Very cute audiobook for the season! I loved the story and characters, first read for me by this author and I really enjoyed.

What a fun, cozy, witchy read! Perfect for the season and just relaxing to read/listen. Audio narration was very nice. I will need to add the rest of the series to my TBR. If you like small town love, great descriptions of food, and witchy stuff, you’ll enjoy this book.
I received an arc from netgalley and the publisher.

This was a whimsical story full of fall nostalgia and activities - making it a cozy read for October TBRs.
Read this book if you enjoy:
> Friends (with benefits) to lovers
> Witchy magic
> Fall vibes
> Open door spice
Overall, this book had elements that I really enjoyed - all of the fall elements and cozy scene setting made me glad that I'm reading this one in October. The witchy elements were perfect for the season. The book is actually the third in a series (which I didn't realize), and I'll likely go back and read the first two. I didn't feel like I was obviously missing anything by starting with book three, but maybe the town and the magical elements of the town would have been more familiar if I hadn't started with this book.
The MCs - the kitchen witch and the famous magician from a magical family were interesting and the chemistry that they had was believable. I thought the backstory on the famous magician and his family was interesting and different from other supernatural books that I've read recently - which I really appreciated. The relationship that the FMC has with her sisters was an important part of the story and I loved the support that they gave each other and the role they played in each other's lives.
The narrators for this book were fine. There were times where some of the supporting character voices were a little jarring and other points were the tone and pacing felt a bit monotone/flat. But overall, it was fine as an audiobook. I do wonder if I would have enjoyed it a little more if I had read the physical/electronic version. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ALC of this book.

This was so good! The perfect, cozy fall time traveling witchy book! I really enjoyed this conclusion to the series (or is the conclusion? Hmmm?) Celestine Martin will always have a fan in me. The narrator was excellent for this as well

tis the season for witches, magicians, & romance!
🗣️ dual POV, love the narrators on the audiobooks (but the reading pace was slower than usual so I had to up my playback speed)
🔁 re-living a bad month, a re-do with new decisions
🎃 this is cozy fall embodied in a book! the perfect mix of magic and romance in a sweet autumnal bundle!!
❤️🔥 you’re getting pumpkin spice and spicy spice
🤎 I loved their chemistry! her spunkiness, his words of affirmation, their friendship
🍂 this will make you want to wander into the closest pumpkin patch/fall carnival
☕️ best paired with a spice cake and a warm beverage while looking at bright falling leaves on a chilly morning while wrapped in the coziest blanket!!!
this was just the lighthearted + entertaining read I needed in between my creepy October reads there’s a plot that moves things along but not high stakes to give your heart some rest🧡
thank you Hachette Audio and NetGalley for the e-ARC!

Thank you, Netgalley, the author, and Hachette/Forever for the gifted audio-book! ❤️ #gifted. My review is comprised of my honest thoughts.
Read this book if you like: Dual POV, time loop, fated mates, slow burn, steamy 🔥
This audiobook was so dang good. The narration is perfection. This is a cute and cozy read. The food descriptions are great. Make sure you don't read while hungry. 🤣 I highly recommend this, especially for a Fall read.

Thank you to Forever & Hachette Audio for the review copy!
Series Info: I grabbed this as a “read now” from Netgalley and didn’t realize it was the 3rd book in a series. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the other two books first, but I tend to be a bit of a series purist. Deja Brew can be read as a standalone!
Review: If you are looking for something light, romantic, and a little magical, Deja Brew might be for you!
🧡 Black MCs
☕️ Plus sized FMC
🧡 witchy
☕️ time loop
There were parts of Deja Brew that I really loved. Gus was down bad for Sirena, which is always an element that works well for me. For me, there were a few pacing issues that kept me from absolutely loving the book as a whole. One area that I especially noticed this was that there was a little too much focus on the rest of the world for my taste. I wanted us to spend more time on the romantic relationship in the first half of the book. But if you like your romances to feel like a full world, where you get to know the main character’s family, friends, and backstory, you may really enjoy this element! I think since I read this as a standalone without reading previous books in the series, this element felt more flat to me.
Sirena really struggled to decide what she wanted in this book: her magic and cooking didn’t work well, she longed for love but was afraid to try and go for it, and I felt like I didn’t really understand her character because of this indecisiveness.
Overall, I did find Sirena and Gus to have good chemistry, and I was eager to see their HEA!
🎧 I wouldn’t recommend this by audiobook. The male narrator was pretty monotone and didn’t have a lot of energy in his performance. The female narrator was great though! If you prefer audiobooks to print reading, the audiobook will get the story across fine.

Deja Brew the third book in the Elemental Love Series by Celestine Martin ist the first bokk of hers that I have read and I enjoyed ,my reading - a lot, it's a pumpkin spice latte in a book it is very sweet, a bit spicy and topped with a stellar cream of fleshed out side characters.
Deja Brew follows Sirena Caraway, a kitchen witch who is strung out and doesn't trust her abilities any more. In this books she gets a magical second-chance at October and romance. After a disastrous October culminates in her embarrassing herself at the birthday party of charming magician Gus, she stumbles upon her Nana’s wish tea. And one impulsive wish later she is back at the beginning of October "Groundhog Day" Style with the chance to change things and explore possibilities. This gives Sirena the chance to ace a job interview, rediscover trust in herself and rekindle something special with Gus.
All the best ingredients for autumn reading in this one !

