A twisty thriller that will keep you guessing!
A little slow in the first half but it does pick up during the second half.. If you love a good unhinged stalker ex character this author does it PERFECTLY!

o Happy Together by Olivia Worley is a psychological thriller that kept me hooked from start to finish. The story follows Jane, a young woman in New York City who becomes obsessed with her ex, Colin, after he breaks things off. As she spirals deeper into her fixation, things take a dark turn when she discovers a shocking secret about Colin and his new girlfriend, Zoe.
The twists in this book were unexpected and kept me on the edge of my seat. Jane's obsession with Colin and her determination to prove that she’s the one for him is both unsettling and fascinating. I was drawn into her mind, and the way the story unfolded kept me guessing until the very end.
While I enjoyed the suspense and the dark elements of the plot, there were moments where the pacing felt a bit slow. Nonetheless, the twists and turns kept me invested, and the ending was satisfying in its own twisted way. Overall, I’d give this book 3.5 stars. It’s a solid read for fans of psychological thrillers, but it wasn’t quite a five-star experience for me.

"So Happy Together" by Olivia Worley follows Jane, a 24-year-old playwright from NYC, who goes out with Collin for six dates, and then he suddenly breaks off the relationship. Jane knows she can get him back by placing herself in the middle of his new relationship with Zoe. One day, Jane breaks into Collin's apartment and finds a truly horrifying surprise.
Thank you Netgalley and publisher St. Martin's Press for the digital eARC for review purposes. All opinions expressed are mine alone.
This book was interesting, to say the least. We have an unhinged woman who is obsessed with earning a man's attention, the perfect new girlfriend, some scary evidence of Collin doing something bad, and a new friendship that Jane and Zoe have tangled themselves in. What could go wrong in this mess?
It was entertaining but not enthralling enough for me to give it a rave review. Anyone who likes domestic thrillers would enjoy this unhinged and stalker-like thriller.
"So Happy Together" will be widely available June 3rd 2025.

The title lied, first of all. This was messy as hell (in the most entertaining way). Think reality TV but everyone’s got secrets and a hidden knife. It’s toxic, it’s juicy, and it low-key made me want to delete my group chats. If you love drama with teeth, this one bites hard.

This book really brings you on a whirlwind ride. I think it a good mystery and the real killer isn’t obvious. It’s a good take on a romantic thriller. Who ends up dead and by whose hands that you will have to read to find out.

I was given this book by NetGalley for an honest review-
Jane, a play writer lives in New York where she meets Collin the love of her life until he dumps her. She swears he loves her and just needs time. She even tries dating his roommate to make him jealous. When she steals the apt keys and sneaks in when they are gone she begins searching through his things and is shocked!! Can she believe this is true?

This was a cute read, but not sure it'll really stick with me. Characters were well-developed, flawed, and relatable. Unfortunately, there's so much whining, and the ending was somewhat predictable. I had hoped it'd be a bit more twisty than it was. If you're looking for a quick read, this might be one to consider.

The book started off strong but then fell flat. I struggled to finish the book. IMO the plot was predictable with Jane and her stalker- vibes.

So Happy Together started off really strong, then became so drawn out that I was bored and had to force myself to finish it. It was an okay read, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, anytime soon.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced readers copy.

This was such a fun read! Jane needs a therapist ASAP; but her craziness led her to crossing paths with Zoe and that’s when things really got interesting. I guessed one of the twist early on but it didn’t detract from the story. The twist at the end did surprise me though. A quick read you won’t want to put down!

Wow! This book was quite a ride.
I was immediately sucked into the story despite my deep secondhand embarrassment for Jane. I'm glad that the author chose to write this book in first person even though it meant cringing so frequently at Jane's thoughts and actions. There were many twists and turns, and I could never quite figure out what was true and what wasn't. I really like that quality in a mystery/ thriller.
My favorite part of the story is the friendship between Zoe and Jane. It went in so many different directions and kept me guessing. I think the theme of the book is focused on love in its many forms: romantic love, familial love, and the love of deep friendships.
Thanks to Net Galley for the book to review.

