If you have a wee one at home, or really anywhere near you, this book is sure to set you giggling as you go through your yarn stash comparing colors and yardage requirements. My bet is that some lucky toddler is going to have a warm and festive head in the very near future.

If you're sadly lacking little people in your life, there's a good chance that this book will still set you to giggling as you go through your yarn stash and begin the math necessary to convert the patterns to a larger head size.

Either way, you're going to have a great deal of fun!

There are some really cute baby hats in this book, and if you are looking for this sort of thing, here it is: adorable, themed baby hats that will enhance holiday photos and make parents gush. As cute hats go, they don't get much cuter than this.

This is a niche area that will have deep appeal to a certain type of grandmother, but the general public, even the general knitting public, not so much. Most of the projects require small amounts of several colors of yarn, and some use specialty yarns such as metallic, boucle, and eyelash yarn that would require either a large stash or a willingness to spend large amounts of cash and have lots of leftovers. Many of the hats have small knitted parts (stuffed hearts, birthday candles, shamrocks) that require a good bit of assembly.

Still, they are undeniably cute hats.

Such an adorable book! The hats in here are just too cute! A must have book if you're as knitter and you like to knit hats for babies. I bet you've never knitted hats like these before!

Adorable, easy to follow patterns. Most patterns are easy enough for a motivated beginner to work through...love them!
