Tessa Bailey does it again! Dream Girl Drama is everything I wanted and more—fun, flirty, and packed with sizzling tension that had me hooked from page one. The trope? Absolutely perfect for me. The meet-cute? Hilarious and set the stage for all the chaos (and chemistry!) to come. The slow build of tension was so well done—I was practically vibrating with anticipation waiting for these two to finally give in! If you love witty banter, swoony moments, and characters you can’t help but root for, this one needs to be on your TBR.

Tessa Bailey's "Dream Girl Drama" delivers a delightful blend of humor, romance, and heartfelt moments that kept me thoroughly entertained. The story follows professional hockey player Sig Gauthier and harp prodigy Chloe Clifford, whose chance meeting leads to an unexpected and complicated romance. Their chemistry is palpable from the start, making their journey both engaging and enjoyable.
Bailey masterfully crafts a narrative that balances lightheartedness with deeper emotional growth. Chloe's quest for independence and Sig's unwavering support add depth to their characters, making them relatable and endearing. The family dynamics introduce just the right amount of tension, enhancing the plot without overshadowing the romance.
As a fan of lighthearted romance, I found "Dream Girl Drama" to be a satisfying read that left me eagerly anticipating the next installment in the series. Tessa Bailey has once again proven her talent for creating captivating stories with lovable characters.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the story or the characters, but Tessa can write some excellent spice. I enjoyed the first half of the book but it fell a little flat in the second half. I do love that her books are fun, quick and often easy reads but it wasn't anything exceptional. I was very excited to get a Tessa Bailey ARC and although this was not the best book I've ever read, I would certainly apply to read more ARCs.

I enjoyed reading Dream Girl Drama by Tessa Bailey. You will fall in love with all the characters. I received an ARC of this book courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and given freely. Happy Reading!

Awww 🥰 I absolutely LOVED these characters. So far, this was my favorite book of this series. Sig and Chloe’s shenanigans will live rent free in my head for quite some time. At least until the next book comes out 😊 I totally predicted the ending, but it didn’t take away from my enjoyment of this story. If you love the protective, she’s mine, protect her at all costs trope, you will adore this book!!
Here are a few of my favorite things:
•forbidden love
•the BEST banter (Tessa always nails this!)
•teammate humor/ pack mentality - HOCKEY🙌
•there’s a dog!
•protect each other at all costs trope
•the PERFECT blend of spice
I can’t wait for the next one in this series!

Dream Girl Drama is the third and my favorite so far in Tess Bailey's Big Shot series. It is a story about professional hockey player Sig Gauthier and Chloe Clifford. After a country club meet cute with instant connection they quickly learn that they are going to become step siblings in the very near future. The book navigates this struggle between their overwhelming connection and the taboo that their families upcoming marriage presents.

Tropes:
•hockey romance
•Forbidden (soon to be step siblings)
•Love at first sight
•3rd act breakup
•Slow burn
•”Good girl”
This is a classic Tessa Bailey romance. I love a down bad MMC, one who knows he will do anything for the girl and that is exactly who Sig is. I enjoyed how obsessed he was with Chloe. Chloe was a great FMC and her personal growth through out the book was so fun to read about.
I really enjoyed seeing some of the side characters and have been properly enticed to read the next one in the series.
My only frustration with this book is the ending, or really the resolution if you can even call it that. Harvey knowing the truth should have said SOMETHING to Sig. I was so frustrated by the whole situation at that point that I was just glad they finally got together.

And here I thought Tessa Bailey would redeem herself with this one.
Chloe and Sig were my two favorite characters in the disaster that was The Au Pair Affair so I was really hoping that I’d love their story. Turns out, they’re insufferable. The dialogue was cringey. Chloe had no personality. Sig could have had a personality but instead that was swapped for the whole “touch her and die” trope. And why do we need to spend an entire book just pining for each other in the horniest ways possible.
Plus, the whole point of this story was supposed to be that their relationship was taboo. Instead that just felt like a poorly written side plot with the stupidest resolution ever.
I’d say I’m never giving Tessa another chance but I know I don’t have it in me to stop hoping she’ll return the style she used for IHOS.

I went into Dream Girl Drama expecting one thing… and WOW, was I wrong! This book completely blew me away in the best way possible
From the moment we met Sig and Chloe, you could feel the tension simmering between them. It was there, lingering in the background, but you didn’t quite know what was going on. And let me tell you, when their story finally unfolds? Off. The. Charts. The chemistry, the slow burn, the “touching without touching” moments—it had me absolutely hooked.
And then, just when I thought, ‘There’s no way this is going to have a happy ending. Who writes a romance without a happy ending?’
That plot twist! Tessa, you got me good with that one!
Thank you Tessa Bailey, @Avonbooks, @netgalley, and @HarperVoyagerUS for the eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review!

