I really enjoyed this twisty psychological book. Right when I thought I had everything figured out, I did not. I honestly do not understand the lower ratings. This book had amazing character development, without being too wordy. Anyone that likes Freida Mcfadden will love this book.

Psychological thriller about a stalker and the complicated relationships between some young adults. Jane Williams is a 24 year old woman who likes to write plays and lives in New York. She had a brief relationship with a man named Colin and never got over him when he ghosted her out of the blue. She has decided to set up a series of online dates at a place near Colin's apartment hoping to see him and one day she does see him only he is on a date of his own. This starts a twisted story that takes a lot of turns but never seems to find it's footing. When Jane becomes friends with Colin's girlfriend Zoe, she finds herself in a strange cat and mouse game where she is always unsure of who and what is going on. Added to the mess is Colin's roommate Ben who is interested in Jane.
There are just too many storylines going on here and none of them are fully successful. Jane is a struggling playwright who somehow has money with no means of support. Parts of the story are about her ideas on the book "Hamlet" and specifically "Ophelia". Zoe is an artist and is preparing for a show, I can't remember what Colin did but none of these people ever appear to work. There is another side story regarding a mysterious woman named Leigh who is contacting Colin and then Zoe and Jane go back and forth as sometimes friends but sometimes Jane is just using her to see Colin. I never believed in any of the emotions felt by this trio and the story just got more and more bizarre to me. Many of the actions of Zoe and Jane made no sense to me at all and some of the book seemed like YA content with lots of descriptions of clothing and girl time. I think this would have worked better as. a straight on stalking story and I can't really identify what the author was going for here. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this ARC for review.

Jane, a 24-year-old playwright in New York City, thinks she’s found true love with Colin—until he suddenly ends things and immediately starts dating the seemingly flawless Zoe. Convinced she’s the one meant for him, Jane becomes obsessed with winning him back, and learning everything she can about Zoe. However, her fixation takes a dark turn when she sneaks into Colin’s apartment and uncovers a disturbing secret that entangles all three in a chilling web of deception and murder.
This book was a dark, twisting dive into obsession and delusion, with a protagonist so deeply unhinged you're never quite sure what’s real. Jane’s fixation on Colin (and Zoe) was disturbing, and as secrets unravelled, including possible murder and a mysterious girl on Instagram, the story became increasingly surreal. Every character was unlikeable, apart from Ben, who ends up tragically ignored and while the mystery was gripping, it spiralled into a convoluted finale.

I thought So Happy Together was a good read, but slightly predictable. I wasn't on the edge of my seat, but the story did hold my interest. I would recommend this book to my fellow thriller lovers.
I was given this book in exchange for my honest opinion. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC.

Jane wants nothing more than for her ex, Colin, to come back to her. She knows in their heart they belong together. One issue is he doesn't 100% realize it. Jane finds out Colin is dating Zoe and her obsession gets worse. Jane continues her mission to for getting Colin back by befriending Zoe. During her mission she uncovers a dark secret, a secret that she views as a way to bring her and Colin closer together.
I cringed often while reading this one. My shoulders were in pain for a week with constantly cringing from the screen. Wanting to look away at every one of Jane's pathetic attempts to win back a man who clearly thought nothing of her, but I just couldn't. It was addictive. If you have ever made a fool of yourself for someone, you know that feeling in your stomach that just clinches and doesn't let go? That will be in the pit of your gut until the end of this book.
It should have counted as cardio with how much I jumped between rooting for Jane and despising Jane within minutes of each other. I pictured Colin as this pretentious nothing special guy and was always questioning what someone like Zoe could ever see in him. Each time he came into the scene I thought to myself "this is the prize? this is what we're going through this for?".
I would highly recommend this read to anyone who needs to realize their ex is nothing special. Or if you enjoy addictive, cringey, thrillers about obsession and unrequited love.

Jane, a 24-year-old playwright in NYC, thinks she’s found the perfect match in Colin—until he suddenly ends things and starts dating Zoe, a charming Brooklyn artist. Convinced Zoe isn’t right for him, Jane becomes obsessed with winning him back. But when she sneaks into Colin’s apartment, she uncovers a shocking secret that entangles all three in a dangerous web of lies and murder.
This book was very engaging and had me on the edge of my seat majority of the read. I really enjoyed the novel and while it was somewhat predictable but not until you were about 75%, and I felt like the twists were done really well. Jane, Zoe and Collin were all very unlikable characters, but I think that made the story more enjoyable for me.
This book really makes you think twice about "stalking" your ex on social media, and trying to see what they are up to even after the relationship is long over. I really enjoyed the obsessive aspect of this book because it helped play into the plot even more. Overall, definitely recommend this one, but check out the trigger warnings first.

Thanks to Minotaur Books, St Martin's Press, NetGalley, and Olivia Worley for this eARC. All thoughts are my own.

