A really fun book about dinosaurs who are in the school and make a huge mess! We weren't sure at first if the dinosaurs were really there, because the teachers didn't see them, although they sure saw the mess that the dinos left behind! But sure enough, come recess time, the teachers saw those dinosaurs. Funny story and really fun illustrations showing the mayhem that dinosaurs caused at school. Children will love this one, especially your dino-loving kids.

This book was such a fun read—my 3-year-old loved it! He couldn’t stop laughing at the silly, messy dinosaurs and their wild antics. The illustrations are super cute, and the rhyming text flows so smoothly—it made reading aloud a total joy.
If you’ve got a little dino lover in your life, this one’s a must-have for storytime!
Thank you NetGalley and publisher for the eARC

“Mom's” Review:
This was absolutely adorable! I swear I kept finding more and more dinos in the stories, hidden both in plain sight and also much more challengingly. Both kids were giggling up a storm and as soon as the story was over, they jumped up, racing around the room, pretending to find dinos peeking out of corners, their bookcase, and more. So, maybe not the best to read RIGHT before bedtime! :)
“C” immediately asked for a re-read and “A” wanted to borrow my phone (we received this as a NetGalley eBook ARC) to read it all by herself. So, clearly this one is going into the rotation!
“A's” Review:^
I couldn’t stop laughing! There was a dino hiding in a [you’ll have to find it yourself!] and it was just so darn funny! And purple feet sticking out from [that one place!]. And the ending? Hilarious! Can I read it now? (laughs uncontrollably!)
(Direct quote)“C!” I see a dino in the closet! Oh no! We’d better run!”
C's Review:
It was so funny to see all the dinos hiding!
(Direct quote) “GAH! There’s a dino in our closet! I’m going to go pet it. Read it again, read it again!” starts jumping up and down.
“Dad’s” Review:
There were so many cleverly hidden dinosaurs tucked into the illustrations that as I read this to the kids,I would get distracted trying to find them all, and found more each time we re-visited a page. The kids clearly had a great time reading this and even with the stylization of most of the species of dinosaurs, you could tell which one was which - except for the T. Rex… that was, er, unrecognizable…
Thank you to Timothy Knapman, Sarah Warburton, Jabbawocky Books, & NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book!
All opinions are our own.
NOTES:
° = Our Plot/Lesson rating is how well the kiddos picked up on the morals/lessons learned or well received the facts were.
^ = A, "Ready to Read" level 3, voracious reader
* = C, learning her letters, but memorizes stories well!
**There might be a few little plot reveals edited to a [generic description in brackets] to keep the surprise. :)
“Quotes”I paraphrase the kids’ opinions 90% of the time, but will call out their direct quotes.

This is a very fun book, my daughter (5) thought it was very funny how the dinosaurs were making such a mess. I, as the reader, appreciated the pronunciation help found in the covers for the various dinosaurs. The end result of the science teacher had my daughter giggling, she thought that was so silly. The illustrations are very cute, and the rhyming pattern of the text flows nicely. Definitely a book to get for the little dinosaur lover in your life. We read this ebook through Netgalley.

This is simply a fun book that can teach you new dinosaur names. I like how there are hidden dinosaurs on each page that could be pointed out to children to keep them engaged.

I loved this book! I liked how all of the dinosaurs are properly named; I think dinosaur-obsessed kiddos will appreciate that, too! The rhyme scheme was perfect for me. Everything flowed very well. I liked the cartoony art style and the silly story. There are so many dinosaur books available but this one stands out!

Oh No! Dinosaurs in My School is a lighthearted picture book that is sure to appeal to young readers! The dinosaurs antics are similar to those that occur in other books, but there are a couple of fun twists that make this story unique. The two-page spread illustrations really help draw the reader into the story while also adding to the element of humor. I love how the endpapers show different types of dinosaurs with their names and pronunciations...this adds a bit of an educational component to a story that is otherwise lighthearted an hilarious. Overall, I consider this book a win! This book would be a fun story time read for libraries, classrooms, or even at home!
Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Kids for the opportunity to review an eARC of this title.

