This book turned out to be so different than I thought it would be. This turned out to be an AMAZING story!

Giovanni Fabrizzi is an art restorer, as was his father before him. His father passes away and he is sent boxes of works of art. A client is looking for a painting to send for a wedding gift so Gio looks through his father's paintings for one to sell. He comes across an unsigned painting that seems to talk to him.

Through the relationship he builds with the painting he learns that his wife has been cheating and his family is hiding more secrets. Gio is sent through a whirlwind of self discovery and family secrets.

I loved reading the painting's secrets and experiences. I felt for Gio learning about those around him-his wife and father and uncle. I enjoyed his search to find the truth and see if the painting was really by Botticelli.

I was given the opportunity to read this book by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
