There was much to enjoy here, but I found I couldn't connect with it. I'd read more from this author in the future though.

When this book first came out, it was highly recommended to me but with the caveat that I should wait awhile before reading it. I was pregnant at the time and I waited more than a little while to read it. Looking back, I can understand why I may have been cautioned against diving into it right when it came out, but I can think of any number of reasons that this might be sensitive reading for some. My response is, don't wait. Dive in to Cheryl Glickman's middle age, single, slightly neurotic world and don't come up until you're done.