4 very solid stars! Thank you to St.Martin's Press and NetGalley for the ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own.
Jane has recently broken up with Colin, who she assumed was perfect for her, and it has created a bit of an obsession as she tries to reconcile their relationship and figure out what went wrong. That is, until she runs into Colin one a date with his new partner, Zoe, and in an attempt to explain how he knows Jane, tells Zoe they went to college together. Jane now has an "in" to Colin's life, which leads to a grisly discovery that may mean that Colin isn't who she thinks he is, at all.
This book was such a twisty and turny ride! I was thoroughly sucked into Jane's POV about her and Colin's relationship and how she could get him back. I sat down and ended up reading this book for a couple hours because I just couldn't put it down. I really loved Olivia Worley's writing style!
I absolutely did not see the twist coming in this book. At one point I was actually kind of confused as to what was happening - but if anyone else finds themselves in this position - keep reading. It all comes together in a VERY unexpected way.
I also really loved the characters in this book - again, Olivia Worley's writing really brought Jane and Zoe to life and highlighted these two very complex individuals. As I was reading it almost felt like I was a third person in this friendship - the writing was so immersive I felt dropped into the story!
A very fun, and entertaining read! Can't wait to read more from Olivia Worley!

I support women's rights and women's wrongs. And boy, were they wrong.
This book was a gas and I loved every edge of your seat minute.

I would like to start off by thanking netgalley for the arc of this book.
I finished this book in one day, that is how good it was! Kept me on my toes the entire time. Everything you think you know whilst reading this book is turned on its head in the final 50 pages of this book.
When Jane meets Collin, a smart software engineer, she knows that they are soulmates. The only problem... he doesn't realize it and cuts it off after 6 dates. Jane is certain that they are meant to be together and is sure that this is just a bump in the road of their relationship. When Jane meets Zoe, Collin's new girlfriend, she is upset to find that she is actually super nice and kind. Jane knows Zoe isn't right for Collin, and when Jane breaks into Collin's apartment she makes a shocking discovery that will change everything.
If you are a fan of You, Riley Sager, Sarah Pekkenan than this book is right up your alley.

Insane. Miss Worley is great at the last-minute twist, and this one was no different. Jane was a compelling character, and I loved how much the reader didn't fully understand her intensity until the last minute. Every character did feel multifaceted and equally capable of darkness ,which made the reveals pretty fun.
I did think some parts did feel an bit slow at times but the second half of the book did make up for it in the end.

Twisty and hard to put down!! Had so much fun reading this! Thank you NetGalley and publisher for early arc of this book!

3 ⭐️ I was sucked into grabbing this book because who doesn’t love an unhinged stalker type thriller with a possibly unreliable narrator?! Me that’s who. I was a little afraid this book would give me some second hand embarrassment because when Jane gets super stalkery, I am nervous she is going to get caught and that did happen to me a few times but I made it through. I thought this book was a fun and fast read but it went a little off the deep end towards the end which is why I didn’t rate this higher.
This book is about Jane, a girl who fell in love with a boy, who dumped her and her quest to get him back. Let’s be real, they went on 6 dates and she becomes obsessed and inserts herself into his life by becoming best friends with the new girlfriend. This book is very much a Summer popcorn beach read, it’s out there, it’s a little crazy at times but missed the mark a little on the ending. I wish it wrapped up with a better spin on mental illness but it skips over that possibility entirely. Oh well. I still thought it was fun and liked the messed up relationship between Jane and Zoe. Colin was a snoozefest, it was kind of funny she was so in love with this dud of a man… which I think, or maybe hope, was purposeful.
Always, I can’t say more without giving the story away. I am still glad I picked this up, it was an enjoyable read even if I didn’t love how it wrapped up.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the advanced egalley in exchange for my honest review.

This was my first book by Olivia Worley, and it did not disappoint. So Happy Together is told through the eyes of a borderline stalker who becomes obsessed with a guy she went on just six dates with. While I was reading, a few things didn’t quite add up or feel realistic—but by the end, it all comes together and makes sense.
** Thank you NetGalley, St. Martin’s Press, and Olivia Worley for an eARC copy of So Happy Together.

For the most part I enjoyed this book. It was a good thriller. Jane was something else. She was a stalker and obsessive. Overall, it was a pretty good read.

Interesting look at people who are a little on the stalker-y side, based on the premise that everyone has a stalker-y side! It was a fun read and had a sympathetic main character that was easy to root for.
