Thank you, #Partner @stmartinspress and @netgalley for my gifted copy.
The cover is definitely deciding, but in a good way. I wasn't even sure what I was going into, but I am so glad I read this one. This was definitely an unputdownable twisty thrill ride. I definitely recommend this one!

So, I feel like I was a little decieved by this book. I read the premise and it sounded interesting. And at first I really enjoyed it. As a woman that has a hard time letting go, I empathized with Jane, who was hurt by a breakup that came out of nowhere and hoped to get Colin back. I struggled with this A LOT when I was younger.
However, Jane started to go a little bit nuts. I assumed this book would be about Jane trying to get Colin back and, maybe, Zoe had something behind the bad thing that happened. But I was NOT ready for what this book is really about.
On the one hand it was kind of bananas, which I loved. But the more out of control things got, the more I started to lose interest. What started as a decent read kind of lead me to skimming through the back half, just wanting to know what the end would be.
If you love books that go off the rails, this might be a good pick for you.

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
WOW. Just, wow. This book was NOT at all what I was expecting based off of the synopsis!
Jane and Colin only go on a few dates before Colin breaks it off, but Jane just knows they’ll be so happy together…Colin just doesn’t know it yet. Jane must convince him, until she finds out he is dating a new woman, Zoe. Jane befriends Zoe to stalk Colin—Jane breaks into Colin’s apartment and finds a disturbing secret…let the twists begin!
This novel was a total surprise and a welcoming one at that! The characters had pretty solid backgrounds and development, the plot wasn’t exactly feasible at times, but it was entertaining enough that I let it slide. There was internalized misogyny in some moments, white privilege in others, but very much feminist in its conclusion. It’s the era of feminist rage and I am here for it! I also LOVE an unlikable female character, so this book had its overwhelmingly redeeming moments that made it one of my first favorite books of 2025. I cannot wait to see what this author comes out with next.

This felt really long, probably because I was only getting to pick it up in stops and starts, but I actually really enjoyed it and found it more unique than most contemporary thrillers I pick up!

i was pleasantly surprised as this was a thriller that kept me on my toes. Thank you for my copy in exchange for a fair review.

DNF at 32%. The premise is solid, but I’m just not engaged. The characters are flat and boring, and the story is not compelling.

Although it starts off a little slow and I was a little afraid that it was just going to be about Jane’s obsession with Colin - which the story does centre around but there is so much more - Overall So Happy Together was a wild and crazy ride and I really enjoyed it ! Half the time I couldn’t figure out what was going to happen next, even though the final destination was slightly predictable. There were a few
of things in the end that didn’t make a lot of sense to me but overall the ending was pretty satisfactory
My rating 3.5 ⭐️

Why is Jane so crazy? This just gave me the ick times infinity. I liked the writing but the plot was not cool.

Dumped after 6 dates, Jane is determined to get back together with Colin. She befriends the woman he is currently dating and even breaks into Colins apartment where she finds some unsettling secrets. Jane's obsession and lies gets her into something she may not be able to recover from. Thank you to Net Galley and Macmillan for this AC.

This was good! Thanks NetGalley for the opportunity to read So Happy Together before its release! Excited for more from Olivia Worley!

I enjoyed this! I would def say it's an underrated thriller and I loved the concept and the plot and man it was a wild ride!

So Happy Together centers on Jane, a 24-year-old playwright in New York City who feels an immediate, profound connection to Colin after only six dates—so much so that when he suddenly ends things, she becomes determined to win him back. Her fixation deepens when she learns he’s now dating Zoe, a radiant Brooklyn artist. Undeterred, Jane enters a dangerous game by inserting herself into their lives—only to uncover shocking secrets that spiral into lies, murder, and an increasingly blurred moral landscape. So Happy Together is a razor-sharp, psychologically rich thriller that captures the chaotic extremes of modern dating—and how vulnerability can mutate into violence. If you're drawn to twisty, character-driven psychological thrillers in the vein of You, Promising Young Woman, or Gone Girl, this tense, stylish novel will grip you from page one and linger long after.

I really wanted to love this book, but it fell short of the mark for me. The plot concept was great, but it felt like a non-YA theme written as a YA novel. The plot twists were fairly predictable and sometimes presented very casually in an “oh, and by the way” manner. I do feel like the book had strong potential with a darker and more mature tone.
Jane as a narrator was awful. I think that was due in large part to her being written almost entirely like an angsty 14-15 year old and not a 24-25 year old. Zoe was slightly more likable but still had a very saccharine personality, even when the plot called for her not to be.

Many thanks to Netgalley for the e-arc!
Jane was wild, absolutely crazy. This was a fun ride. This was a quick read for me and I enjoyed it. If you don't like unhinged protagonists who make horrible decisions or if you don't like delulu narrative, you shouldn't read this. But I love but of those and definitely recommend this!

"Jane and Colin are soulmates. He just doesn’t know it yet."
So Happy Together is the thriller that was a wild ride and I could not stop turning the pages. This follows Jane and she is sure that Collin is her soulmate, even though he doesn't know it yet. Well when he starts daing Zoe then Jane knows that she needs to win him back. The twist is that Jane unearths a shocking secret after she trespassed into his apartment. What is this secret? To find out make sure to read this thrilling book. The author wrote this well and every character in it was great. I liked Jane a lot in this one. Overall, this was a fun and bingeworthy read that I highly enjoyed and would recommend to any reader who likes thrillers or mysteries. Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press/ Minotaur Books for this read in exchange of my honest review of So Happy Together by Olivia Worley.
"Some hearts get broken, some get even."

This story immediately intrigued me. Jane initially comes off as an unhinged stalker. I wasn't sure if I was scared of her, or if I pitied her. My view of her changed as the plot unfolded. I was engaged and entertained by the various twists. Is Jane deranged, or is she just an innocent seeker of the truth? I was continually trying to decipher who was lying and who was telling the truth. The story was original and kept me interested until the surprising conclusion. Thank you, NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for my copy.

"So Happy Together" is classic Olivia Worley, a page-turning thriller that will keep readers guessing.
While I didn't love this one as much as past books, I still enjoyed the storyline.
The story centers on Jane who becomes obsessed with a guy named Colin. I think that Colin lacked depth and made me question why Jane even cared that much. I am sure other readers will enjoy it nonetheless.
Thank you Minotaur Books for selecting me for this ARC.

My first thought was Fatal Attraction, the old movie where one becomes obsessed with the other. Jane just seems crazy the way she is stalking Colin. Though he has his issues too. This is an excellent mystery thriller. There are hints along the way to reveal twists and turns. And what is with Zoe? Can't she be happy having Colin as a boyfriend? WOW oh wow this was a book full of so much to enjoy. This was a page turner. Well done!

I enjoyed the writing style and was moved by Jane’s past—my heart truly ached for her younger self. The unexpected friendship between Jane and Zoe was a highlight, but many of the plot twists felt implausible, and I found myself rolling my eyes more than once. It’s a fast-paced, beach-friendly read, but not one I’d revisit.

Wow! I went into this one blindly and I was definitely in for a surprise. There were so many twists and turns! Our main character, Jane, has a bit obsessed with Colin, a man she went on six dates with. When he breaks up with her, she doesn’t want to take no for an answer and ends up befriending his new girl friend. While some parts were definitely awkward, Jane is such a likable character, you can’t help but root for her! I was surprised with how much I enjoyed this one. The suspenseful factor in it was great as well! Thanks so much to NetGalley and publisher for the ARC!
