Working as a HR professional with team members across the globe, I found this book hugely helpful. This goes into a much wider range of subjects than you usually find - most HR books tend to have one or two chapters on 'and if you're managing internationally.' This will surely be a valuable resource for many as we increasingly find through remote working that our teams can be spread widely!

This is a great all road book that you can read on different levels - in depth, for study, or for quick summaries. I enjoyed it and there were some areas I found particularly useful to my context - the succession planning and the current and future issues. It was still good to remind myself of the other sections. This is a book you could refer to again and again.

I have not come across many HRM textbooks that cover expatriation and repatriation.
I will recommend this book to colleagues in HRM and Global Engagement departments.
The highlights for me were the case studies and the chapters on equality.
