Some of the ideas were really cute. They just weren't really what I was expecting. I don't want to be cutting up something that might be wearable or usable to turn into a pouch or an iPad sleeve. Vintage textiles have gotten expensive. If I'm buying vintage, I want to be able to put a bit of a modern twist on it.

I like the variety of projects in this book, but many of them require a lot more work than a beginner could handle. The photography in the book is really well done to provide examples for the projects. Thank you for the review copy of this book.
