Great resource to have when reading the book and discussing it with others. I'm hoping to get more people who have read it so that I can hear the interpretation that other people have and what else they got from the book.

An incredibly complete kit! Great discussion questions for the book club, it also included an interview with the author, featuring questions that I know would come up during our discussions.
There were printable bookmarks, food suggestions related to the book (immersion is everything!), a link to a themed playlist, a quiz and a word search, and even recommendations for other books, movies, and series.
This was my first experience with one of these published kits, and I’m absolutely thrilled!

This is an awesome kit with a guide on how to create a book club around the novel, Children of Blood and Bone, by Tomi Adeyemi. I've always wanted to add this to my speculative fiction book club unit, but I didn't know how until now. I think this is a great guide in what this book has to offer, and how to adapt it to different readers. I will definitely be using this in my classroom!

Great resource for people reading Children Of Blood And Bone. I haven’t read it yet (it’s on my tbr), so I can’t say if, for example, all the necessary content warnings were listed at the content warning section. I have mixed feelings about the content warning section having a link to StoryGraph (“for a full list of reader-submitted content warnings visit The StoryGraph”), I get it but also it felt a bit weird. But I’m glad at least some of the CW were listed in the kit itself.

The author interview was nice and gave some insight into the writing process, inspiration, etc.

The discussion questions for book club were good and felt like something that would make you think about the characters, their motivations, etc.

I personally love collecting bookmarks so the printable bookmarks were a nice touch. Also liked having book-themed drinks and snacks listed. I personally would have preferred the recipes to be written in the book itself instead of link to a website, but that’s just a personal preference.

The playlist was great and I loved how it had the songs listed and also a Spotify link. The quiz and word search were fun little activities. I personally wouldn’t put the answer key to the word search right next to the search, and instead have it on the back of the book, for example on the last page, then you wouldn’t accidentally see the answers right away.

The what to read next section was a nice idea. I personally would have highlighted some indie authors too instead of just huge, well known traditionally published authors.

About the author section and highlighting the author’s other books was a nice addition to the end.

I'm planning to read this series next month and was looking up guides to help me think about and process the story more. I came across this book club kit and it is absolutely wonderful.

I love the interview with the author to give us a little more insight into their thought process and work behind the story. The discussion questions are perfect, exactly what I was hoping to find before reading the series.

The rest of the kit is just so much more fun than I had expected! Beautiful bookmarks, food and drink recipes, a playlist, and even a quiz to find out which Maji clan you would be in. It makes the story feels so much more immersive and has me even more excited to get started reading.

This was an informational, emotional journey, filled with deep-rooted spiritualism and mysticism. The author gave a revealing and emotional interview about the foundation of this book. It was a captivating, enticing, and intriguing lure to this book.

Such a great kit. Can’t wait to read this book and utilize the kit for discussion points.i was able to print out the bookmarks and laminate them. If I could print them on a heavy card stock, that would be even better.

This is excellent! My coworkers and I have a book club and never really know what to discuss. We just say what we like or dislike. This is an impactful story with a great organization kit and ways to get readers inspired to discuss heavy topics.
