YES, Finlay Donovan is back and she is better than ever! Every book that Elle Cosimano writes in this series is just fantastic. The humor, the outlandish things she gets herself into are simply only a few of the beautiful things that this book brings to audiences. I always recommend these books to so many colleagues, friends and family that they are probably tired of me talking about her. Amazing fun books that are perfect for today's crazy world. Yes, please write more of them!!!!

I keep waiting for the Finlay Donovan series to get old and it just isn’t happening. Finlay is one of the most funny and endearing characters I’ve ever read. I love seeing what trouble she and Vero have gotten themselves into. This time it’s the discovery of a dead body in the nosy neighbors yard. There’s a great refresher in the book for those of us who don’t remember everything from the first books to those that are new to the series. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this series!

This is the first book of this series i have read. It was a little predictable but had good characters and was a enjoyable read. I will be looking into the others in thie series. Thank you to the publisher for allowing me to read this early.

She's back! This is the fifth Finlay Donovan novel. And I think it's my favorite since the first.

We're back with Finlay, Vero, and all their crime solving antics. I think this series works best in order because we get lots of cameos from previous characters, and it helps to know who they are. I loved the way some long running story arcs were revealed.

And the ending set up something really interesting for where we go next. I'm thrilled to feel the series is back in the groove that made me love it. It feels like a mom who gets caught up in a mystery through no fault of her own. And I enjoy that feeling of it could happen to me.

This is a romance/comedy/mystery that does all the quite well, which is exceptionally hard to do! This is my second book in this series, but I look forward to enjoying the rest soon. Perfect read for the beach or spring break trip!

I have always enjoyed Finlay and Vero’s shenanigans. The last book has been so all over the place and this has toned down a little and yet still keeping all the cozy mystery and side dish romance alive. I enjoyed it! I also have to admit that some parts are getting old and adding more characters to the mix simply not helping my case. However, its still funny and worth the read.

This is the fifth installment of the murder mystery series and definitely a fun one. I'd say 4 shiny stars for sure! Synopsis will be in the comments below.

If you've been following along with Finlay you can be assured that the formula hasn't changed. Crazy antics, partners in crime, mom-life and romance drama are all on the menu. This is one of a select few series that I'm always excited for. And it did not disappoint.Is the plot a little unbelievable? Sure, but that's been part of the magic of this series. So if you've read the others, definitely don't skip out here. Finlay is still killing it.

These books were so great I flew through them. Loved all the characters, even the slimy ex-husband. These books have you reading nonstop and then wondering what else they could get up to in the next book.

Another great Finlay novel! I really enjoyed this one so much! Mrs. Haggerty plays such a big part in this one! So much neighborhood drama!

Finlay and Vera are at it again! This time to save her ex husband from prison. This was wild. I loved seeing the mosey neighbors too! The book club was so clever!

Great ending. Makes me want to read the next one. Kind of a slow start… could’ve been a little faster paced. But great book. Thanks for the ARC copy.

The 5th installment of Finlay Donovan series by @ellecosimano is here! I was so excited to get an ARC of this book. I have loved this series since the very first book and book 5– FINLAY DONOVAN DIGS HER OWN GRAVE — might be my favorite!

As always, Finlay and Vero are trying to keep themselves out of trouble but find themselves in the center of it instead. After Finlay’s neighbor, Mrs. Haggerty, is cleared of murdering the man found in her garden, she has to stay with Finlay for a bit. I absolutely loved Mrs. Haggerty in this one. For Finlay & Nick fans, don’t worry— Nick is still there and loved where this book took them.

This book would be best reading all of the previous books first, but I feel like it could possibly work as a standalone being it’s a new adventure and the author gives explanations of who the characters are. It’s just much funnier if you know all of their past exploits. Thank you @minotaur_books for this copy!

This Finlay Donovan book might be my favorite! Finlay's ex-husband is accused of murder. She and Vero have to prove his innocence, even though he's a truly awful guy. Like the others, this book is laugh out loud funny and a great mystery. I love all of the women helping each other out. A great read.

Just another Finlay Donovan read! 3.5 stars. Perfect for book clubs seeking a higher purpose, and for those looking for a fun palate cleanser between bigger reads. The addition of Mrs. Haggerty to the tale is *chef's kiss*. Not a huge fan of the "protect thy cheating ex-husband" plot line, but the comic relief made up for it.

Now this one was my favorite! Finlay’s nosey, annoying senior, next door neighbor Mrs Haggerty gets arrested and once she gets out, ends up moving in. Finlay’s ex-husband is the next suspect for the dead body found in Mrs Haggerty’s backyard. While trying to prove her ex’s innocence, Finlay discovers a very interesting secret, that ties into the first book. This one was unexpected and the best plot of the series.

Finlay Donovan - you've stolen my heart! I love Finlay and Vero's shenanigans. I love all the well developed characters and even though all the books follow a similar structure they are equally compelling and fun. I love the heart added to all of the characters in these fun, page-turner books. I will come back to these time and time again!

Finlay Donovan returns with the latest book in the series from Elle Cosimano. The reader finally gets to know nosy neighbor Mrs. Haggerty, gets to get further acquainted with family and friends, and readers can really get into the action without an excessive amount of mayhem.

I definitely enjoyed this book more than the last few in the series. The mystery was more straightforward which allowed for some better character development of people we already know. Mrs. Haggerty got a chance to stand out and had a good tie in to some older characters. I’m looking forward to Vero getting her story tied up in the next book but feel like the series might be running it course.

I’ve loved everything in the Finlay Donovan series and this book is no exception. The relationships and comedy continue to blend effortlessly with thrills and Hijinks. Love this series!

While I enjoyed Finlay's foray to Atlantic City, I was glad to see her back home again and investigating a body in a neighbor's backyard. Fans of romance will also be pleased that book four in this series turns up the heat on the romance. Super fun, but of course has that cliffhanger ending, setting up the next book!
