Barbarian's Heart was a good read. There were times when I was frustrated with Stacy. Her actions and thoughts when it came to Pashov and his loss of memories seemed selfish. Pashov tried his best and I enjoyed his character a lot. He was very understanding and wanted what was best for Stacy after he realized he should be taking care of her and their baby. He may have forgotten them and what he should be doing as a mate, but he took care of his responsibilities after he was told. I also enjoyed his family, especially his mom and sister. Pashov and Stacy characters were good, and I loved them even more when they were together. I enjoyed their story. Their ending was a sweet one and I'm look forward to more books in this series.

Barbarian's Heart is a heartwarming and emotional exploration of love, loss, and the power of connection. This slower-paced entry in the Ice Planet Barbarians series focuses on the deeply personal journey of Pashov and Stacy as they navigate the challenges of amnesia and rebuild their bond. While the steamy element may be less prominent than in other books, the emotional depth and character development make it a truly captivating read. I really enjoyed it, but it wasn't my favorite in the series. Still super compelling and highly bingeable!

I always love coming back to the world of Ice Planet Barbarian's! In this novel we have Stacey and Pashov, who were one of the first couples to get together when the ladies landed on Not-Hoth

When the planet shook and the clan's cave collapsed, Pashov was hurt and ended up with amnesia. He doesn't remember his mate Stacey, or his son Pacy. So this is an alien amnesia, second-chance type romance book and it was SO cute.

Stacey is upset when Pashov wakes up- she's never been without him on this alien planet, and he has no idea who she is. She feels like she's lost her best friend, her mate, her partner- two years of their lives together lost. Pashov is confused, unsure of how to act around her. It's like he's woken up and found all out of of his dreams came true- but he doesn't remember them.

The complications between these two are mostly due to lack of communication- they don't know how to act around each other. They have to learn how to be together, how to come back and rebuild their relationship. Pashov, like any good alien mate, goes out of his way to take care of Stacey. Stacey of course knows Pashov and what he likes- she uses these things to bring them back together, to make new memories.

OMG this while series was a different experience for me! But this one actually wasn’t my cup of tea because second chances were not my usual tropes and Stacy got on my nerves more than once. Did I have fun and enjoyed it though? Yeah hell yes and j will for sure continue this series.

I am always a Ruby Dixon fan! I absolutely fell in love with this story! It’s definitely different than some of the other ones, because there is an aspect of amnesia in this book! The main female character is the one that is chasing the male character in this case, and really trying to convince the other that they are mates. This definitely puts a twist on things, but I absolutely loved it and will continue the series!!!! But it definitely still tugs on your heartstrings, and Ruby Dixon never disappoints me!

This is a reread for me, since I read the book when Ruby first self published it and it's just as good this time around.

Unlike other couples in the series, this story picks up in the middle of Stacey and Pashov's life which is a refreshing chance of pace. It hits home a little harder than expected since Stacey is VERY emotional (such a mood) but her reasonings plus Pashov's amnesia [not a spoiler] give the plot the right amount of anguish you need.

Ruby's writing is so easy to read and I always recommend this series when someone needs something fluffy but ~different~ to read.

Loved revisiting Not-Hoth. 4.75 stars!

The way this book tugged on my heartstrings...!! Stacy and Pashov are everything!

I think I say it in nearly every review I leave for these books, but: I fall more in love with these characters and this frozen world with every story we're told. For as cold and bitter as it is, for as dangerous and wild, Not-Hoth has become like a second home to me and returning with each of these beautiful Berkley special editions is such a treat.

Stacy and Pashov's story is one of heartbreak and healing. While their world is in disarray and they must seek out a new home, they must also learn about one another all over again. They're mates, yes, but they were also friends, and that friendship and comfort must be re-learned. Rediscovered.

We're also treated to the rest of the tribe and their shenanigans, support, and adventures. The found family and friendships amongst the humans and Sa-Khui is natural and fun, and everyone feels so real. I love them all!

The 'worst' thing about these books is the wait between each new publication. LOOK AT THESE COVERS!! Barbarian's Heart is my new favorite!!

I enjoy this series and find it super easy to read, and I appreciate that Ruby Dixon didn't go for the quick and easy solution of 'suddenly he remembers!' I do think that because we didn't really see either of the MCs in the other books, this amnesia and loss doesn't hit as hard because we're not as emotionally connected to them. Still, I'll read all of the other ones, why not, bring it on.

I thought the romance of this was very cute but was disappointed with the two leads who I found unlikable in different ways. I will be sure to continue the series though!

After a horrible earthquake that destroys the tribe's home, Pashov is critically wounded. Once he wakes from his head wound, he does not remember his mate, or their child together. While this would be heartbreaking for anyone, Stacy can be a little selfish. Instead of trying to understand Pashov and what he is going through, she makes it all about her and pushes him away. However, they must learn each other again and more importantly, learn how to communicate their feelings and wants.

This was a really great addition to the ice planet barbarian series! I really love the world-building that Ruby has in all her books and they really draw me in and make me want more. Worth the read!!

This book brings all the emotions, making you question what it really means to be a mate when the memories are gone. If you’ve ever felt that desperate need to reclaim a lost love, this one will resonate hard. It’s messy, emotional, and real; just how we like it in this series.

Stacy and Pashov met and connected almost immediately after the human women landed on the ice planet. They had a beautiful life together and a healthy child when tragedy struck causing a traumatic brain injury for Pashov.

Pashov remembers nothing of his mate and child, leaving Stacy mourning the loss of everything that gave her comfort on the new planet. Pashov is trying his hardest to get his memories back but nothing is helping, and Stacy is frustrated with the loss of the connection with her mate.

I enjoyed this book and storyline, it wasn’t my favorite of the series but I am glad that the main couple learns to connect again and gets their HEA!

After the collapse of the elder cave, Stacy watches as her mate Pashov turns into a stranger. Although he is healing from his physical injuries, he does not remember anything from the last 2 years - including his mate and his child. As the two tip-toe around each other, feelings will be hurt unless they can figure out how to relate to one another again.

I was really surprised by the elder cave collapse at the end of the previous novel. The shift to a new home will give these characters a chance to grow. It was interesting to see a more of Stacy, who wasn't very present in the series up to this point.

I will absolutely devour anything and everything that Rudy Dixon writes, and this is no exception! Stacey and Pashov's (and baby Pacy's) story was very different than the other books in this series. It was second chance x amnesia which are two trope's I'm not usually the biggest fan of, but I did enjoy them in this book!
Pashov also took the cake for me, I felt so bad for him and had so much sympathy for his story.

This series always delivers. I really loved reading Stacey's second chance at love if you will. Thinking she found her HEA and hten her husband gets caught in a cave in and loses all his memories. Angsty and wondering if love can happen a second time around, these two definitely both get stuck in their head and you want to scream at them at times (in the most relatable ways), but I just love how Ruby uses the community on Not-Hoth to play matchmakers.

This is a reread for me because I have absolutely devoured every IPB book out there and really, just reading them feels like home to me. They are spicy, cozy and honestly just great love stories and this is a hill I will GLADLY die on.

This book was exactly what I thought it would be-- a quick, fun read! Ever since I read the first Ice Planet Barbarians book, I realized that this is the kind of series that I wouldn't necessarily tell others about, but it's still one I will go back to when other books come out.
