This was a cute little story. I enjoyed it a lot, as I do with most of Mary Kay Andrews books. I loved the interactions between Tilly and George, but I especially loved Smoosh! An easy, hilarious and heartwarming book!

This was a delightful and quick read that had me laughing out loud from the very beginning. The story follows Tilly, who is secretly staying in a rental owned by the company she works for, when George arrives to prepare the house for sale. With Tilly struggling to find a place to live and unexpected mishaps happening around the property, the reader is taken on a fun journey as these two characters gradually get to know each other. I enjoyed this Christmas story by Mary Kay Andrews! Tilly finds herself in a pickle a week before Christmas when an “uninvited” guest shows up at the vacation rental that hasn’t been booked. I chuckled throughout and wished Tilly’s story didn’t end! A good story to get you in the holiday spirit!

I loved this little gem! What a cute story, it got me in the mood for the holiday season ahead. I have never been let down by a Mary Kay Andrews story, and this was no exception! The story follows Tilly, the receptionist for a rental agency, who just happens to be squatting in one of the rental properties that the owner comes to inhabit while she's squatting in it! Tilly tries redirecting George to go crash other places, but it doesn't work, he can't be moved. This story was so, so cute!

Tilly has been crashing in one of her work’s rental properties that has sat empty for a long time while she waits for her new apartment to be ready after the holidays. What she doesn’t expect is for one of the owner’s family members to show up..

I enjoy Mary Kay Andrews stories and was pleased to be able to read this one a bit early.
I prefer full books to short stories but this was a good early start to the Christmas reading season.
The first 3/4 of the story moved at a good pace and set up for a great story ending but then it became very rushed and then ended. This is why I don't like short stories because they usually end rushed. There wasn't enough time for Tilly and George to build a proper connection. If there had just been a bit more to the story it probably would have been much more believable.

This was such a a cute Christmas short story! I wasn't ready for this story to end and wanted more. The ending did feel a bit rushed. Now I just need a full length sequel. Mary Kay Andrews is the queen of holiday novels!

You can’t go wrong with a MKA Christmas story! Holiday Hideaway is a short story , perfect for the holiday season. Tilly is having a hard time finding temporary housing, so she takes up in one of the rentals that her work represents, the Crowe’s Nest. . Unknown to anyone, the owner of the house decides to pay a visit, all while Tilly is hiding in the attic. In true MKA form, Tilly meets George, they realize they knew each other in high school and you can guess the rest! Would love to read more about their adventures. 3 1/2 rounded up to 4

As merry as a peppermint hot cocoa! I loved, loved, loved Mary Kay Andrews’ heartwarming Holiday Hideaway, a classically fun, witty and entertaining MKA novella, filled with interesting, well developed characters for whom you can’t help but root, and brimming with Christmas spirit to boot. This is a perfect holiday read.

Highly recommended! If you have time for only one Christmas romance this year, make it Holiday Hideaway.

And kudos to Amazon for the utterly stunning cover!

I love MKA's holiday books and this short story would have made for a wonderful novel. It's a very quick read. Tilly is squatting in one of her company's rentals, when the new owner unexpectedly arrives. In true MKA fashion, hijinks and romance ensue. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
