Truthfully, I didn't do my due diligence when requesting this title - I had not noticed that it was geared toward women with ADHD. However, I still found it to be a valuable source of information when it comes to ADHD in women and how it goes unnoticed. It was also a very validating read; though I am male, I related to so much of what I read. I have long struggled with ADHD, and while my situation may not be exactly the same, I am glad that the author is doing work to shed light on the struggle that so many face. I know what it feels like to be feel completely invalidated while you're fighting just to keep your head above water in your day to day life. I hope the author's work will help spread awareness and make ADHD in women (and the condition overall) a more accepted and understood facet of the mental health conversation.
