This was enjoyable if not slightly clunky. It is fun and kept my attention engaged but the plot needed a little fleshing out in my opinion and then the plot twists and the suspense would have hit a little harder.

I reallly tried to love this one, it had everything I was looking for. Murder mystery, wedding, romance, secrets, danger, but I just couldn’t get into it. The back and forth pov at the beginning between the two main female main characters was so confusing to follow it basically ruined the whole premise for me, I ended up skimming the last 30% and really didn’t feel like anything even jumped out at me. I hope this is someone else’s cup of tea because it just didn’t do it for me, sadly.

3.5/5 ⭐️
The beginning of this book felt like it went on forever, but the ending was PERFECT! Gwen and Caleb were such a cute couple but I loved how the story didn't revolve around only them. Two other relationships were blooming and Gwen and Caleb's stories were more about them professionally plus their wedding.

I adored this book and absolutely love Melissa Dymind’s writing. I also really appreciate the fact she offers spice and no spice versions of her books. This book offers a cozy love story, mystery, and some tension between rivals. Don’t forget the holiday spirit!
This book is also a twofer because you get 2 couples stories which you don’t find a lot in books. Melissa wrote these so well you can’t stop reading. I highly recommend!

Melissa’s books never fail to entertain me. I love that they’re a good mix of Rom com and suspense. You never quite expect the drama that ensues and I think that’s brilliant 🤩

Holiday Weddings follows 2 parallel love stories. Gwen and Caleb from Holiday Star prepare for a Christmas Eve wedding. Meanwhile, Gwen's best friend Jenny and Calebs bodyguard are embarking on their own love journey. The author blends humor with emotion and suspense.

***Five Stars***
Even though we did have HEA in Holiday Star we get even more in Holiday Wedding. This one follows not just Gwen and Caleb on their journey to the wedding but also Jenny (Gwen's BFF) and Dean (Caleb's bodyguard).
Gwen and Caleb have set the date and are so excited to get to their wedding. Secrets are revealed though, in the form of a stalker and stalking website. Who is running the site and how unhinged are they? Everyone is keeping the wedding date and details under wraps but will the secret keep until they reach the altar? Will a snowstorm ruin everything? How about a kidnapping? WHO is the stalker?!
Jenny and Caleb get snowed in together and feelings are realized but of course it isn't that easy. Caleb has demons and PTSD from his military time. Can they work through it and find trust in each other?
I enjoyed this one a lot! It was engaging throughout. I highly recommend this one. It CAN be read as a standalone but why would you?!
I loved the narrators, they did a great job!
Thank you to NetGalley, Victory Editing NetGalley Co-Op, and the author for the opportunity to read and review this audio version of Holiday Wedding.

I was quite surprisingly hooked from Page one of Holiday Wedding! This book was a quick, easy read and had me giggling and kicking my feet throughout! It is festive and perfect for the Holiday season. I’ll definitely be ordering a physical copy and doing a reread around Christmastime this year!
Thank you to Dr. Melissa Dymond and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for the eARC in exchange for my honest review

This was my first SPICY holiday ever, and it definitely took the cake. No pun intended.
Holiday Wedding ★★★★☆ on the spice. 3 stars overall.. It was the perfect mix of cozy romance and suspense. Gwen and Caleb are planning their wedding, but between a blizzard and a stalker, things get chaotic fast. Meanwhile, Gwen’s best friend Jenny has her own slow-burn romance with Caleb’s grumpy bodyguard. The dual perspectives kept things fun, and the holiday vibes made it extra charming. If you love romance with a little mystery, this one’s a great festive read!

Absolutely fantastic book from start to finish!
Beautifully written and I was hooked !!
Cute read !!

This book was cute time, while it didn’t do anything new but it did do the standards very well. Definitely worth checking out.

Holiday Wedding was so fun! I loved multiple POV and seeing relationships develop! I love a Christmas book with high stakes like this one!

Loved cozing up and reading this book during the holidays. It was a great mix between romance, suspense and holiday cheer. Can’t wait to read more of Melissa’s books.

