Jane is the kind of chaotic, delusional main character I live for—equal parts hilarious and terrifying. So Happy Together is a sharp, satirical take on obsessive love, ambition, and the lies we tell ourselves (and everyone else). Think You meets a very unhinged rom-com. No jaw-dropping twists here, just a slow unraveling of one woman’s perfectly spiraling breakdown—and I was so here for it. Olivia Worley serves up sass, drama, and just the right amount of darkness.
Thank you Olivia Worley, St. Martin's Press, Macmillan Audio, and Netgalley for the advanced copy!

This was a fun read! I wasn't really sure what to expect when reading the description, but even if I had an inkling this story actually blew it out of the water. I never heard of Olivia Worley before this book but I will definitely be looking into her other books after reading it. I love how creepy and delusional Jane was, and how she was so obsessed over what seemed like the most boring man ever. But unfortunately that's not so farfetched! Zoe was a great addition; I found myself hating her when she was introduced because who is this girl, taking Jane's man? But then it was hard NOT to love her, how sweet and inclusive she was with Jane and how perfect, but still very human, she was. I LOVED the twist at the end. Almost like several twists depending on how you look at it.
It's been a while since I read a book so quickly...I finished this in less than 24 hours AND I'm in the middle of finals, so that should say something!!

It had a slow start, but really picked up halfway through. The characters were diverse, unique, and kept me hooked. The story was different in the best way—intriguing, full of twists and turns that kept me guessing. Overall, a really great read! If you're a fan of Frieda McFadden, you'll definitely enjoy Olivia Worley's writing too.

It was just six dates—but Jane knows they’re meant to be. Too bad Colin’s moved on. And too bad Jane’s not letting go.
📚 Reasons to Read So Happy Together
A rom-com thriller – It starts with swipes and flirty banter, but quickly spirals into obsession, lies, and murder.
Unreliable narrator – Jane’s voice is charming, delusional, and utterly untrustworthy… in the best way.
Twisted love triangle – It’s not just about heartbreak—it’s about secrets that could destroy all three lives.
Obsession and identity – It captures dating in the digital age, toxic comparisons, and how easy it is to lose yourself trying to win someone else.
This book kind of morphs from something I kind of expected to something I didn’t expect, and then some. You don’t necessarily like that Jane is stalking her ex but you also don’t understand why he so abruptly breaks it off and lies to everyone in the process. You spend a lot of time weeding through the stories and explanations and suspecting everyone. But it was such a fast paced enjoyable ride. I really couldn’t put it down.

Thank you NetGalley for the ebook arc. I will say that this book blew me away. It started off with me thinking that this book is about a jealous and obsessed girl trying to get he ex back and break him up his current relationship. The twist and turns that this book took kept me guessing what was going to happen next.
She ends up running into her ex’s girlfriend and gets invited to a party, and befriending her ex’s girlfriend and his current friends. As time goes on she discovers that he killed and old ex girlfriend so her and her new friend try to solve the murder and get him to confess. The ending of this book just had my jaw on the floor. I would highly recommend to anyone who loves murder mysteries.

So Happy Together would easily merit the title So Creepy Together as author Olivia Worley has created a creepy story with creepy characters. Don't get me wrong, she does a great job of it and it makes for an interesting read...as long as you can stomach it. Lies, deceit, murder. You don't know whom to believe!
Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

What to say about "So Happy Together"? Never have an asshole, a sociopath and a psychopath deserved each other more than Colin, Jane and Zoe. It's actually too bad they didn't all survive to be a demented murder throuple, just doing murder and sex and art and whatnot.
So, this book is exhausting. Jane is exhausting. I've never wanted to reach through the pages and SHAKE a character more than Jane. I should have known when she consistently referred to Zoe and herself as "girls", like they were small children or something. And to give some character shading here, maybe she is still stuck at the point of her childhood trauma emotionally and psychologically... that would certainly explain her inability to process Colin's CLEAR lack of interest in her. I think many people have had that early experience of feeling like someone dumped us because they just "felt too much and got scared". Then we realize that this is a story we tell ourselves to soften the blow of rejection. Many of us have experienced a relationship where we are INTO someone who is just lukewarm about us, or had to make do with crumbs of attention from the object of our affection. But Colin and Jane weren't together... they went on 6 dates in 2 months, not even one a week. They had sex once, he broke it off and quickly started dating someone else. No mixed signals to be found.
Jane is fixated on him and convinces herself that his blatant rejection is a cover story for his Big Feelings of Love. She internet stalks his new girlfriend, then insinuates herself into Zoe's life in an effort to maintain contact with him. Even after she becomes genuinely interested in a friendship with Zoe, she's all "Zoe who" when Colin pays her the tiniest bit of attention. COLIN. He's mayonnaise-on-white-bread, a standard-issue fuckboy.
Then we're suddenly dropped into the plot of Neil LaBute's "The Shape of Things" at Zoe's gallery show what follows is a downward spiral of ridiculousness until the very end, when multiple people are dead and the two worst characters emerge "victorious".
I appreciate NetGalley and the publisher for access to a digital ARC. My honest review is my own opinion.

Tedious. Badly sketched characters, borderline unreadable. An absolute waste of a couple of hours of my life. Would rate it zero stars if possible.

3.5 stars. the characters were fun and for like 60% the plot was good. honestly i think this one was most weakened by the twists, which were generally meh and kinda predictable. i would have definitely liked it better with a better twist, or honestly even with no real twist. tysm for the arc.

