The hype is well-deserved, and it's great to have a new dystopian romance on the market. A definite solid title for sales and I'm really looking forward for the next part coming out next year, both personally and professionally.

A solid story about family, ennemies, figuring out which side you're on, about love and friendship and differences and right and wrong. It had a sci-fi / post-apocalyptic vibe to it that I haven't enjoyed in a while.
Wren sees her uncle die in front of her and then gets captured by ennemies. She manages to prove that she is not "aberynth" and they force her to join the military, but the highly trained ones. She then infiltrates that and starts working for the resistence.
Wren makes friends, discovers which lines she's willing to cross and uncover secrets that will shake her.
I thoroughly enjoyed the writing and especially the pace of the story. It was a perfect blend of small time jumps for plot purposes and slowing down when needed. I liked that the book didnt take place over just two weeks. I liked getting to know the characters and.... THE BETTAYAL AT THE END GUTTED ME. Overall, I reccomend this and can't wait for the next one!

Sehr gut geschrieben. Allerdings war der flow der Geschichte für ich etwas langsam. Trotzdem hatte ich Spaß beim lesen.

What a rollercoaster! Just when I thought my heart couldn’t take any more, the author turned things up another notch. The mix of emotional depth and edge-of-your-seat tension kept me flipping pages faster than ever. Truly an unputdownable read.

Silver Elite was a great post-apocalyptic, dystopian story. The story about Wren and her uncle being Modifieds in a continent full of Primes who wanted to either kill them or imprison them had me hooked from the start. Along with the relationship between Wren and her telepathic friend Wolf. Wren has the chance to help the Uprising by joining the Silver Elite, an elite team for the Company (the General), and working from the inside. There is plenty of action and suspense. The romantic relationship that builds between Wren and Cross had me rooting for them. The ending was a little disappointing to me but now I know there's a second book coming, so hopefully that's help me feel better about it. Thank you NetGalley and Random House Worlds for letting me access this early copy.

The first half of the book was just okay to me. Not bad, not good. Just okay. It's written well, lots of funny dialog. Nothing really happened, though. Just a lot of just talk about past events that I found extremely repetitive. I quickly understood where the Fourth Wing comparisons came from. Academic setting. FMC being in said academy against her will. The friend group, etc. It also reminded me of a few other books. Except these other books excucuted the tropes found in in "Silver Elite" a lot better in my opinion. The "angst" between Wren and Captain Cross felt generic and predictable and very Insta-lovey. The world building was miniscule. We stayed in the same setting for over half the book. The last 50% definitely saved it. The pace picked up. I don't think anyone was surprised with the reveal about Cross, but I became more endeared to the characters and the story. I hope the second book improves on the issues in book one.

Silver Elite pulled me in right away with its unique and intriguing plot. It is such a fun debut—it mixes undercover missions, psychic powers, and slow-burn romance all in one. Wren’s story, caught between survival, rebellion, and her complicated feelings for Cross Redden, kept me invested. I haven’t read anything quite like it before, and that made the story so unputdownable.
If you’re looking for something different that stands out from the usual tropes, Silver Elite is definitely worth picking up.

“Silver Elite” by Dani Francis is an absolutely thrilling and addictive romance. The characters are captivating and full of depth, with chemistry that sparks from every page. The story is fast-paced, full of suspense, and keeps you hooked until the very end. Dani Francis masterfully blends romance, intrigue, and emotional moments, creating a reading experience that is both exciting and heartwarming. A must-read for fans of contemporary romance with a touch of adrenaline!

I feel like the main plot twist that happened before the end of the book was very predictable. However wasn't expecting the very end at all. it also hurt me that her friend turned her in.

Book 1 Silver Elite is almost a gothic romance. With the extremely handsome Cross, and Wren’s impulsive behavior. Add to that Prime people against the Modified people. A war is brewing. Lots of lies to protect herself, Wren’s survival is constantly in danger. Cannot wait for book two.

LOVED! I felt like I was reading “Divergent” again, but as an adult (and I might have enjoyed this more). I will definitely be anxiously awaiting the second one, and rereading this one until it comes out.

Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for this ARC. I went into this novel knowing it blew up on TikTok and was on the bestseller lists, so I already had very high expectations. I'm still kind of confused how this is sci-fi and not fantasy since it's basically a romantasy. I was a bit underwhelmed given these pre-conceived expectations, similarly to Fourth Wing. The dystopian setting and enemies-to-lovers romance gave a vibe of Fourth Wing x Divergent. It was a fun experience and journey; however, it didn't feel very moving or ground-breaking for me. The writing style and world-building were easy to follow, and the trials kept me wanting to know what happened next. Personally, I felt the characters and romance were what lacked. Unfortunately, it was hard to connect with them and to feel sparks of chemistry. I also didn't particularly enjoy the sex scenes. I would recommend this book to romantasy and dystopian enjoyers, but I wouldn't say it is a top/five-star read.

Thank you to Net Galley and publishers for the ARC!!! This was an interesting read, and I am excited to see what the next installment brings. I did enjoy the story line and the unique plot. =]

I absolutely loved Silver Elite! From the very first page I was completely hooked and I could not put it down. The friendships, the romance, the action, everything came together so perfectly. The characters felt so real and I was totally invested in their story. I laughed, I got nervous, I got excited, and I even got a little emotional at times.
The world building is amazing and the story moves so fast that I was constantly turning the pages to see what would happen next. I loved how the plot kept me guessing while still giving those moments that make your heart race. I am still thinking about the characters and their story even after finishing and I am already counting down the days until the next book.
This book gave me all the feels and so much excitement. It is worth every single star and I cannot recommend it enough. Five stars all the way.

I can see this series becoming the new most highly anticipated series for young/new adults.
A big thank you to the author, NetGalley, & Random House Worlds for the eARC in return for an honest review! My views are my own.
From start to finish this book was all my fantasy read must-haves wrapped up into one sexy as sin MMC and a storyline that wouldn't quit. You don't want to pass over this one folks! Select BUY NOW and thank me later! :-)
That is all! No regrets!!!!
5/5 stars

This book was just okay. Like I wasn’t super impressed by it, but it also wasn’t horrible. I think there could have been a lot of improvements to the world building and the dystopian aspects of it. It felt like more focused on the boys then the plot.

This is a dystopian/fantasy with world building, magic and romance. This combination comes together to create an epic story of adventure, betrayal, friendship and love.
Wren Darlington has spent her entire life hiding in plain sight. She is not only modified but has some of the rarest most powerful abilities. Mods aren’t allowed to roam free, they are either sent to labour camps or executed. After her guardian is taken to the capital for treason, Wren races to save him but is too late.
Wren is captured and forced into the academy of recruits to become the next set of Silver Elite soldiers. She is determined to fail out until she is contacted by the resistance group, recruiting her as a double agent to help mods like her.
Cross Redden is not only the son of the countries leader (and man that is determined to wipe out mods), he is also Wren’s Commanding Officer in Silver Elite training. Cross is a hard ass that does his best to resist the chemistry drawing him to Wren.
As Wren and Cross get closer, things are also heating up politically. Wren knows ahead of time cannot fully give herself to Cross, if he found out about her abilities, it would be the end for them.
This book was great and my first 5 star this year! It kept me interested all the way through and certainly worth the read!

LOVED this book!!!!! It's TOTALLY going to be the next Fourth Wing!! Some twists were predictable, but others came out of nowhere! I can't wait to continue the series!!!

Great premise, loved the marketing and how the book was as portrayed. But as soon as I got deep in the thick of it, this book really didn’t scratch the surface of dystopian novels and leaned heavily towards romance with some shock value added in.
The FMC and MMC are wishy washy at best and while the chemistry is… kinda there the MMC didn’t really have any redeeming factors and some of the things this man said would’ve turned me right off if not running for the hills, don’t touch me even with a 10 foot pole.
While I liked it as a casual read without digging into it, it kinda flopped for a novel they claimed was dystopian in nature.

Sadly this was a DNF for me. I could not connect with the writing or the story by any means. I'm really bummed because I had heard so much buzz around this release and my excitement was through the roof. However, it was not my cup of tea and that's alright.
