work. But I got sucked in from the very beginning. I loved the story between these 2, as well as the long, drawn out lust and love these 2 felt for each other.
I also appreciated no third act breakup because of miscommunication, and I appreciated how these characters were upfront with each other the whole time.
I'm hoping that Ms. Bailey continues this series, because if she writes it, I will read it. This one was no different. And I'm so glad I was one of the first to read this book!

Another 5 star romance from Tessa Bailey! As I suspected from reading the previous two in this series, Sig and Chloe’s story did not disappoint.
The story starts with Sig and Chloe meeting and gives us sweet snippets leading up to present day. You can feel their instant connection and the love at first sight energy coming off the page. Once we catch up to present day there’s the push and pull, will they get together or not that highlights just how much they love one another despite the challenge of soon becoming step siblings. I won’t spoil the ending but I’ll just say I wasn’t sure how a HEA would be pulled off but it was a great solution and I was so happy to see a HEA!
The way Sig and Chloe care for each other, support one another and are truly best friends and soulmates is just, kick your feet, smile inducing and swoonworthy. And of course with any Tessa Bailey story there is plenty of spice!
A perfect addition to the series and I can’t wait for where this goes next!
Thank you Tessa Bailey, NetGalley and Avon for the ARC!!

after attempting this one, i just don’t think this is my up of tea. i’d had mixed feelings on this series thus far but i think the insta-lust really deterred me and i felt like they didn’t have an authentic connection outside of the bedroom. while i love my books with a healthy dose of spice, i love when they bring the emotional appeal and this was a wee bit underdeveloped here. i will not be posting a negative review to sites.

Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god.
Tessa Bailey does it again.
I thought after the first and second book that they couldn’t get any better. I was wrong. Dream Girl Drama is my favorite in the series and will stay that way despite more coming out.
After the Au Pair Affair, I just knew that these two were going to be front and center in this third and boy was I glad that I was right.
The instant chemistry between Sig and Chloe is undeniable as it turns into a slow burn type love as they try to resist their feelings for one another because they’re soon to be step siblings. They don’t do a good job at it because the tension that builds is smoldering and all consumable at times.
I loved the way Sig was always there for her, teaching her new things and how to spread her wings to be on her own. I loved how Chloe was always there to support him and tell him that she’s proud of him because he had hardly had that growing up with a single parent.
His obsession with her is to die for. He was possessive in the best way possible and how he claimed her as his even without them being together was delectable. I loved how throughout the book he reminded her that there would be no one else for each other even if she couldn’t accept it yet.
To say I’m excited for the next book is an understatement. It’s with one of our favorite rookies and I’m looking forward to that immensely.
Thank you to NetGalley and Avon for an eArc.

I will read anything Tessa Bailey writes and I will eat it up. Can always count on her to write fun escapism’ books and this one delivered. Loved getting to see more of Sig and Chloe after the first 2 books.

3.5 ⭐️
Sig and Chole made a splash of an appearance in The Au Pair Affair that left me with so many questions. Tessa Bailey had those questions answered and this story can live happily ever after.
Sig and Chole crash in to each other on what appears to be a normal night. Little do they know, they'll part ways and see each other sooner rather than later. This is just the beginning to their wild ride of a relationship.
I went in and wasn't sure what I was expecting out of this story. I didn't really vibe with Sig and Chole when they appeared in The Au Pair Affair. Sig and Chole grew on me throughout this story. Both characters wanted to be with each other and had that undeniable attraction from the very beginning. This continued throughout the story in a perfect balance of tension, banter, and friendship.
Tessa Bailey always tells a story and likes to throw in curveballs. The story might be a little unhinged at times, but you will always get a solid beginning, middle, and end. This story was no different. I enjoyed this story more than The Au Pair Affair.
Thank you to Avon Harper Voyager and NetGalley for this book in exchange for my own thoughts and opinions.