This was FUN! I read it, but I am already anticipating listening to it next chance I get.
I love unreliable narrators and this was a good one!
2 ladies, obsessed with the same guy.
1 guy, who sucks and could also be a murderer.
What more could you want?! This was FUN! I reitterate.
It did slow down a little towards the end, but it didn't ruin the book for me.
Highly recommend!!

Absolutely loved this one! Fantastic voice, and the author did an amazing job of making a slightly unhinged protagonist so sympathetic. Gorgeously written too.

Jane is a playwriter who is in love with Colin . Who she met online, a little like single white female but modern with dating apps. Basically a rain ride of crazy. There’s a couple plot twists and I enjoyed this even though O saw the ending coming

I’m not sure what happened here. This one definitely has twists in it. I’m still not exactly sure who to believe. Jane, Zoe, Colin, and even Ben were characters who intrigued me. This was my first Olivia Worley book, and she did a good job (maybe too good?) of giving clues for me to follow. It started slow, but then, it took off.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for this advanced copy. I enjoyed it.

Once I got into the story, I was flipping through the pages, reading the majority of it during one night. It was highly entertaining, however, I did find the ending a bit rushed and lackluster, and feeling unsatisfied with how it all wrapped up. Overall a fun popcorn thriller that I would recommend to newer thriller readers to get a taste of the genre. I'll probably check out another work from this author in the future though!
A solid three stars.

Thank you NetGalley for a digital copy of this book. The opinions are my own and freely given.
Honestly, when I first started to read this, I was a little bored as Jane was way too obsessed with Colin. They had only gone on 6 dates, but she fell hard. Jane seemed to just go places so she could bump into Colin. Then she sees him on a date and starts to look into his girlfriend on social media. But when they meet, things change. Instead of tell Zoe, his current girlfriend, that Jane and he dated, he comes up a lie that they are old college friends. Zoe takes Jane into the fold and quickly the two become friends. But Jane always has in the back of her mind that Colin is going to come back to her. Then each of the women find some disturbing things hidden away in Colin's room. Zoe and Jane work together to confront Colin on his past.
This book just kept going until the very end. I was pleasantly surprised, and it sucked me in. However, about the first 40% of the book, I was bored with the obsession of Colin and thinking Colin was coming back even as Jane and Zoe were becoming closer...

Such a creepy, well written thriller! I always enjoy a love-to-hate character, and this book was full of them! The plot was really interesting and I was so curious what was going to happen next to everyone. The ending was so well written! I really enjoyed this and would definitely recommend!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. Was able to wait until release date to be able to read via the digital and audio copy.
No spoilers.
Crazy meets crazy, meets crazy. This is a twisty story around a young group with plenty of hidden agendas. You are whipped in different directions as the narrative pulls you again another way.
This is my first from this author. Will have a look at her backlist for more twisty stories.

This was an odd one for me. It was very engaging, I read it in only a couple of days, but I didn't like it that much. The characters didn't have a lot of complexity. And why be obsessed over Colin? Yall went on six dates, and after he slept with you, he ghosted you, then got an actual girlfriend. He's gross and boring. No thanks.
I did like some of the twist in here, especially towards the end. Unfortunately, at some point I felt it got too twisty and convoluted to the point that a lot of it didn't make sense to me.
It was a quick popcorn read. I would be willing to read something else from the author in the future.
Thank you to NetGalley for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely love Olivia Worley's thrillers, and her first foray into the adult space is no different. The voice is biting, the twists kept me on my toes, and I felt like I didn't take a full breath until I finished the book. I think if you liked YOU, you'd love SO HAPPY TOGETHER!

This book was so unhinged, and I loved every second of it. I didn't know which character was the bigger villain. Jane with her stalker tendencies camera, kept me on the edge of my seat. Colin just seemed too good to be true. Zoe was the innocent to bystander, who got caught up and someone else's drama.
The ending was so unexpected, but so perfect. I gasped, I screamed, and I laughed hysterically while reading this book. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a high interest off the wall suspense. Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for my ARC.

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC! This book is focused on Jane who becomes obsessed with a guy Colin who she dates a few times and she gets too serious for him, and he breaks it off. She is not ready to let this be her fate. As she tries to get back in with him there are a lot of twists and turns that keep you guessing. I did find Jane somewhat annoying with her obsession with Colin, but overall it was a solid read.

I liked the beginning and the end of this one. The middle felt a little messy. It felt like the author was trying to do too much, so I rolled my eyes many times. I enjoyed Zoe as a character, but I felt nothing for anyone else, so I had a difficult time caring about the outcome of the story.
Thanks to NetGalley for my ARC

Jane is obsessed with Colin, and they dated briefly before Colin moved on to Zoe. Jane doesn't get the memo and finds herself back in Colin's life, whether he likes it or not.
This one has secrets, lies, and shocking twists. Just when you think you have it figured out, another twist is thrown in there to make you question it all.
