Given the fact that I am from the Midwest, I felt that I might find a lot of familiar situations and feelings throughout this memoir. It also hits close to home as I am in the process of moving to a new house and I am already feeling nostalgic and sad about the memories I will be leaving behind in my current house. The story is about how the author and her husband purchase a decrepit farmhouse outside of Lincoln, NE and the struggle and process that whole endeavor takes. A fan of Fixer-Upper, I enjoyed hearing about renovating, as well as the love story that goes along with it.
