I have never felt this uncomfortable reading any book than this one. The book was not only full of male gaze but it was written in a way that made it extremely uncomfortable. When the part of the baby actual birth and after activities came and the way the author chose to put the conversation and bowing I was soooo uncomfortable that I was unable to open the Netgalley just because of this book.
I strongly DNF this book afterwards. I physically could not make myself reopen the app until this book past the expiration date. I don't post DNF book reviews on goodreads so I am only writing it here for the eyes of the author and the publisher.

One of my top reads of the year. 5stars across the board. Thought provoking and a true conversational book. Will absolutely be adding this to my next group read with other bibliophiles!!! Enjoyed enjoyed enjoyed.

I love this book. I always wondered, and even wished that this type of technology would be around in the future. It is such a cool look at what could be in the somewhat near future. This book was well written, and it kept me engaged throughout the whole book.

Thank you to NetGalley, to the author, and to the publisher for this complementary ARC in exchange for my honest review!!!

I was thoroughly engrossed in this book due to how well it was written. The plot was intriguing, characters were great, and the writing was clear. I definitely want to read more by this author!

This was a strong concept in the scifi genre, I thought it was a great idea about making a dream baby. The plot worked well overall and was engaged with what was going on. The characters were everything that I was looking for and enjoyed how well they worked in this universe. Matthew Pallamary was able to write a strong story and was glad I got to read this.

The Hummingbird Whisperer by Matthew Pallamary offers a fascinating exploration of technology and parenthood, envisioning a future where dream children are created in perfect conditions. While the premise is intriguing and filled with imaginative concepts, the execution sometimes feels overwhelming and lacks depth in character development. It’s a thought-provoking read, but it leaves you wanting more emotional connection.
