I still continue to be Finlay Donovan’s biggest fan! These books are such a fun escape for me and bringing in Mrs Haggerty and her characters development *chefs kiss* can’t wait for the next one!

I have enjoyed reading all the adventures of Finlay and Vero, but this book felt more formulaic and farther-fetched than the first few. On the positive side, I appreciated the slapstick nature of Finlay's break-in at the apartment complex, and I was pleased with the ending, which offers perhaps a change in plotline that will align Finlay and Nick, rather than continue the lies about her past.

I had almost given up on this series. I found the last few books to be too eye-rolling. I'm glad I didn't. This was reminiscent of the first book and brought back everything I loved. Was it still ridiculous? Yes, but in a way that was funny rather than annoying. I like that the setting was back in town and at Finlay's house/neighborhood. I am happily ready for the next adventure!

I really enjoyed this book and found it very engaging. I liked the mystery within this book and founf it equally as funny as the other books in the series.

I love Finaly! This one felt a little bit repetitive to the previous books in the series, but I have a feeling there is another book coming in the future as there are still some unanswered questions. I think if you love the Finlay series you will enjoy this - but I think it might be time for a new main character and a new series.

The audiobook suprised me by saying Chaudry the proper way. I don’t hear my husband’s name very often in books. Oh my gosh I love it. There is so much suspense and craziness. Nick let slip that he’s in love with Finlay. I love it when he falls first…seems more genuine and real. Plus Fin deserves a real, loving, nurturing relationship outside of Vero. And the cliffhanger for Vero at the end. Hopefully this means we are getting more Vero books. I am so ready for the next one!

Finaly Donovan is a character that I will always gravitate towards. You know you’re going to get whit, humor, and a whole lot of “noo! What are you thinking?!” But never in the annoying way because you know it will resolve itself so beautifully.

I grabbed this one when the whole series was avaailable for read now and i need to remind myself that this series just isnt my favorite. I try all the books but never can get into them

I was so grateful to have received an ARC of this book from St. Martin’s Press and NetGalley. It may have taken me longer to start than I planned, but once I finally sat down with it, I couldn’t put it down.

I truly love this series and can’t wait to see how more of the story unfolds. Elle Cosimano is easily one of my favorite authors. Her writing is sharp, funny, and fast-paced—but what really keeps me coming back are the characters. Finlay and Vero are chaotic, relatable, and loyal in a way that makes you want to root for them through every ridiculous (and sometimes dangerous) situation they stumble into.

If you haven’t started the Finlay Donovan series yet, I highly recommend picking it up—especially if you enjoy stories about smart, messy women, accidental crime-solving, laugh-out-loud moments, and friendships that somehow survive the chaos. This one does not disappoint.

This book was such a fun read!!! Truly every book in the series is a joy and makes me laugh out loud! If you grew up loving Nancy Drew and Babysitter’s Club, these books are for you!

This series is so silly and fun, but I think it's starting to jump the shark. I have incredible suspension of disbelief, but even I am struggling at this point.

Another fast and fun Finlay adventure with plenty of character growth and relationship development! This series just gets better and better.

Dangerous situations? Check. Absurd banter? Check. Complex and Flawed Characters you can't help but Love? Of course! Finlay, Vero, Nick, Cam, Stephen and now Mrs. Haggarty (the nosy lady next door) are dragged into a murder investigation when a body turns up buried in Mrs. Haggarty's backyard and Stephen is the prime suspect.

I devoured this book in 6 hours, I just couldn't put it down! Cosimano's pacing is brilliant. Talk about the perfect beach read or fun palette cleanser after a hard dramatic read! Cosimano has created the perfect blend of mystery, romance and humor in this series and an unlikely badass heroine for all-time in Finlay. Binge the whole series now!

Where in the last book I was bored, this one was a lot of fun. I love Mrs. Haggerty and the plot of this one was actually interesting. I think this one saved the series for me, truthfully.

Finlay is back again for more shenanigans after the body of a missing man is unearthed in her neighbor's yard. She ends up with Mrs. Haggerty living with her, which an issue of its own, when her ex-husband becomes the prime suspect in the death of the body. She knows he is innocent so sets out with Vero to find the real culprit.

Another fun installment in this series! We got a lot of good side character development here, and I love that Mrs. Haggerty was not just a mean busybody here. We also get some progress with Finlay and Nick's relationship, especially toward the end. I am intrigued to see where the next book goes. If you have liked others in this series, you will definitely like this one! If you have not read any, then you definitely need to start from the. beginning. This is not really a series you can pick up a few books in otherwise a lot of backstory and context will be lost. That being said, they are super easy to read!

I'm a Finlay Donovan fan. The books have a great humor and I'm always surprised with the poot twists. Vero and Finlay are a really fun version of Thelma and Louise. I found I enjoyed this better than the prior Finlay book. Cannot wait for book #6!

The chaos is back but not as insane this go around. Finlay and Vero are still getting themselves into their sticky situations but it is Mrs. Haggerty's time to shine in this installment.
This wasn't my favorite only because I felt I knew what was going on from the beginning whereas all the other novels I truly had no idea what Elle was going to throw at me. This one was a bit more predictable.

This doesn't mean it wasn't good though. I still laughed, scrunched my nose, yelled at the audiobook, and swooned at Nick. I will always pick these books up, well listen to the audiobooks because I absolutely love them! And the way this one ended...... ummm I need the next one soon please.

All in all just still a solid series that never fails to make me smile, laugh and say what the ...

I sincerely enjoy all the Finley Donovan mysteries. Not only is it thrilling suspenseful but it is definitely funny throughout. I can't get enough of the characters along with mysteries we need to solve and laugh about. I highly recommend this title. The author should continue on brings more to this series. Maybe more love I treats and friendships along the way?
