I'm really enjoying this series. It's got the teensiest bit of paranormal thrown in (in this one, the heroine can talk to animals!) but other than that they're just great suspense stories wrapped around sweet, and sometimes hot, romances.

I particularly loved Dev. He's such a sweetie! I love it when the hero is a bit of a gentle giant. When their size and overall ripped-ness are paired with humble, shy or any other appealing quality. He was fab.

Shelly was very sweet too. A bit slow on the uptake about Dev's feeling, perhaps. but a good heroine nonetheless.

A great read - 4 stars.
