This book is everything you could ever want in a holiday romance. It's full of humor, charm, and all the warm fuzzies of a Hallmark romance. However, it also has so much more to offer than that. It deals with serious issues such as PTSD from time in the military and stalking. It has couples who have realistic disagreements and can grow closer together because of it. It addresses the many struggles that arise when two people come together as a married couple. I am genuinely struggling to put into words how much heart there was in this book. I would recommend it to every single romance reader I know.

Thank you NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley and Dr. Melissa Dyamond for my advanced copy. These are my thoughts:

This was a fun romantic suspense romcom. The story is told in a dual POV, but by best friends - Gwen and Jenny, giving the reader a 2-for-1 romance story. This was a soft suspense romance, but when the culprit was found, my adrenaline rushed a little and I did not guess who the stalker was!

The story revolves around the two weeks leading up to Dr. Gwen and her famous actor fiancé - Caleb’s Christmas wedding.
While Gwen and Caleb’s relationship is tested; her best friend and journalist - Jenny, finds herself in a romantic conundrum with Caleb’s bodyguard - Dean.
While Gwen is away for a medical conference in Los Angeles, she will find that being married to a famous star might not be as easy as she thought. Add a blizzard, delayed flight and a stalker that seems impossible to find, will love conquer all for Gwen and Caleb by Christmas?
Meanwhile, in New York City, Jenny must find a way to get along with Dean and together catch the stalker before the big day. Add a blizzard to this already hot and cold relationship, and secrets and insecurities will come to the surface, but will it bring Jenny and Dean together or will they drift apart?

This was a sweet story, where insecurities are exposed; relationships are tested and characters stand up for what they want.
I loved that it was set in wintery New York City and it’s a nice read to get you into the holiday spirit.

Holiday Wedding can be found in two versions - sweet (no spice) & spicy.

This was an addicting read! I haven't read the first book, but there's enough exposition that I was able to catch up pretty quickly with the context clues. I adored the different view points, and the different couples. I was on the edge of my seat at times, questioning myself to whom the suspected villain could be. I was so surprised! I felt like the author knew exactly what she was doing with certain characters. This book had it all - charm, spice, and speed. I was able to devour the storyline and still connect to the characters on an emotional level.

I loved this story!!!!! Gwen and Caleb are adorably in love and I love seeing them as a cute couple, and a badass couple! and then Jenny and Dean are sooooo hot & spicy with each other, it’s like getting the best of both worlds between both these couples!!! I loved the dual pov from the women, the suspenseful tracking down of a stalker, the wedding shenanigans on top of all of this, this story just pulled me right in.

I love a good suspenseful romance, & this one is the whole treat! thank you for the arc!!!!

🩶Thank you Melissa Dymond and Haling Bookstorm, for this e-arc. I am leaving this honest review voluntarily. 🩶

I thoroughly enjoyed this holiday read. It has fun banter, lots of holiday cheer, and even a little mystery. One of the things I love most about Melissa's books is the fact that she has both a spicy and sweet version available, so if you don't want the spice you can opt for the sweet version.

This is the second book in the series, but can be read as a stand alone. I haven't read the first book yet, and was still able to keep up with the storyline. I loved that you got not one, but two love stories simultaneously and it was told from multiple points of view. Jenny and Dean's story was my favorite. It was sweet and fun with a little spice.

If you like grumpy/sunshine, enemies to lover, snowed in, and forced proximity you will enjoy this book. I look forward to reading the first book in the series next. If you are looking for a fun, light read that will help put you in the holiday spirit this book is for you.

A fantastic story with a perfect feel-good factor from the author who lets you choose if you want your romance sweet or spicy. Since my personal opinion is the more heat the better, you can guess which version I opted for. Continuing the story of a hero and heroine introduced in Holiday Star, Holiday Wedding finds Caleb and Gwen on the brink of wedded bliss but everything and everyone appears to be conspiring against them and their upcoming nuptials. From the bride, Gwen attending a medical conference on the other side of the country only days before saying I do to groom, Hollywood star Caleb attracting a stalker, even the weather isn’t on their side with a massive snowstorm grounding all flights into New York, anything that could go wrong does. Throw in Caleb’s battles with alcohol addiction and his fears of relapsing and Gwen’s fear of losing her identity, will love and determination be enough to get them up the aisle?

