Why does Tessa Bailey write the best mmc that will lay on glass just so the fmc won’t get cut!? I always know I’m going to have a good time reading her books. Her characters are always so fun and so sold out for each other I’m jealous of fictional woman who get to be with these amazing guys. This series has been so fun to read!

This book is my favourite book in the series. I have never read a step-sibling trope but OMG Tessa Bailey did this one perfectly!! It was beautiful. It was heartbreaking, And man the slow burn was so worth it!! Tessa Bailey got me into romance reading and I love her writing style>. She always offers the perfect amount of smut to make it interesting and this one did not disappoint!!

You know a book is going to be bonkers when the main characters are already making out within the first 10% of the book. This book is definitely that book. Tessa Bailey knows how to write some spicy scenes, and her characters have filthy mouths (but I'm not complaining). While this was an incredibly fun read, there's nothing extremely revolutionary about this story. I thought the step-siblings troupe was wild, definitely a first for me, but it did create enough tension that made the spicy scenes more fun?! Maybe that's something I need to talk to a therapist about. Loved the hockey aspect because main male characters who know how to lift a woman are pretty much essential for smutty books, right? Overall, this was a quick read but it isn't the best romance book that I will read this year. With that being said, I'll definitely read every book in this series.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for an advanced reader copy of this book. All opinions within this review are my own.

okay, Tessa is always a favorite of mine but something about this series is hitting DIFFERENTLY. This one especially had the yearning dial turned up to the point that Mrs. Bailey broke the dial completely off. The way that their relationship grew had my heart in a vice grip. The friends-to-lovers pipeline was sweet yet so painful because the insta-love was so intense. I think that Tessa knocked the tension right out of the park on this one, their chemistry was dripping off the page. Chloe was such a fun fmc and I adored the way she loved Sig. Sig was classic Bailey overprotective, grouchy mmc but man did he melt for his woman and I was so here for it. The forbiddeness of it all played out differently than I expected, I felt like she shocked me a couple of times at the end there. These two had a rocky road for their HEA but it was worth every page to see them so happy in their epilogue. ADORED them.

This series is everything to me and I was so incredibly thankful to be able to ARC read this one. I loved the way she set up Corrigan and Skylar's story, their banter at the baseball game had me kicking and giggling.

I really wanted to like this book unfortunately I did not. I loved Fangirl Down and enjoyed The Au Pair Affair but this book missed the mark. The beginning had good potential with their meet cute but the conflict of them soon to be step siblings just didn't work. I am all for a taboo romance but it feelmlike there was any actual relationship building in this book. Chole basically just mooches off of Sig while he let's her walk all over them. There is large time jumps where we as a reader are just suppose to guess that the relationship develops but we don't see any of that on page at all. I was do not invested in their relationship that I just skimmed over the intimate scenes because I didn't care enough to read them.

This is a quick spicy read with fast paced chapters and a good instalove story following Sig and Chloe.
Sig and Chloe have a lo of chemistry and the insta love story line was done well. I really liked Sig and he was very likeable. Chloe was great, but i would have loved to see more character development for Chloe. Because she had her life handed to her, she comes acrss a little bit naive and childish.
The plot was paced well and the orld building was good. I enjoyed this book! Thank you to Netgalley for this arc. All opinions are my own.

Sig and Chloe’s attraction is electric from the moment they meet, instantly undeniable despite the fact that their parents are about to marry, making them future stepsiblings. This creates an impossible situation, not only because it could ruin Sig’s hockey image, but also jeopardize Chloe’s future as a harpist. As the chemistry between them intensifies, their connection becomes impossible to ignore, leading to a whirlwind romance full of flirtation, banter, and sizzling moments. Sig is the ultimate "I can fix it" type, always going the extra mile to make Chloe smile and shouldering responsibilities so she has it easier, while Chloe, who might seem a bit spoiled, fights for both her and Sig’s happiness and growth beyond their protected lives. The book is fast-paced with short chapters, written in third person but clearly showing the shifting perspectives, making it an engaging read without any dragging. The flirting is spot-on, and the characters are so lovable, making it impossible not to root for them. With a heartwarming HEA and hints for the next book sprinkled in, it’s a fun, spicy ride you won’t want to miss. The tropes are everything—sports romance, forbidden love, future stepsiblings, and strangers to friends to lovers—delivering a perfect romance package.

