I requested this one back in the day as I had every intention of reading it. However, its been years and I still haven't gotten around to it and while I feel guilty at not reviewing a book I think that I need to admit to myself that I won't be reading this one anytime soon....if at all.

This was a interesting book, I enjoyed the intrigue and idea of the curse. I loved Dodie and Leopold as characters. They were well written and the pace of the book was great for me, it kept me interested and wanting to read more.

While there were a few parts that I'm not sure about such as the change in tenses, it didn't pull me completely from the book and for the most part I was able to overlook it.

It was a good book, the rest of the series might not go straight to the top of my to read pile, they will probably be read at some point when I feel like going back to see what happens later on down the line.