With Holiday Wedding readers get not one but two romances as Gwen’s best friend Jenny falls for bodyguard Dean who is reluctant to trust the journalist after she’d previously let slip something about Caleb, bringing an enemies to lovers’ trope to the book but they find common ground as they work together to make sure the big day goes smoothly. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this story considering Caleb and Gwen actually spend very little time together with a lot of their communication done via phone calls. Told from various points of view, there was a great flow to the writing with likeable and grounded characters and I enjoyed the hint of mystery with the stalker element and no, I didn’t figure out who the culprit was but overall this book was a great read for a rainy afternoon.

A spicy swoon worthy Christmas romance that is not a typical romance. Dr. Melissa Dimond does it again with a romantic suspense novel that entices the reader to keep reading.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you to NetGalley for sending me a copy to read.

This is the second book in the Holiday romance series but can be read as a stand alone.

This is the perfect holiday book to start the season off right! A perfect mix of romance, mystery, suspense and holiday magic.

Dr Melissa Dymond has done it again with another amazing book that had me captivated from the very first page. I loved the multiple POVs and how we got to see two different love stories.

I absolutely loved Gwen and watching her continue to fall in love with Caleb. While also see her navigating second hand famous. While Jenny her best friend was perfect! The banter between Jenny and Dean was chef kiss perfect!

I highly recommend this book for the Christmas season!

- One bed (!!)
- Grumpy / Sunshine
- He falls first
- Good Girl
- Snowed in
- Forced proximity
- Found family

Huge thank you to Dr Melissa Dymond, Victory Editing, & NetGalley for this ARC!

This was super cute! I love romantic suspense & this was a good one. Although it could have done with some more suspense!
This is book #2 of the authors Holiday Romance series & could easily be read as a standalone, like i did. I loved the tropes:
•One bed
•Enemies to lovers
•Movie star romance
•Body guard romance
Yes, this story took place during Christmas time it wasn’t much a Christmas story, which I didn’t mind at all.

A fantastic bit of spice for the holidays. An admittedly quick read, but I enjoyed the characters and their various plot lines.

4.5 Stars!

If you’re wanting a holiday romance that is full of suspense, winter vibes, and sweet or spicy moments, then this one is perfect for you! Melissa always draws me in with the perfect balance of romance and suspense. Holiday Wedding was a page turner for me. I needed to know how it ended.

“Don’t you know? Don’t you understand that when I walk into a room, you’re the one I see? When I sleep at night, it’s you dancing through my dreams. You are my past and my future. You are the only one for me.”

Gwen and Caleb’s wedding is only days away. Gwen is a doctor and Caleb is a celebrity. She’s been trying to adjust to the spotlight always being on them. Especially with a deranged fan that seems to be going to great lengths to threaten their relationship. She leaves to attend a conference when a snowstorm decides to hit. The stress of the wedding, the weather, and the threats weigh down on her and Caleb. Will all of it break them apart and cause the wedding to be canceled?

Jenny, Gwen’s best friend, finds herself snowed with her old nemesis. Dean also happens to be Caleb’s bodyguard. Having to be cordial with one another when work is involved is one thing but being stuck together is another. While they’re cooped up together in Gwen’s apartment the tension between them is practically burning. Will they be making it out of the storm as acquaintances or more?

“What do you want to call me?”
“Mine, I want to call you mine.”

Holiday Wedding has:
🎄 Winter vibes
✨ Suspense
🎄 Snowed in
✨ Found family
🎄 Grumpy X sunshine
✨ Celebrity X doctor
🎄 Sweet or spicy
✨ Dual pov
🎄 “Mine.” “Wife.”

Ps, it’s out now and available on KU!

Pps, Melissa always offers sweet or spicy versions of her books, and I love that you can choose!