4.5 stars

Ever since I read the second book in this series, The Au Pair Affair, I was very intrigued with Sig and his unconventional relationship with his future step-sister, Chloe so I was so excited to finally read their story. I have to say I was not disappointed! There was so much angst in their story and I really felt for them so much. Right from the beginning there was that instant connection but when they found out their parents were getting married they knew their feelings could not go any further and tried to fight their attraction. They tried to keep themselves from crossing any forbidden lines, but Sig’s need to protect and to take care of her and also Chloe’s complete support of Sig had the public giving them the side eye until it blew up in their faces. It was all so heart breaking! These two were soulmates so you know they have to end up together but they do have things to overcome but worth it in the end.

Overall, a fantastic read. This author always gives us the spice and Sig definitely gives us that! Loved the humor, the sweetness and the appearance of Pierre was a nice touch.

Thank you so much to Netgalley and Avon and Harper Voyager for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. All opinions are my own.

This was an enjoyable quick read. It involves a forbidden romance between professional hockey player, Sig, and harp prodigy, Chloe. Chloe came across as naive and sheltered and often seemed helpless, which at times was a little off putting, but overall she was a fun character. Sig was frequently taking care of her, which was sweet and his interactions with his teammates often involved laughs. Thank you Avon Publishing for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley.

I'd really been looking forward to this title, however, I felt the plot was a bit of a stretch, especially considering the premise that they couldn't be together. The sexual tension btw the 2 characters in the previous book was chef's kiss. It seemed the timeline for them to finally get together, or more so for the MMC to cave, took too long in the characters' timeline. While I'm a big fan of Tessa Bailey and had high hopes for this couple, I felt it could have been a bit better. While it will likely be a repeat read for years to come, I still have trouble giving a full 5 stars.

Tropes:
❤️ sports romance
🏒 forbidden romance
❤️ future stepsiblings
🏒 strangers to friends to lovers
❤️ 3rd person
🏒insta love
❤️slowburn

Reading the start of this book felt kind of like an Alanis Morissette song “It's meeting the man of my dreams and then meeting my beautiful *Future stepbrother* And isn't it ironic, don't you think?

But on a more serious note, I loved the insta love between Sig and Chloe. They start falling for each other immediately. But when life throws them a curve it throws everything out of whack. Sig kind of forces Chloe to stand up for herself. She throws herself into a lifestyle she has never experienced, but she is doing it to better herself on the Harp.

Sig would absolutely do anything to keep Chloe in the lifestyle she is used to living. not having to worry about anything. He does however keep his feelings for her at bay, she is going to be his stepsister soon.
There is so much tenson between these two, and the slow burn is perfection. They both have been clear about how they feel for each other, and they both want to act on those feelings. However, they do not want to do anything that could ruin their careers.
I love Sig, and is willingness to do anything and everything for Chloe. The little things he does for her that she doesn’t even realize he is doing. He seems like the biggest teddy bear.

I really wish we saw more growth from Chloe maturity wise. Throughout the entire book she felt very immature (yes, she had a very sheltered life, and did not do anything for herself). However, her character just felt very immature, and I would have loved to see that grow for her. I do love how she started to take charge of her life and not allow her mother to dictate what she is doing. I love how she decided what she wanted and went for it.
The ending did not turn out how I expected. I am good at figuring out how people can get out of situations. However, I did not see this one coming. I loved the ending of this book so much.

3⭐️ I want to preface by saying, I know many people will enjoy this because it is a quick and spicy read, however it was not for me. It was way too insta love for me. I do know that it was marketed as that though, so I feel like i should have known. However, there were other things that missed for me as well. I didn’t relate or like either of the characters. The FMC was extremely annoying and her cluelessness was too much for me. The MMC was willing to give it all up for her and move her to his city hours after meeting her??? I also was super intrigued by the forbidden/stepsibling aspect, however it was very over dramatic and the resolution was anticlimactic. I will say I did enjoy the previous book in the series, so I will continue reading the series.

Another must read by Tessa Bailey! I was completely invested. Sig is absolutely your next book boyfriend. Big swoon! There is so much to love about his character, particularly the way he loves. Chloe had a lot of growth throughout the story. I adored the ending. I'm never disappointed by this author.

Thank you to Tessa Bailey, Avon and Harper Voyager, and NetGalley for giving me an eARC of Dream Girl Drama in exchange for my honest review.

