Such a fun read and perfect for the holiday season! I love an enemies to lovers trope and on top of that fake dating - SOLD!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Such a sweet, cozy Christmas read!
Small town with enemies to lovers or maybe this case Scrooge to Ms Claus romance, a fake relationship, and topped off with all the ginger bread houses and baked goods.
Daphne is a Christmas crazed baker and Tristan the grumpy architect gets strung together when Tristan gets put in charge of Christmas parties for his family’s business and is in need of some sweet treats.
I very much enjoyed this cozy read and unlike other romance books I loved how the main characters talked about issues and didn’t avoid them. All that was missing was some cocoa so make sure and stock up before starting because this is very easily a finish in one sitting book

Have treats on hand for this one!
Baking It Merry is a delightful holiday romance that will leave you craving a cozy night by the fire. Tristan, the grumpy architect, and Daphne, the cheerful holiday baker, are a hilarious and unexpected pair. Their witty banter and opposite personalities create a dynamic that was fun to watch develop and grow.
As they're forced to pretend to be in a relationship for Tristan's family, they find themselves growing closer. I enjoyed all of the festive touches throughout the story, and the side characters were great as well.
If you're looking for a feel-good romance to escape with this holiday season, Baking It Merry is the perfect choice, especially on audio! Be sure to have your favorite sweet treats on hand to enjoy alongside this charming small town story.

Cute holliday enemies to lovers with a opposites attract sub-plot. The main fmc is christmas spirit personified all cherry always looking like Christmas and sweet as sugar. What happens when she meets our mmc a grinch spicy grumpy Christmas aviodant ? The results was a great time and a good story

Very cute enemies to lovers/fake dating holiday novella!
Samantha Chase's holiday romances are the best. I love the holiday cheer in them plus they are fun to read. Daphne and Tristan are perfect if you love grumpy x sunshine trope. I liked their interactions a lot. I was smiling so much while listening to this.
Narrator Melanie Mende did a wonderful job. I really liked her voice.
Perfect holiday romance!

Daphne is a baker with so much joy and Christmas cheer it lights up a room. Tristan is an architect who is unhappy by the existence of happiness.. This is a grumpy sunshine story where our grumpy guys is unfortunately not just grumpy but also borders on unkind and bully behavior. He goes out of his way to say things and do things that upset out FMC because he does not like Christmas. He is very pushy with her and often forces her to work more than she would like to so he can feel comfortable. I found that Daphne was a very sweet character who worked hard and Tristan did not deserver her. I was not convinced at all that they were a good match and she deserved some one who would treat her well and never discourage her business or love of Christmas.

I struggled with the first half of the book. The frumpy was a little too grumpy for me. It was triggering abusive behavior to me. I am grateful for the softening and accepting of the other characters.

This cute little Christmas audiobook felt like the book equivalent of a Hallmark Christmas movie. It was short, sweet, not too complex, but absolutely adorable and put me in the right mood for the season. It’s a classic grumpy/sunshine with fake dating and it was sweet the whole way through.

This is the first book I ever read by Samantha Chase. I grabbed this holiday audiobook because, what can I say, I'm loving them. 😂 This was a super cute small town, enemies to lovers romance. It's a quick read/audiobook. Gave me all the comforting, cozy vibes of Christmas. Daphne has her pop up Christmas bakery in an office building for two months before Christmas. She meets Tristan, who works there, but he is not a fan of Christmas like she is. He's grumpy, and she's sunshine. Tristan needs her help (a.k.a. fake dating) because of a family situation, and she accepts. I loved these characters and their situations that had me laughing. The narrator, Melanie Mende, was excellent and brought out the joy in the story. I loved the whole festive magical feel of this. A very cheerful book that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Thank you to the publisher and netgalley for the gifted copy in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

This was a cute story. It was predictable but that is what I want and expect from a holiday romance. It's a great light, quick read to enjoy while drinking a cup of cocoa and eating a cupcake. My only complaint is that I didn't love the main characters. I didn't dislike them, but I didn't feel any sort of attachment to them either.
Thank you to #netgalley and #dreamscapemedia for an advanced audio version of the book.

#BakingItMerry is a solid 4.3 ⭐️ read to get you ready for the festive season #SamanthaChase with Dreamscape Media.
It’s a heart warm thing when Grumpy meets sunshine story. The main characters had my chuckling at times, and humming to the little spice in between! It’s most definitely a good quick read to get you in the mood for the holidays!