So a few things I want to share that I didn't realize before reading this book, First this is a Book #2 in a series (it can be read as a stand-alone but I feel I would have gotten more out of it if I read Book #1 first and wish that I did) and Second there are two versions of this book a sweet one and then a spicy one. I got the spicy one and boy does it start off spicy right on page 1.
So this book is about the wedding of the main characters ( Gwen and Caleb, the couple from book 1 ) but there were a few other relationships (4, one is a mini-bonus love story with Alvina and Wayne and the other one is at the end of the book. not gonna give that one away ) involved and it felt like 2 books into 1. The 2nd main characters are Jenny and Dean. So much was happening and it was fantastic.
I like the story of Gwen and Caleb, BUT the real relationship that I loved was between Jenny and Dean.
This book is a Christmas-themed event and definitely a page-turner. There is love/romance, drama, mystery and some serious topics discussed as well.
I loved this book so much, and it was hard not to finish it all in one sitting but had to be an adult lol
There is sooo much to say about this book but cant because it will give away too much. You just have to go read it.

We do have a Grump and a Sunshine romance
Forced proximity
Holiday vibes

I can't wait to go back to read Book #1 (Holiday Star) to get some more background on the two of them and see all that I missed.
And I can't wait for the 3rd Book in this series comes out!!!!
Patiently waiting...... I have just turned into a fan of this author's work. :)

I am so grateful to have been gifted with the opportunity to read this ARC by Dr. Melissa Dymond through Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op.

I wanted to like this book but I do have to say I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would.

The stories about both couples were just weird to me. Especially the storyline between Jenny and Dean. One minute they are “enemies” and in the most quickest second they were together. There was not enough “foreplay” so to speak. The banter between them was neither witty or flirty or appealing enough for me.

The story of Gwen and Caleb was like a Hallmark holiday mystery with a tiny sprinkle of spice.

I can see some people enjoying this book. I, just personally, did not connect to it. But bravo to the author for her hard work in putting her imagination down on pen and paper and sharing it with the masses!

The perfect book for the winter and Christmas time! I loved it so so much and will definitely be reading again before Christmas

A wonderful, sweet, melts-your-heart-down, touching romance. Even though the main story was based on Gwen & Caleb's relationship, I liked how the author narrated Jenny & Dean's story in parallel. The geo-tagging part felt a little weak compared to the built-up given to the stalker but it wasn't bad. There were a lot of sweet moments which when mixed with the holiday vibes, turned very sweet. Going with a 4-star. Good job by the author.

We follow two storylines from two POV, Gwen, the resident medico engaged to uber celebrity, Caleb, in the lead up to their Christmas Eve nuptials. Of which in the most unBridezilla fashion, Gwen leaves the majority of organisation to her fiancé, her MIL to be and mother while she attends a medical conference in California, to deliver successful findings on bowel cancer screening.

Our secondary POV is Jenny, Gwen's effervescent journalist BFF, as she tags along in New York City ostensibly to write a series on Caleb whilst navigating the space with grumpy bodyguard, Dean.

Holiday Wedding falls into a super-cute light and easy contemporary romance read with a sprinkle of spice and a dash of suspense. nb. spicy version : spice count included four open door throughout book. Holiday Wedding is a connected Book 2 following on from Holiday Star. I did not however, read Holiday Star first, which is Gwen and Caleb's origin story, and I am confident this stands on its own merits.

Time with Jenny and Dean were my favourite chapters despite what felt like an over use of the juvenile "my lady part's' by Jenny's character. I loved, love, loved these characters. I would have liked more of Jenny's body image conversation and Dean's PTSD storyline felt wrapped up a little too neatly but beyond that, they stole the book.

My only complaints lie in that the use of miscommunication, or lack of communication between characters who would otherwise "talk it out" felt contrived. The author is adept at weaving in a mysterious and suspenseful subplot for the characters. It is a clever way to build tension adjacent to the main cast. The underlying stalker angle isn't overly sinister, it is clear the unidentified bad-guy is out there trying to derail the HEA. There's plenty of Christmas snow in New York City, which for an Aussie, is delightful to read. The being snowed in or, having domestic transport services come to a grinding halt, notwithstanding.

Another reliable story from Dr Melissa Dymond. I look forward to Helen and Teddy's story next year.
I received a prepublication eARC to read from the author and NetGalley. All opinions thoughts and are my own.

Melissa Dymond never disappoints! This book is a perfect mix of suspense and romance.
Once I picked this book up, I wasn't able to put it down. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time because of the thriller and suspence. It also has so many cute and funny scenes which had me smiling like hell to myself. Overall, it's such a well-written and awesome book! MUST READ