This is the third book that I have read from Olivia Worley, and I will DEFINITELY continue reading her books!! (I actually have Final Cut as an ARC and can't wait to read!!!)
The author does a great job at creating morally gray characters. She makes me question whether I like a character or if I am rooting for their downfall throughout the entire book. I think that the characters were all different enough to keep them separate, and there wasn't too large of a cast.
She does a great job with a sense of setting. I knew where I was supposed to be throughout the entire book.
Something I LOVE, is a quick read. And this book hit the nail on the head. I read about 85% of the book in one day. Once I got into it, I refused to put the book down.
I thought that the flow of the story was amazing. It kept my interest at a great level.
The "twist" moments were perfectly timed and laid out throughout the book.
I did figure out the reveal a little early on. But that didn't stop me from reading or wanting to know how the author was going to tie it all together.
Check out this book if:
- You are obsessed with Love Quinn (You season 2 & 3)
- You love a quick paced thriller
- You support women's rights and wrongs
Thank you to Minotaur Books and NetGalley for an eARC of this book!

Three and a half stars.
I received an ARC from NetGalley (this title publishes in June). As someone who appreciates twists and turns, this one did have a few surprises that I didn’t guess. Some parts of the book were cringe (but cringe in a way that I can appreciate). Her obsession with the “boy who got away” and his new girlfriend…had me cringe reading, but I couldn’t stop.

Modern day Shakespeare characters in this twisty obsessed love story.
This is the third Olivia Worley title I’ve read and I continue to like her mystery writing style. She does a good job of writing morally grey characters that you aren’t sure if you want to root for them or not. In this book we have an obsessive FMC trying to worm her way back into her ex’s life, telling herself that she’s perfect for him. She ends up befriending his current girlfriend as a way to get closer to him and soon we start to learn more about their pasts.
I thought the overall pacing of the book was good, and little mysteries popping up to figure out as we go. I liked the parallels with Hamlet and I really enjoyed the performance scene at the end with Jane’s rewrite of Hamlet and Ophelia. Worley’s books always have some kind of commentary on a relevant social issue through her characters and this one was no different.
Where this book lost a star for me was the ending and the final reveal and wrap up. I felt like it came and went all too quickly and didn’t fully explain everything for me. I ended up with a couple more questions that I thought would be answered, but weren’t really. The story so far had done a good job building up to this final scene and in the end it just felt like it was resolved too quickly in proportion to how much story had been building to it.
That being said, I do have a couple of things that I’m dying to discuss so I can’t wait for this to be published and hopefully have a few discussions about the characters and the character development
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s press for the ARC.

I love suspensful romance with a thrilling aspect. This book gave me Joe Golberg vibes. I really enjoyed this read. Definitely recommend.

Obsessed much. But such a good book. Loved it so much thank you for letting me read in advance. I couldn't put it down all night long.

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for offering me an advanced opportunity to read “So Happy Together” in exchange for an honest review.
This book gave me all the “you” tv show vibes, but from a female perspective.
I found the storyline to be intriguing even though none of the characters were very likable per se, but I think this was an opportunity to point out that we all have character flaws & nuances that make us unique. It also points to that some of our darkest shadows have their reasons for existing and generally, it is to protect us.
I didn’t find it to be easy to pin down who the culprit was. Every single time that I was sure it was the boyfriend, I was proven wrong.
I would recommend this to anyone who loves a good psychological thriller/who did it?

So Happy Together by Olivia Worley is a cleverly layered psychological drama that had me constantly analyzing the characters’ motivations and mental states. I wouldn’t say it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, but what really pulled me in was the question I kept asking myself: who was actually the most unstable—the main character, her ex-boyfriend, or his new girlfriend-turned-best-friend?
The shifting dynamics and underlying tension made for a compelling read. While I had some suspicions as the story unfolded, it still managed to keep me guessing until the very end. It’s the kind of book that makes you rethink everything you thought you knew about trust, loyalty, and manipulation.
Thank you to NetGalley and Minotaur Books for this eARC in exchange for my honest review.

This was the perfect (almost) summer read.
I loved the writing style. The characters really came to life and felt so relatable. Jane’s dry wit was my absolute favorite. I’ve never loved a stalker so much!
The story is totally outlandish in the best way. I got through this super quickly because I didn’t want to stop reading.
The only part that felt unnecessary and like it didn’t quite fit was the surprise gallery room near the end.
Can’t wait to see what this author does next.

Really?!???? , I disliked the character so much!!!! She was a stalker girl, I fear Colin doesn’t even care what this girl do but she does, her name didn’t even stick to me because she mentions Colin’s way more than my kids call me mom, the story was fast paced but it bore me how stalking this character was, although this book was very well written I just didn’t like the girl that’s it, great story but annoying.

This is a very slow burner at the beginning. It does pick up once the intrigue begins. I found none of the characters to be likeable. Never really did form an attachment to Jane. Truthfully, I didn't like her from the get-go.
The story is very well developed. Not being able to connect with the 3 main characters lies with me. Ms. Worley gives enough information and background for someone to form some sort of relationship with them.
Thank you to #NetGalley#OliviaWorley#MinotaurBooks for an ARC of #SoHappyTogether

This book was a solid 3.75 rounded up. I genuinely was anxious and sweating at parts because I had no earthly idea what was going to happen until the end of the book. The way the author twisted the facts to match different versions of the story was captivating. Though, I think therapy might be a better option than killing people lol.
Thanks Net Galley 😎
