Eat Slay Love is a funny and killer novel that passes the Bechdel Test!!

I received an ARC from NetGalley and Overlook Press, and was excited since I recently finished Bad Men, also by Julie Mae Cohen.

This novel focuses on female friendships, the patriarchy, and finding yourself. It had lots of funny moments, and a murder here and there. It isn’t much of a mystery/thriller as the title suggests, but I loved the character development.

I also loved Godzilla.

I loved this! You normally see the scenario of three women and one man in romance novels or empowerment stories. But this was different and funny. It was so good!