This book was everything that I was hoping for and more! The vibes between Chloe and Sig in The Au Pair Affair were intense, so I loved that Dream Girl Drama went back in time to show readers just how they got to their present. Their chance meeting at Chloe's country club was the perfect meet cute and it was clearly both lust and love at first sight. If you are a new reader to the series at this point, you have no idea how heartbreaking this scene is, but if you are a series vet, you know that the dinner from hell is about to come.
Because of the future step-sibling situation, Chloe and Sig take a step back from would-be lovers to best friends, but the passion is constantly there beneath the surface, and it's obvious to everyone around them. While Tessa Bailey's books always have some great sexy scenes, my favorite parts of this book were how the connection between these two characters helped Chloe find some inner strength and courage that she needed to pursue more. I suppose that some readers might be weirded out by the step-sibling/love situation, as the public ends up being in the book, but they are adults when they meet, have no idea that their parents are dating, and so I guess I don't see what the huge deal was. Maybe I'm just naive.
I feel like the groundwork was laid for a couple more books in this franchise, so I hope that I'm right!! Thanks to NetGalley for the advanced digital copy.

Thank you Netgalley and Avon for letting me read Dream Girl Drama! It’s been one of my most anticipated rom coms for 2025 and I’m so happy to get it in 2024! It’s got that reliable delightful Tessa Bailey energy, the stakes are high for both characters, and it adds so much tension to their interactions. That said, the fact that they feel their love is forbidden and taboo because they’re going to be step-siblings feels ridiculous to me. Based on other reviews, it’s clear that this would be a genuine conflict for some people, but I really don’t get that. They meet as adults and it’s both parents like 3rd or 4th marriage, the fact that would be a career obstacle seems far fetched to me. But like I said, it adds great tension to their dynamic, so I rolled with it.

*Dream Girl Drama* by Tessa Bailey is a fun, steamy escape with plenty of charm. The chemistry between the main characters is electric, and Bailey’s signature humor shines through, keeping the story lighthearted and engaging. While some parts felt predictable, the romance and witty banter more than made up for it. A solid, enjoyable read for fans of romance with a touch of sass!

In *Dream Girl Drama*, Tessa Bailey serves up a fun, fiery romance packed with unforgettable characters, sizzling chemistry, and a storyline that is as dramatic as it is heartwarming. Known for her signature blend of humor and heat, Bailey delivers a delightful rom-com that explores the ups and downs of falling in love while balancing dreams, doubts, and a fair bit of self-discovery.
The novel introduces us to a protagonist with big dreams and even bigger obstacles, who’s determined to make her mark. But life gets a little more complicated when she meets a charismatic love interest who is equal parts swoon-worthy and challenging. Their undeniable chemistry is instantly engaging, with plenty of witty banter and intense moments that keep the tension deliciously high throughout the book. Bailey’s knack for writing dynamic dialogue and electrifying romantic tension truly shines here, making every scene between the leads a joy to read.
One of the standout elements of *Dream Girl Drama* is Bailey’s nuanced character development. Both the protagonist and her love interest are beautifully flawed, with insecurities and backstories that feel authentic and relatable. As they navigate the emotional rollercoaster of romance, they also confront their own personal struggles, growing individually as much as they grow together. It’s a journey that is both sweet and empowering, reminding readers that love often brings out the best in us – but not without a little self-reflection along the way.
Bailey’s signature humor is also at full throttle, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments and clever dialogue that brings lightness and charm to the story. The side characters add depth and warmth, from supportive friends to quirky family members, each bringing a dose of personality that enriches the narrative.
With its compelling mix of romance, personal growth, and drama, *Dream Girl Drama* is a feel-good story perfect for fans of witty, heartfelt romance. Tessa Bailey captures all the highs and lows of finding love while chasing your dreams, leaving readers both smiling and inspired. For anyone craving a romance with equal parts humor and heart, *Dream Girl Drama* is a must-read.
