If you're searching for a romcom that perfectly captures the essence of fall, this book is a must-read. Sirena, a kitchen witch, finds her magic going haywire throughout October. Desperate for a fresh start, she wishes for a second chance at the end of the month. To her surprise, she wakes up the next day to discover it's October 1st all over again.
Determined to make the most of her second chance, Sirena enlists the help of Gus to navigate through a better October.
This story is incredibly charming, featuring witches, a magician, cozy fall vibes, and a delightful slow-burn romance. It's a book I'd highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and enchanting fall romcom.

The cute title and cover sold me right away, as I was looking for my next cozy season read.
DEJA BREW was a cute and lighthearted romance featuring small town charm, magical vibes, and great characters. I listened to the audio format and connected so well to the narration performance!
*many thanks to Hachette Audio and Netgalley for the gifted copy for review

Such a cute and fluffy read! I love a small-town romance, but adding a mythical, magical element to it makes for such a cute book! This book was perfect for fall, and I will be adding this to my books to recommend during the fall season. Serena and Gus have a place in my heart! #SmallTownRomantasy!

This was a fun and quirky story with a lighthearted vibe that makes it easy to listen to. The plot was enjoyable, and I appreciated the magical twist mixed with small-town charm. What really stood out to me was the audiobook narration—the voice actors did a great job bringing the characters to life and gave each one a distinct personality, which made the experience more engaging.
While I had a good time overall, the story didn’t quite hook me as much as I hoped. Some parts felt a bit slow or predictable, but it was still a pleasant, cozy listen. A good pick if you’re looking for something light and whimsical with a touch of magic!

Apparently it's just my thing to request and read books out of order. I started Sarah Ready's series on book three and I followed that trend with this one. We love a good fall book. The atmosphere in this one was great. Very cute and cozy. This was the end of the series and I need to read books one and two now. I really enjoyed the time travel and soulmate aspect that this title had. All in all a cute fall romance for the season.

I enjoy this magical world and the characters individually. But the spark between the two just seemed to be missing something. Getting a repeat of October was a fun concept and the moods of the fall season were perfection, but the dialogue was so cheesy and not for me. Overall an enjoyable listen, but not one I'll come back to.

I enjoyed this book, but it felt a little slow. I loved the magic and relationship. I love time traveling and thought it was such a fun idea and handled really well.

I’m a marketing and publicity associate with Forever, just popping my review here to keep up my ratio. I do love Celestine, this book, and this audio edition though :)

As a tea lover and someone who enjoys magical stories, I found this book to be an excellent fit for me. It truly embodies the saying that food is the way to the soul. Everything about it felt like a warm, cozy, magical hug, filled with love for food and life.
Regarding the audio, the narrators did a fantastic job bringing each character to life, and their chemistry was remarkable.

Ground hog day and soul mates this was super cute. I love how they slow come together while helping each other.

Really cute and spicy addition to the elemental love series. I really loved the exploration of soulmates or somebody being your kindred. I also enjoyed getting updates on Ursula and Lucy sprinkled throughout the book.
Audio was fantastic and both narrators perfectly captured their respective characters.

Deja Brew is the perfect cozy read for fall, complete with witchy paranormal vibes. A tender friends-to-lovers romance that stole my heart. Featuring a curvy female protagonist, the book offers diverse representation which I love to see in romance, The main relationship unfolds as a slow burn, tender and sweet, and is filled with all the warm, comforting vibes you'd want in a fall story.
The audiobook is particularly well done, drawing you deeper into the characters’ world. It’s a perfect companion for a chilly evening or a relaxing weekend. I loved it so much that I'm already eager to dive into the other books in the series. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a charming, heartfelt romance with a lot of heart!

I could see how some would like this book, the fall vibes, perfect for autumn.
I enjoyed the idea of the book and the characters were fun. It just did not flow well. I felt like it jumped from scene to scene and I was confused on what was going on... I was super sad because I really thought I was going to love this book :(

Deja Brew is a lighthearted rom-com with a touch of magic, but it didn't quite live up to the excitement I was hoping for. The premise of Sirena, a chef with magical powers gone awry, and Gus, a former reality star trying to rebuild his life, had potential, and the repeated "Groundhog Day"-style October definitely brought some fun moments. The setting and fall vibes were charming, and I enjoyed the quirky magic and the growing romance between the two leads.
That said, while it was a cute read, it didn’t fully deliver the depth or spark I’ve seen in other books in the genre. The plot felt a bit predictable, and the characters’ emotional arcs didn't feel as developed as I’d hoped. It’s an enjoyable enough read for a cozy day, but not something I’d rush to recommend as a must-read. Fans of sweet, easy-going rom-coms will likely find it fun, but if you're looking for something more substantial or unique, this one might not hit the mark.

**Review for *Deja Brew* by Celestine Martin (Audiobook Edition)**
*Deja Brew* is like your favorite latte—warm, a little magical, and impossible to resist. Celestine Martin serves up romance with a dash of witchy charm, and the narrator’s cozy, enchanting voice makes it all the sweeter. Perfect for anyone who believes love (and coffee) can fix almost anything.

I will scream it from the rooftops, Deja Brew is a must read for every romcom lover. Celestine did an incredible job pulling you into the story and keep you turning pages until the HEA at the end.
Audio review: The narrator did a fantastic job and I highly recommend any book narrated by Marissa Hampton and Christopher Hampton! They truly brought the characters and story to life.

I did enjoy the story itself. The pacing felt different for the narrators however. It felt like the female narrator was speaking 1.25x faster than the male narrator and there were a lot of random pauses 10 secs or so that made the listening awkward at times. The male narrator performance was perfect and helped me really fall into the MMC world and freya grove. The female narrator unfortunately with the pacing and pronouncing some words made it hard to follow.

I was really looking forward to Deja Brew by Celestine Martin. I really enjoyed Watchful Thinking, the first in the Elemental Love series of stand-alones. In Deja Brew, Sirena is a kitchen witch whose powers are on the fritz. This was a super slow burn between Sirena and Gus.
I listened to Deja Brew as an audiobook and found this one to be just okay - definitely not one of my top reads of 2024, but a cute witchy read with lots of fall vibes.

I felt that this book was a bit childish, and I was not able to connect with the two main characters. Because of this, it really took me out of the story and the narrator was OK, but it didn’t really help for me to be able to connect with the characters much more, so it was hard for me to get through. I would recommend this personally as a full read, but I would go in without warning to my audience.

When I requested this book I did not realize it was the third in a series. With that being said, I was able to follow along enough in the story. Unfortunately this book wasn't for me. I had a hard time being pulled in and wasn't loving the narrator.