I read this in one sitting
I had this arc sat there for a few days, it’s a super quick read but it defo hit all the warm cosy feelings.
Xmas read ✅
Enermies to lovers ✅
Cutesy romance ✅
Daphne is a baker and hopefully one day wants her own shop but for now her cute pop up stall is her happiness.
Tristan is an architect in a business complex that despises the eye sore stalls that vacate the lobby every Christmas season.
Tristan is forced to ask Daphne to cater for several events his mother has asked him to do. She reluctantly agrees because of the possible future orders it could bring in. But Tristan’s mum walks in on them together (completely innocent) and Tristan realises that Daphne might be his Christmas answer to making his parent happy (his fake girlfriend)
As time passes what was fake slowly blossoms into more.
I loved the spicy moment when they were angry at each other was actually quite funny.
This is a defo MUST read over the Xmas period and will leave you smiling
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you netgalley, dreamscape media and Samantha chase for the ARC
I loved it!!!!
(I even decided half way through the audio book to bake cookies while listening 😂)

I am ready to put my tree out and go all out for the holidays!!
Tristan and Daphne are my new fav holiday couple. This was an amazing start of my Xmas reads. Grumpy/Sunshine, fake dating, enemies to lovers, do I need to say more?? Oh yes, he definitely falls first!!
From the beginning of the book, you get hooked on their story. The way it escalates and quickly -but closed doors- is fantastic. I genuinely enjoyed their relationship, the cute banter back and forth, they way his heart grows -but not three sizes #iykyk-
The narrator, Melanie Mendez, was phenomenal! She really brought the story to life and made me enjoy it even more!
Perfect small town, holiday romance!

The perfect Christmas book to curl up with along with a cup of hot cocoa!
Samantha Chase's "Baking It Merry" is everything you want in a holiday romance: warm, festive, and utterly delightful. From the very beginning, this enemies-to-lovers story pulls you in with the charm of a small town, holiday magic, and the joy of a little pop-up bakery that makes you wish you could taste all those sweet treats yourself.
The story centers around Daphne Noelle, the owner of a whimsical bake shop that only operates for two months out of the year, right in the lobby of an upscale office building. Her enthusiasm for the holiday season and her dream-come-true bakery light up the place—except for one person. Tristan, a grumpy architect, is thoroughly unimpressed with the festive cheer and especially the giant gingerbread house Daphne’s booth is modeled after. He’s determined to ruin her fun, but fate has other plans.
The chemistry between Daphne and Tristan is what makes this book a joy to read. Tristan starts out as a classic holiday grinch, but watching him gradually warm up to Daphne (and her infectious love of Christmas) is heart-melting. Daphne, on the other hand, is such a lovable, exuberant character that you can’t help but root for her from the start. When Tristan finds himself in a tricky family situation, Daphne’s compassion and kindness shine through, and their relationship slowly transforms from rivalry to something deeper.
The festive setting really adds to the magic of this story. From the descriptions of Daphne’s gingerbread-themed shop to the small-town holiday vibe, the book makes you feel like you’re right there in the middle of Christmas cheer. The author does a great job capturing that cozy holiday feeling that makes you want to sip cocoa by the fire while reading.
Melanie Mendez’s narration deserves a special mention. She brings these characters to life with warmth and emotion, perfectly capturing both the tension and the heartwarming moments between Daphne and Tristan. Her voice makes the story even more engaging, enhancing the reading experience in the best way.
Overall, "Baking It Merry" is the ultimate holiday romance—sweet, uplifting, and filled with Christmas spirit. If you're looking for a feel-good story to put you in a festive mood, this is definitely the book to pick up!

This is a cute, little enemies to lovers holiday read.
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape for the chance to read this arc!

Thanks to Dreamscape Media, Samantha Chase, and Netgalley for the opportunity to listen to this alc of Baking It Merry. All thoughts are my own.
This is your classic enemies to lovers holiday book. Daphne is a baker who seasonally works in Tristan, who do not get along. After "forced" to work together for a few holidays party. During the first party Tristan impulsively bursts out they are dating so the continue to "fake date".
While this book cringe worthy at times, I throughly still enjoyed it. The narrator was just okay, my biggest change as it being dual povs that their was a second narrator.
3.5 stars.

The perfect sweet holiday romance. My only criticism is Jeff is horrible and I didn’t think that storyline was necessary.

This is a fun holiday book about a young woman, Daphne, who has had a holiday booth in the lobby of a high rise building, along with several other vendors. She sells muffins, cupcakes, cookies, and takes orders for other baked goods. One guy in the building, Tristan, is a real grump and he glares at the vendors on his way into work.
He thinks it's all tacky, especially Daphne's booth. He wants all the vendors removed, but Daphne really rubs him the wrong way.
When his family assigns him as the host of several holiday parties, they suggest that he does something simple like a dessert party. His assistant suggests using Daphne's skills as a baker and caterer. Tristan reluctantly agrees and he's impressed by Daphne's skills, both planning and baking. And he grows to like her more and more. And then they start to like each other a lot.
Of course there is a big issue that causes the new couple difficulties, and they need to get to the bottom of it.
Fun, easy to read, sexiness behind closed doors. A nice holiday read. I listened to the audio version. The narrator was very nice to listen to.

This is the perfect super cute holiday romance. I'm super excited for holiday baking as well now. I love them so much. They're so cute and I love the grumpy sunshine of the two of them. I listened to the audio book and it was perfectly done. This is amazing.

Baking it Merry by
This book was so sweet and I ate it all up!!
You know I can’t resist a good grumpy x sunshine! And then throw in baked goods PLUS holiday time! Ugh I’m done for. 🎄🥰
I really enjoyed the narrator, Melanie Mendez, as well!
Daphne Noelle is festive and just as sweet as her delicious baked goods. Tristan is the complete opposite. So when chance throws them together, will they mix well or explode? Read this and find out!
