A social media handbook for ARC reviewers just starting out is genius. Thank you, once again! Covered topics pretty consistently.

NetGalley's Social Media Handbook is an absolutely fantastic and thoughtfully presented resource for those of us starting out our social media book review journeys. This handbook has tips and tricks not just on how to write a book review, but it has a fantastic by-platform breakdown with helpful checklists and etiquette dos and don'ts.

I was especially impressed with the hashtag tips and accessibility considerations - both of which I hadn't really thought about, but absolutely will do going forward!

This was helpful for someone who is getting started with reviewing ARCs from Netgalley. I liked that there were tips and suggestions on what to include in reviews, editing tips and photo tips. It would be helpful to know more about finding information on what the publisher wants. For example, I don't get acceptance emails from Read Now books, so I'm not sure where to find the review instructions from the publisher.

Overall, this was a helpful document.

This is a nice beginner's guide to the major social media platforms in the book community. I think it's helpful if you are looking for checklists to make sure you're not forgetting the basics, but if you're already active on these platforms and consuming content, I don't think you're going to learn anything new. It's a quick 35 pages so it can't hurt to skim, but to manage expectations, I think spending time on the platforms is probably the best way to learn and find your voice.

I found NetGalley’s Social Media Handbook to be a very handy quick-reference guide for starting a bookish account on social media. It covers the basics of most major platforms, and I would have found it incredibly useful during my first few weeks. I learned many of the same insights the hard way—through trial and error—so I truly wish I’d discovered this resource sooner!

That said, once you’re past the beginner stage, this probably won’t offer much new. If you're already experienced with social media—even if you're just now applying it to books—it may not add much to your knowledge.

All in all, I really appreciated finding this handbook.

I'll definitely be keeping this open and on hand as I continue to build on my strategies for increasing my social presence in the bookish channels.

I really enjoyed this handbook. I've been thinking about starting a BookTok account and I have a little used Bookstagram account, but this really helped to give me the 101 on each platform. They have a section about getting started on social media, book reviews and strategies for content planning photo tips, etc. If you're interested in starting a social media account based on books this is a great intro to help you get started.