Sirena had a messy October, her cooking powers are not working properly and she couldn't land her career saving job so she drinks a wishing tea on Halloween and wishes for a second chance. The magical tea works and it's October 1st once again and she starts getting Deja vu of her earlier days of the month and not just her but Gus as well. August is a magician who used to perform magic on stage but he decides to get away from the stage and the tv world and settle back into Freya Grove and be a steward at a museum.
I think it's a cozy witchy romcom with lots of cooking since Sirena is a cooking witch and history lessons with fall activities like pumpkin patch and enchanting maze visits.
They are both working on their issues and I like that they don't just get together and decide that they want to spend their entire lives with each other in just a month but actually give it time, take breaks and think it through.
I loved both of their siblings; they were the definition of family.
I truly enjoyed it.

This was a mixed review for me. On one hand, I really liked a lot of the banter, and the characters 80% of the time. I thought they were well matched, and I appreciated the two points of view, and I also quite like the personalities of each character.
However. One thing that really kind of ruined it for me was all of the smutty/intimate scenes. It wasn’t because these existed— I am an avid smut reader, so I have no problem with some sex scenes in a book. But unfortunately, for me, I just didn’t like the way the intimate scenes were written. They felt too artistic, but also too clean. The words themselves were not dirty, but the descriptions were quite artistically written in a way that felt out of touch at times. I think it felt a little bit too much like an attempt to elevate a sex scene so it wouldn’t feel dirty and sexual. It just didn’t hit the right chord for me.
That being said… Everything else about the book? I absolutely loved. The characters were fabulous, the plot was super interesting, and I really liked the way that the two main characters interacted and overlapped. I just had to take away a half star for the intimate scenes because they gave me the ick.
Also, on an audiobook specific note: I had a hard time with the pacing of how the two narrators read. The female narrator read quite a bit faster than the male narrator, so listening at 1.75 the female narrator felt appropriately quick, but the male narrator often felt like he was dragging. I kept having to switch between 1.75 for the female narrator and two times speed for the male narrator. It just made it hard as a listener.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5 (rounded up to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
Spice: 🌶️🌶️/5
Thank you, Hatchette Audio | Forever and NetGalley, for this ARC/ALC!

I think for the right reader, this book would be a hit, but unfortunately, it wasn't for me.
I enjoyed Sirena's chapters a lot more than Gus's, and really enjoyed the sister dynamic. The small-town vibe was very cute, and this is the perfect cozy fall read for the right audience.
I found it very hard to connect with the characters, and the backstory felt forced, rather than woven into the story. Almost like 'here's a thing you need to know. And another thing. Oh and this thing' rather than making it feel organic.
All that said, I would happily try another book from this author, because I see the potential for me to love it!
Thank you Hachette Audio and NetGalley for a copy of this audio book in exchange for an honest review.

Deja Brew by Celestine Martin
Sirena has been putting her life on hold but when she finds a wish tea in her cupboard, one her grandmother must have made, she makes a wish and goes back to the beginning of the month. Meeting Gus and their friendship blooming, Sirena realizes that her life wasn’t on hold, she was holding herself back.
So cute.. too cute. Omg it was so dang adorable. It’s the witchy romance I didn’t know I needed! Small town - check. Opposites -check. Soul mates with HEA.. check! It’s for all the fall romance you need. Well written, well paced and just perfect for any autumn day.
4 stars

what a cute romance.
i don t know why but it gave me " The Ex Hex " vibes, but better !
I loved these two !
Super recommend !!!!
Tysm for giving me the chance to read it .

Spice: 🌶️🌶️
Narration: 3/5 I loved the male narrator. I found myself zoning out to the female voice. I didn’t LOVE the narrators voicing the opposite sex though.
The goods: Cute fall romance. Kitchen witch, magician, hallmark vibes! This was a third book in a series, while I did feel like I was missing a little bit of context it also worked as a stand alone.
The bads:
Long chapters (I felt like a lot of details were repetitive).
I didn’t connect with any of the characters.

I absolutely love this trilogy! Just enough spice, spooky and fall vibes! I can’t wait to see what the next series will be.

Deja Brew was a cute, cozy fall read with a fun time-loop twist, but it took me a while to really get into it, maybe because I didn’t realize it was part of a series. While the romance between Sirena and Gus had its charm and the autumnal vibe was perfect, it didn’t completely grab me at first, though it ended up being an enjoyable lighthearted story for fans of magical rom-coms.

Deja Brew is a perfectly fun witchy read set in fall with just enough meat to the romance! I really enjoyed Sirena and how realistic and honest she felt. I think her story perfectly winded together with Gus's. I also love the female friendships in Celestine Martin's work!
I was so glad to receive an audio arc of Deja Brew! Gus's narration was so spot on! Thank you so much to the publisher for granting me access!

I wanted to love this one but it missed the mark for me.
I loved a lot about Deja Brew…the small town, the characters were great. I loved all the witchy fall vibes.
What didn’t work for me was the magic of the story. It was almost an afterthought. And I didn’t buy the soulmate storyline…it felt forced and I didn’t feel it with the characters’ emotions.
I did like the narration. And would recommend listening to Deja Brew if you’re interested in reading it.
Thanks to Netgalley and Hachette Audio for a copy of Deja Brew in exchange of an honest review.

"Deja Brew" by Celestine Martin is a delightful, witchy rom-com perfect for fall! I loved the strong, confident FMC and the nerdy professor MMC—they complemented each other so well. The male "witch" twist was a fun change from the usual dynamic, and their friends-to-lovers journey was sweet and magical. The story is cozy, smutty, and full of charm, ideal for October vibes. While I enjoyed the audiobook, I loved the female narrator for the FMC but didn’t think the male narrator was the best fit for the MMC. Overall, a fun and magical listen!

This was a fun October read but I wasn’t super invested in the characters. The town gave Halloweentown vibes but I wanted more of it
