A great guide for social media tips and strategies for bookish creators with great advice for all major platforms. A really helpful resource.

I appreciate all the help this Toolkit offered! I cannot wait to use it when writing reviews and promoting books.

ANyone who wishes to leverage social media in their bookish life will benefit from it.
The thing with social media is that the changes happen fast there so you need not just strategies but an aptitude and this resource will help you build it! Highly recommend, esp if you feel lost at where to start. I am gonna use it for my bookstagram.

I found this guide to be very helpful and informative. It is comprehensive without being overwhelming. It covered a lot of topics with a good overview ire, but then has links if you want to learn more about different topics.
I can see myself referring back to this document, especially if I want to start sharing reviews and content on different platforms.
A great resource!

I found some good tips in here. Some I plan to put in play immediately.. A good source if you want to level up your social media presence. A quick read, so do t miss this.

This is a great resource for book reviewers like myself that has reviewed a lot of books or even someone new to reviewing. The are tips for writing review and for posting them each of the different social media platforms.

This was so useful! It spoke about a wide range of social media platforms and suggested some editing websites like Canva. I might have a go at using canva rather than the current software I’m using. The guide uses photos to show ideas and suggestions of content to post. I hadn’t thought about using my tablet to show the audiobooks I’m listening to and will now use this idea. I also really liked how colourful and cheerful the guide is. I recommend all NetGalley readers give this guide a read.

NetGalley’s Social Media Handbook provides advice and actionable steps for reviewers of all kinds—whether reviewing on social media platforms like Instagram, on personal blogs, or on review platforms like Goodreads.
I found the layout to be very eye catching, and the content was easy to follow. I took a few nuggets away that will definitely help me in crafting my first NetGalley ARC reviews.
If you’re new to NetGalley, or to social media reviewing of books — give this guide a read!

As a new reviewer on social media, I found this a very useful tool.

A lot of good tips and reminders! I really liked the accessibility section, it's nice to see a focus on disabled people!

This is just what I needed. I was struggling with how to promote myself and this helped answer a lot of those questions. I'm excited to see where we go next!

If you're a bookish content creator or want to become one, this social media handbook is an amazing tool to use. It contains tons of great information to help you start an account on major social media platforms. Plus, it includes how to photograph, review tips, Canva tips, and so much more. I wish I knew about this handbook when I started my Bookstagram account a few months ago. It would have helped me tremendously to have all this information in one place. So I definitely recommend for new bookish content creators.

Great little Social Media Handbook for those just starting out.
It really helped with ideas and what to focus on and was just the nudge I needed to get me starting my own Bookstagram and restarting my Book Blog back up.
It was a quick read but very informative.

A very helpful and informative PDF I believe is good for everyone to give a read. I think for anyone starting out the fact that NetGalley has these handbooks available is something to be appreciated.

I am new to reviewing on social media platforms, so this was a wonderful and useful tool. I especially loved the links to more in depth articles depending on the review site, and Canva tips. Thank you for publishing this!

A cute and straightforward guide to Social media from the perspective of helping future book influencers. Even though this is for 2024, it is rather up to date with changes in the Social landscape (like including Twitter as X).

This Handbook was both helpful and visually appealing!
As a long-time book lover, short-time book reviewer, having a handbook to help guide my social media presence was imperative. There were tips and tricks included that I had never even considered. Some of the platform-specific information wasn't relevant to me as I focus on Instagram and GoodReads, but I'm still glad the information was available so other reviewers can benefit.
I anticipate flipping through these pages a few more times as I work to find my unique review style. Thank you for providing this information for newbies like me!
