Whew that ending twist!

I found myself going back and forth on what I believe and loved the unreliable narrator premise. The storyline was very far fetched, but very entertaining nonetheless. I had my suspicions throughout, but I was only half right! I love a good twist.

I listened at 2x, and it was the perfect speed. The narrator was great!

A good story & audiobook.

Don’t Believe Her by Nicola Sanders hooked me from the start and kept me intrigued all the way through. This gripping psychological thriller unravels the perfect facade of a seemingly happy life, as secrets from the past resurface with chilling consequences. Ellie’s joy at her fiancé’s sister, Carla, returning after twelve years quickly turns to suspicion when unsettling inconsistencies begin to emerge. As her concerns are dismissed by everyone around her, the tension escalates, creating a haunting sense of isolation and mistrust. With an eerie atmosphere and a slow-building sense of dread, this story pulls the reader into a web of mystery and deception, making them question who can truly be trusted.

The story is filled with twists and turns that kept me questioning what was truly happening. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, another twist threw me off balance, keeping me fully engaged until the very end.

Jodie Harris narrates the audiobook, and she is simply magnificent. Her voice brings depth to the characters, pulling the listener right into the story. If you’re a fan of Imogene Church, you’ll absolutely adore Harris. She adds a layer of tension and emotion that amplifies the suspenseful narrative, making the experience even more captivating.

Having read several books by Nicola Sanders, I can confidently say this one does not disappoint. It’s a thrilling ride with a strong storyline and plenty of unexpected turns.

Thank you NetGalley, Nicola Sanders, and Dreamscape Media for the opportunity to listen to and review Don’t Believe Her.

Don’t Believe Her was a 4 star read for me! 🤔

This is a mystery that takes many turns. Just when I thought I had it figured out, I realized quickly I didn’t. While I appreciated the plot twists, the only downfall I had was it being just a little slow and lack of character development.

Would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a crazy story!!

A long ago dissappearnace!

A girl shows up claiming to be the long lost friend and sister. Her name is Carla.

Everyone has their opinion. Her best friend claims it’s not her. The brother Nick believes it’s his sister. Nick is engaged to Carla’s best friend.

Even Carla and Nicks mother concurs. This creates a huge problem.

So many crazy twists! Who is telling the truth? I love a book that completely shocks me!

DON'T BELIEVE HER is one of those stories that I knew I would enjoy from the very beginning. It was very entertaining, fast paced and binge worthy. Did, I like all the characters? No, but I did like Ellie and I didn't know until the end if she was trust worthy or not. The author does lead you to believe the story is going one way and then changes it up at end. I always enjoy surprise endings. For me this was a winner!

Many thanks to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for my gifted ALC

Such an easily bingeable read!!

I loved Don’t Let Her Stay by Nicola, and loved this one too! Definitely read if you enjoyed the first. I love books where I truly cannot decide whose side I’m on!

Years after Carla goes missing, a woman shows up stating she is her. But her best friend Ellie, who is now engaged to Carla’s brother, is super suspicious of her identity.

Thanks to Dreamscape Media for my ALC!

Thank you to Dreamscape Media & NetGalley for an ALC of this book, in exchange for my honest opinion.

I was so excited to listen to this audiobook, because Nicola Sanders has quickly become one of my go to authors for thrillers! She writes captivating and twisty thrillers, with so many plot twists you’ll never see coming. I really enjoyed the narrator Jodie Hall, she has such a good voice that draws you into the story!

Don’t believe her, casts a shadow of doubt as soon as the book starts, and it makes it impossible to decide who to trust and whose story you believe. Honestly my opinion on who was guilty changed with each chapter, and that’s what I love about Nicolas books. You feel like you’re part of the story and trying to piece it all together. I was able to guess some of the plot twists, but not all of them.

The ending was wrapped up perfectly with a nice little bow, and I love nothing more than a thriller that ends with all questions and loose ends tied up.

Overall, couldn’t recommend this thriller and this author enough!