Look no further for the perfect suspenseful holiday read fellow book babes, Melissa has done it once again! I had the pleasure of meeting Melissa when I joined her street team for Paging Dr. Hart and l'm so grateful that I stayed on for Holiday Wedding. I'm a forever member of her street teams, she can never get rid of me now. Not only is she an amazing person, her books are the best and always deliver on beautifully written characters, spice, humor, suspense, playful banter, and sweetness! And if spice isn't your thing? No worries, all of Melissa's books come in both sweet AND spicy versions so everyone can read and enjoy!
Caleb and Gwen were so lovable and even though I didn't read Holiday Star (the first book), I still felt so connected to them both. Caleb is a huge celebrity from New York who has thousands of adoring fans. He's a musician, actor, and model who has been in the spotlight practically his entire life, so he's no stranger to fame and everything it brings. Gwen on the other hand has not been acquainted with the celebrity life. She's a doctor from California who cares deeply about her career and helping those in need. Even though both Caleb and Gwen come from completely different lives and face immense challenges and obstacles (cue the crazy stalkers, rude "fans", crazy weather, and wedding preparations), their love for each other comes first always.
And Jenny and Dean...JENNY AND DEAN! These two had my heart. Watching the candy loving sunshine journalist that is Jenny melt the icy exterior of broody grumpy bodyguard Dean was simply everything. Plus the tension and spice between these two?? Yes please! I adored getting to know both of them individually and eventually as a couple.
The holiday magic, suspense, sweetness, and spiciness is fully delivering here!

Such a cute and fun holiday read!! Melissa's and incredible person and an amazing writer and I love her books!
They're the perfect mix of romance, suspense, sweetness, spiciness, fun, humor and heartbreak.
The way she writes her characters, so real and raw!! Love it and also hate some stuff Jenny and Dean had to go through🥺
I hadn't read the first book of the series prior to this one but i'll definitely be doing it soon!!
Thank you Melissa for the ARC!

The perfect mix of romance, mystery, and Christmas spirit ❤️🎄
I’m usually not one for romance novels, but Dr. Melissa Dymond does such a good job of combining romance with just a touch of that thriller vibe 🤌🏻
I love dual POVs and this one was fun switching back and forth between the FMCs. We are already familiar with Gwen, so it’s easy to slip back into her perspective. But then we also get a spicy new POV with Jenny and I thought the balance between them was just right.
This book is a sequel to Holiday Star, and you definitely benefit from having read it with character backstories, but it works well as a stand alone too!
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Dr. Melissa Dymond for this ARC!

What a GREAT holiday romance!
I was especially grateful that Dr. Melissa Dymond offers this book in both spicy/sweet & clean versions. I find this especially respectful to all kinds of readers and each individual person's likes.
The dual POV gave this story depth and I enjoyed both plot lines. The chemistry and banter was ON POINT!
What a great book to grab and cozy up with! Will definitely be reading more from this author!

I only made it a few chapters in but it just wasn't my vibe. I did enjoy how the author was very descriptive and the spice was definitely spicy. I'll probably try to give it another reread in a month or so to see if I have a different opinion!

Spicy holiday fun with a little thriller thrown in. Perfect for fans who are looking for a story about the holidays, weddings, or different points of view. Take a break from your holiday to-do list and enjoy this book with your favorite beverage.

I haven't read the first book in the series but I don't think it impacted on this story at all.
I would have preferred to a dual POV from Jenny and Dean's perspectives as opposed to Jenny and Gwen's as I was more invested in Jenny and Dean. Gwen already had her story and her happy ever after so it didn't seem necessary to then have more of it in this book as well.
I'm looking forward to book 3 with Helen and Teddy. I think it'll be a bit more distanced from Gwen and Caleb with them living in New York and Teddy in LA.
I think the story really only needed on disaster - either the snowstorm or the kidnapping alongside the stalker but it didn't really need both. It just felt like too much all at once after things progressing fairly steadily until that point. I think more should have happened with Jenny's boss (and ex) Eddie after they realised he'd stolen information from her phone.
It was a cute Christmas story though and the spice was a little on the lighter side for me personally, but for those that don't enjoy spice there is a closed door version as well.
Thanks to NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.