Dream Girl Drama is Tessa Bailey's next book in the Big Shots series. I love Tessa Bailey, but I have such mixed feelings about this book. Dream Girl Drama follows Sig and Chloe, who meet briefly and have instant chemistry. However, shortly after meeting the two learn that their parents are about to get married, which means that they are about to become step-siblings. In so many ways, this is such a fun romance. The pining, the clear attraction between the two, the slow development before they cave in. Just when I got to the point where I was over the pining and the slow burn, they finally caved. In those aspects I loved the book. Watching how they navigated the dynamics about them becoming step-siblings, and how while there is no genetic relationship and they just meet, being in the public eye and navigating their relationship was interesting. However, I wish that they was more character development. I would have loved to see more of Chloe going from this spoiled, sheltered lifestyle, to learning how to fend for herself and spend less. While in some ways we see those changes and realizations, I wish there was a little more. I wish we saw Sig open up more and become more than just this guy who will cater to Chloe's every whim. Thinking about it, I feel like maybe it is more the instant attraction that bothers me. I did appreciate how we saw the two wait awhile before they caved, but the initial spark followed by both being head-over-heels for each other was hard for me. I think it honestly comes down to preference where I like more character development while this is a plot-centered romance, and I like a little bit more of a slow-burn where you can really see the couple come together. I do think that this will be a hit for so many romance readers, it just depends on what type of romance you like to read. I am excited for the next book that was teased during this, and I do think knowing Tessa Bailey as a writer and my tastes as a reader, I think it will be a massive hit for me.

I have been looking forward to this book since I met Chloe and Sig is The Au Pair Affair! I absolutely loved Chloe and could not wait to dive into her story! Well, the wait was worth it because I loved this book! It might be my favorite Tessa Bailey book to date! The chemistry between Chloe and Sig was…🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥! I adored both characters and just wanted them to GET TOGETHER! My one complaint was the focus on their “inappropriate” relationship because they were “step siblings”. One, they were not step siblings, nor had they spent any part of their lives as such. Two, their parents were not even married yet. And three, they met before they even knew about their parents’ relationship. I just did not see how that should have impacted their lives the way it did. I could say more, but do not want to post any spoilers. Regardless, I Ioved their story and the way Sig took care of Chloe, helping her to insert her independence and learn how to be more responsible. It was absolutely adorable and I tore through it! Now, to have to wait for the next book…*sigh*.

a professional hockey player falls immediately in love with an adorable high class princess! The two share a swoon worthy kiss before having to say goodbye, for now, only to find out their parents are getting married! The two continue a friendship built on attraction they must deny in order to keep their parents happy but denying their chemistry is getting harder by the minute.

This was a quick read, one of the things I enjoy most about Tessa Bailey. The plot is very clear and precise and she really builds on this "will-they-won't-they" dynamic very well.

Insta-love is not normally my thing but a couple who are completely honest and vulnerable with each other are.

The book had a very unrealistic start but the friends to lovers trope was handled with ease.

Tessa Bailey is like a guilty pleasure for me as a reader. She writes spice very well. She is obviously very good at it but I do get uncomfortable enough in those chapters just because of my personality. I do prefer leaving some to the imagination.

This is the third book in an ongoing series of hers. I love that about her too: How she has multiple series and they coexist so smoothly you can always enjoy her books in any order.

Tessa Bailey delivers another installment in her Big Shots series with Dream Girl Drama featuring Sig and Chloe, who were first mentioned in the Au Pair Affair. Sig Gauthier, a charming pro hockey player, meets musical prodigy Chloe Clifford when his truck breaks down at an exclusive country club. Their chemistry is instant, leading to a moonlit kiss that promises more.... until they realize that Chloe’s mother just happens to be Sig's father's new fiancee. Suddenly, their attraction is complicated by impending step-sibling status.

Chloe craves independence, and Sig helps her find her footing. I appreciated Sig's desire to be supportive while helping Chloe grow into her own. Their relationship is filled with tension and desire, and I enjoy their banter and interactions. Since they are going to be step-siblings, the optics of their relationship are professionally controversial. On the one hand, I understand... on the other... why? Sig and Chloe didn't grow up together; they met as adults, aren't biologically related, and are consenting. It seems like a press release and a few interviews would clarify their relationship status.

Overall an enjoyable read, preferred it over the Au Pair Affair, but Fan Girl remains the best in the series.

Dream Girl Drama by Tessa Bailey is a fun, steamy, and emotional romance that delivers everything that I love in a romance story.
Sig and Chloe have an instant, electric connection, and their forbidden romance adds just the right amount of tension. Sig is the ultimate book boyfriend—thoughtful, smitten, and completely devoted. Chloe finds her independence with his support, making their love story even sweeter.
Bailey’s signature humor, sizzling chemistry, and heartfelt moments shine in this book. Their relationship builds beautifully, with plenty of push-and-pull before things heat up.
The drama surrounding their families and careers keeps things interesting, but at its core, this is a soulmate story.
Whether you're a longtime fan or new to the Big Shots series, this book is a must-read. If you love swoon-worthy heroes and love-at-first-sight romances, Sig and Chloe’s story will not disappoint!
