An excellent reference source for Netgalley users as they navigate leaving reviews and building their social media.

This guide was extremely helpful and provided all the information I would expect from a resource like this. I was pleased with the ease of navigating the topic from essential base knowledge, important tips and tricks, and additional resources for further education.
Even though I've been a book reviewer for several years, much of my knowledge has come from observation and trial and error. Having a guide like this to support my understanding and rely on when I feel overwhelmed is a great asset. I'm sure I'll reference this guide more than once in the future.
Thank you, We Are Bookish!

I am new to book blogging, even though I've been submitting reviews on GoodReads for years. This guide is so helpful for me in understanding to best to succeed with my blog, what to think about with all the various social media platforms, and inspired me to stay consistent with it!

Just what I needed to upgrade my posting! I wanted to branch out from Goodreads and this was a great resource..

Good handbook, helped me a lot to get my social media account going. Keep going NetGalley. Excited to explore your website!

Best for brand-new to the social media scene in every single way.
If you've had any exposure to social media, this probably isn't going to provide much help, truthfully.
If you are new, then you might find a few nuggets.
Also, this will 'hit' your reviewer ratio as it's not really a 'download' resource but a book to review by the NetGalley metrics. Wish they could find a way to make their own media an exception to the rule

I've been feeling quite overwhelmed with social media lately, but this helpful guide calmed me right away! Thank you for creating such emphatic and informative handbook

This has been super helpful so far! I recommend all new (and seasoned) reviewers who post on their socials to keep this handy. I'll definitely be referring back to it!

This brief how-to guide for utilizing social media for your book platform was quite helpful. While I know some of the basics this guide provided some very helpful tips that I will be using going forward for my bookstagram. If you want to take your social media from basic to wow I would definitely recommend you give this a read.

Really good and good information given absolutely loved this as it gave me a lot of ideas to take away to help boost my social media

This handbook has all the information you need in order start and maintain the various social media accounts. Although the information about Booktok was nothing new, since that is the platform I use most, the details about the other social media platforms will be useful if I decide to start a Bookstagram or Booktube. This is definitely a resource I intend to use again.

Clear, concise, and genuinely helpful-Handy,
The NetGalley Social Handbook is a fantastic guide for both new and experienced reviewers.
It’s packed with practical advice on how to build your presence, engage authentically, and make the most of your experience.
Whether you're just starting or want to refine your approach, this guide breaks it all down without being overwhelming.
A quick read with valuable insights for anyone looking to get the most out of their reviewing journey!
Thanks to NetGalley for providing such an insightful and useful resource!

A very practical handbook to kickstart your bookish social media journey! From covering which platforms you can use, getting-started guide, how to do a book review, and wider strategies, I find this guide to be thoughtfully crafted. The Content Planning Tips section, in particular, is brilliant, and the Canva tips are so new to me. Even if you have started your social media journey, it can be beneficial as well. For a 35-page, very visual handbook, I'd say it's really resourceful and worth reading.

I went into this resource thinking I would find information solely for those looking to grow the typical type of social media, but there is so much more! I do not currently have a Bookstagram or BookTok but am considering diving into to further expand on this newfound hobby. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find information/tips on posting to other platforms such as Goodreads and Story Graph. I am excited to use their guidance on creating a posting schedule and growing a platform. I appreciate the vote of confidence that it is ok to just focus on one platform - this is supposed to be fun! Thank you NetGalley!!

A great and easy to follow social media handbook. Each sections contains a decent amount of information and the PDF is beautifully illusrated.

There were some great tips in this handbook and I plan to use them to help with my content. I also liked the little breakdowns of each platform.

This handbook is a fantastic guide to engagement on social media and has given me confidence to get started. It is well personalised for all platforms, and has given me plenty of ideas to boost my accounts.

A clear, practical guide for anyone looking to boost their bookish presence online. NetGalley’s Social Media Handbook is especially helpful for new reviewers, authors, and book influencers, offering actionable tips on how to post effectively, engage with followers, and build a consistent voice across platforms. I appreciated the focus on authenticity and community, not just metrics. A quick but worthwhile read for anyone sharing their love of books online.
