The story beautifully balances humor and emotion, capturing the messy, imperfect nature of grief, love, and starting over. Madeline and Cooper’s journey to finding themselves—and each other—is both inspiring and swoon-worthy.

Cute, cute, cute!!!

Madeline is a single aunt with a nagging mother. Cooper needs a fake family to help the resort. Their meet cute was adorable and their relationship was even better. The characters were charming and this book was just everything.

Oh Cooper the book boyfriend you are! I mean dreamy, charming, stubborn as hell, and relatable! I love how Juliana always has characters that have some sort of struggle they are working on as individuals that impacts the love story because it's realistic and makes for a page turner! This book is also so light and comedic that it feels like a warm hug while drinking hot cocoa and watching families ski at a resort! This was such a quick easy holiday romance and I adored Madeline and Cooper! Half pint and mini cooper were pretty cool too!!!
3.5 stars!

This was such a sweet romance that was the best start to the holiday season! I really enjoyed the banter between the two main characters and also was swooning over Cooper’s care for Madeline! I was giggling over Half-Pint’s attitude, as it reminded me of my four year old’s personality. I was a little thrown off by the punctuation errors in the writing. I’m hoping that is fixed before publishing to paperback!

I truly was blown away by this book; I could hardly wait for it from the moment I discovered Juliana Smith on bookstagram! It did not disappoint by any means and was honestly even better than I even expected. The characters are beautifully written and I absolutely love their meet-cute at the beginning. I swear that it made my heart grow a few sizes and I audibly exclaimed "awww!" and then promptly laughed. It was just really wonderful! I loved how authentic it all felt, the perfect balance between romance and entirely realistic family drama. This was truly the wholesome read that everyone needs to read and hold onto.

Coop was an intriguing character in Baggage Claim, so I'm glad he got his own book! He was so real with his thoughts, so human! And I adore Madeline's character! These two are a perfect fit for each other!

FINN AND OLIVE, so good to see them back!!

“She was the form of sunshine that showed up right after a bad rainstorm. The sun that made rainbows appear and made you look around and think there were a whole lot of good things in this life. Especially after you've experienced all the bad ones.”

This charming opposites-attract rom-com had all the cozy vibes! When reserved Madeline partners with confident ski instructor Cooper to help ease her mother’s nerves about single parenting and to save his family ski lodge, sparks (and laughs) fly…

What I loved:
⛷️Cooper is the ultimate Golden Retriever MMC—charming, goofy, and oh so loving. His vulnerability and journey through grief and insecurities were beautifully written.

🎁The kids stole the show, I loved Mini Coop and Half Pint! Piper’s sass and Cooper’s hilarious attempts to win her over melted me.

🫶The chemistry and banter between Madeline and Cooper were swoon-worthy, and the family dynamics added so much depth to the story.

If you’re looking for a wholesome, funny, and heartwarming winter read, Snowed Under is the perfect choice to warm your heart this season!

This was so cute and perfect for the season! I loved the ski lodge setting and the kids added a lot of personality to the story. I admired Madeleine’s character as she had to balance school, work, and her brother’s kids while still overcoming her grief. I loved how Cooper brought her back into herself, how they understood each other’s grief and helped each other grow. I enjoyed the realistic quality of sudden loss and grief putting a strain on family relationships and the struggle it is to overcome it. Would definitely recommend if you love kids in books and a book with a fun wintery atmosphere.