When I received this ARC I knew there was potential for me to get the step sibling ick since the couple was introduced in the previous book.
I think it’s almost worse because they focus sooo much on how it’s wrong in the book and then do it anyway. I have loved this series by Tessa Bailey and probably should have skipped this one but at the same time I was hoping for a quick resolve of the step sibling thing and then move on to the relationship. All of the sexual tension in the book comes from the fact that they can’t have each other because they are going to be step siblings

Tessa Bailey is one of my go-to authors for steamy romance with swoon-worthy heroes, but Dream Girl Drama just didn’t hit the mark for me. While I usually love her signature mix of banter and chemistry, this one felt like it was missing that spark.
The characters’ conflicts felt repetitive, and the emotional depth I typically expect from Bailey’s books didn’t land as well. The romance had its moments, but I never fully connected with the couple the way I have in her other books.
That said, Bailey’s writing is still engaging, and there were some fun, steamy moments sprinkled throughout. If you’re a die-hard fan, it’s worth checking out, but for me, it’s my least favorite of hers so far.

Tessa Bailey never fails to deliver fun and spicy reads! And this one was even more entertaining having a good plot to support the romance. I actually really liked the family drama in this one.
Chloe and Sig had a great romance. Especially in the first half of the book! Everything about them was so cute. Their chemistry and the angst was off the charts.
If you're looking for a fast paced read with a delightful romance, then pick this up!

The step sibling trope is definitely not something I thought I would be into but I am. I enjoyed finally getting the back story between Sig and Chloe because they left a lot of us curious during The Aupair Affair. With all that I still find this to be my least favorite in the series. Sig’s love for Chloe almost comes across as one sided sometimes and honestly for half the book I have trouble even liking her character. She talks so much about wanting to be on her own yet Sig pays for EVERYTHING and half the time she can’t even be bothered to actually pay her rent and instead buy makeup. I was happy to see the prospect of losing him change her perspective on how she lives her life.

Overall another easy and enjoyable Tessa Bailey book. I look forward to more in this series!

I already knew from The Au Pair Affair that Sig and Chloe’s relationship was going to be a longing angst fest and Tessa didn’t let us down. The forbidden taboo nature of their possible relationship eclipsed by the overwhelming feeling of being with your soul mate but not being able to be with them. My heart just broke for these two at every turn and with every set back.
I honestly didn’t know how she was going to pull this one out because it truly seemed like an impossible situation but you have to trust the process on this one and know it will all be okay in the end. If it’s not then it’s not the end.
This is easily one of my new favorite TB books. I was so here for the pining and the seemingly endless will they or won’t they moments. It just made it all the more satisfying when they did.
If you’re a fan of hockey romance, insta but forbidden love, (soon to be) step siblings, all the yearning, and mutual obsession then this one is for you.

This book is pure Tessa Bailey magic. There's just something about her books that will suck me in every single time. Sig and Chloe were perfection from the start and I fell in love with both of them from the first chapter. Definitely recommend! And don't be scared of the 3rd person if that's not normally your thing — it's not mine either and I forgot I was reading it. that's how well she does it!

4.25 ⭐️ safe to say I’m officially attached to this group of characters (yes, even the orgasm donors believe it or not!!). I ADORED Sig and Chloe ~ their chemistry was sizzlinggggg. Tessa really had me BEGGING for more, and I can promise you the wait was worth it too. 🤭
Massive thanks to Avon for an eARC in exchange for my honest review. I will be YEARNING for book 4.

I have loved each book in the Big Shots Series so deeply, but this one scratched a certain itch, I simply can’t explain it!! Chloe and Sig have this almost cosmic, once in a lifetime meeting.. but things take an interesting turn when hours later, they meet again.. this time when their parents introduce them, as future step siblings! (Dan and Serena walked so that Chloe and Sig could run)
This is a story of forbidden love packed with tension and angst, and, as the title promises, drama!! Sig is truly my dream man, he has the most insane amount of “I will burn the world down for her” energy. & Chloe and Sig together have the kind of love poets write about.
A million forehead kisses and thank yous to @avonbooks for the ARC 🤍

Spicy, male female, 3rd person dual point of view, contemporary romance. This was a really fun read! Very slow burn but in the best way -very spicy. This couple was great, both together and individually. I'm really loving everything this author writes.