This book was adorable! The illustrations were very cute, and my (almost) five year year has asked for this book a few times. She thought the dinosaurs were acting bad, destroying the music room - but she thought the Pterosaur flying away with the pizza was very funny 🤷🏻♀️
The rhyming scheme was great and flowed easily.
Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC.

This is a fun book about school for kids. My kids loved seeing the silly dinosaurs hiding around the school and the funny surprise at the end.

Oh No! Dinosaurs in My School features a different twist on a traditional story about dinosaurs - this time with children being blamed for dinosaurs' antics. This was a fun read, but I felt like the pacing was a little off while at times the plot could have been more clear what was happening. Some of this could have been due to reading on iPad though and not being able to see multiple pages at once. My 4 year old loved this one though and enjoyed pointing out all of the dinosaurs hiding on each page.

This was seriously such a fun read! There are a lot of kids' books out there that are about dinosaurs, but this book added something different to this specific subgenre. I think that what made this book unique was the various twists and turns that the main character faces at school, especially that last surprise! Adding onto that, the way that this book was organized was utterly perfect. The plot was clear, the book wasn't too long/short, and every second of the story was highly entertaining and lively. This book's mood definitely reflects the creativity of the author, and it was obvious that the author put a lot into writing this book, and it paid off wonderfully. Lastly, the illustrations weren't scientifically accurate, BUT that just increased the whimsical and different tone of the book. In my opinion, the illustrator took a risk, but executed it in such a way that it fit this story in the best way possible. Bravo, bravo!!!

I read this book with my four-year-old, and we both really liked it! The story is a combination of cute/silly that’s always enjoyable, and the illustrations are nicely done. We had a lot of fun trying to find the more hidden dinosaurs on some of the pages, and I really appreciated the pronunciation guides for the dino names.
As one constructive comment, the eBook download seems like it could use a little work (on iPhone, the pictures sometimes display in quarter-cuts so it takes four “flips” to see one page).

Loved how the dinosaurs 🦖 are named in the first pages and their pronunciations, it helped me as a parent to know them quickly!
Loved the rhyming of the book it’s made it flow nicely, the story line was nice and easy to follow for both me and child. The ending was funny my son was giggling 🤭 and I didn’t see it coming! 😂 we giggled together
Very colourful and bright caught my son’s attention quickly, he loved pointing out the dinosaurs and their bright colours!
Fun read, dinosaur mad children will love it! 🥰

I voluntarily read this book and I absolutely loved it!! This book was fun, adventurous and silly. My students will be begging me to read it numerous times. I will be recommending it to all of my fellow educators.! Love, love, love it!!

We are deeply in our dinosaur era right now and this book was so fun. The illustrations are so cute and the rhymes are catchy.

I want to start by thanking the author and publisher for the opportunity to read an advanced release copy copy of this book. Pretty cute book.

A cute picture book about what happens when dinosaurs end up at a kids school. I mean what kid or adult doesn't love dinos.

Oh No! Dinosaurs in My School by Timothy Knapman is a fun and imaginative read that I think kids—especially dinosaur lovers—will really enjoy. The story is playful and creative, and the illustrations are absolutely adorable and full of energy. I could see this being a hit at storytime!
I gave it 4 stars because the flow felt a little awkward in spots—I found myself re-reading a line or two to get the rhythm right, and some of the phrasing felt a bit off to me. That said, it’s still a super cute book with tons of kid appeal. A great pick for little ones who love a bit of chaos and dinos in their stories!

What would you do if you were the only one who could see dinosaurs in your school? Would you try to tell the teachers? Would they believe that dinosaurs were causing the chaos and mischief and NOT you? You just happen to be where all the chaos is... because you are tracking the destructive dinosaurs... but what if they adults finally DO see them? Read on to find out! This was a highly engaging and fun picture book... about a day with dinosaurs in a school.

A fun and silly book for a dinosaur loving kid! My daughter enjoyed it but at the end did ask “Why is the Science Teacher a dinosaur too?” And I would agree. It ends on a bit of a cliffhanger? Or at least does seem to have a wrap up to the story. None the less it was well written well illustrated and enjoyable.
