First thing I have to say about this book is the inaccurate statement that if a GoFund donation is antonymous that the beneficiary (or creator) can’t Even see who that was….thats not the case. They can see who donated the money.
Ok so other than that glaring mistake I really loved this book. I felt terrible that River went thru everything she did. I loved the love story of the book and I loved the mystery. That twist at the end….wow.

Thank you Penguin and Netgalley for this eARC, these opinions are my own. River lost everything when her house burned down, even her father who died in the fire. Now, thanks to an anonymous donor, she’s received 2 million dollars. Why would someone give her that kind of money and who was it? It’s also been months since she’s seen or heard from her mother. The donor could have been anyone though she doubts it’s her coworker Logan who seems to o hate her. Logan had his own secrets and his own connection to River’s family. Their lives become more intertwined when he helps her when her ex comes around. Things begin to unravel when she learns more about her families past. With the help of her friend Tawny she seek to find answers. Who gave her the money? Where is her mom? What happened the night of the fire? When everyone around her has secrets to keep she’ll have to figure out just who she can trust. A quick read that equal parts romance and mystery! The intrigue and tension made for a great mystery and the romance had me in my feels!

Sloan Harlow is always so twisty for me. I think I know what is going on but then things start going a different direction and I am trying to catch up. All We Lost Was Everything had me feeling for River so much. She was going through so much and just trying to pick up her life. Then she gets involved with a boy and thinks she is moving on but finds out some dark secrets about his relationship to her dad. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see how this was all going to play out.

My head is spinning! Everytime I thought I knew something I was thrown a curvball!! The twists just kept coming in the best way! A lot of times authors lose the plot to get to the twists but this wasn't the case at all. Everything made since and came together. Definitely a must read!

OMG!! There's a lot to unpack in this book but I loved how it all eventually becomes uncovered. The main character River loses everything including her father in a house fire, her mom has been gone for months as she usually goes hiking and then pops back up but River hasn't heard from her in a while. Also 2 mil was donated to her go fund me after the fire that she refused to spend. This book kept me turning the pages for sure. Fantastic book.

I truly enjoyed the twists and turns in this book, but I felt the heartbreak was a lot. She couldn’t catch a break. Definitely kept me interested.

This book had me hooked from the start! River is going through so much—grieving her dad, dealing with her mom’s disappearance, and feeling stuck in her small town. Then there’s Logan, the mysterious, hot diner regular who suddenly seems interested. Add in her ex, Noah, and things get complicated fast. But just when she starts thinking about love, shocking new info about the fire that killed her dad turns everything upside down.
I couldn’t stop reading because I had to know how it all connected. The mystery was definitely the best part—full of twists, tension, and that constant feeling that something wasn’t quite right. I also loved the dual POV and the letter interludes, which added so much depth to the story.
If I’m being honest, the romance felt a little too instant for me, but I was way more invested in the secrets surrounding the fire, her mom, and her family’s past anyway. And in the end, I loved how all the different pieces came together.
If you’re into books that mix romance with mystery and keep you guessing, this is definitely worth a read!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

This was beautifully written. Loved every moment and the twist was perfect. I can't wait to read more from this author.

This book was exceptional. It is the second work I have read by Sloan Harlow, and I am truly captivated by her writing style. I find myself deeply engaged with her characters and their narratives, often taken by surprise by the numerous twists and turns throughout the story.

Wowza this book was a surprise! When you meet River, she’s already had it the worst one possibly can. Her mom has disappeared, her house burned down and took her father’s life with it. Not to mention her boyfriend broke up with her right before. The story takes us through River trying to figure out her new normal and discovering that not everything is as it seems along the way. I really didn’t anticipate the twists in this one and read it within a day! The first half is a bit slower but it really picks up at the end and will have you guessing!

I had received another story from this author on here asks liked it, so tried for this one. Grateful I did! ! Will look at finding other things by this author. I am grateful for the early access, thank you to those that allowed it!

Wow wow! A twist that will surprise you! I enjoyed reading this book loved seeing River go through her grief in this book! You HAVE to read this book you will not regret it!!

This book was so good! This is the second book I have read of Sloan Harlow’s. I love her writing. I get so pulled into her characters and their lives and then get off guard by all the twists and turns.

Everything We Never Said was one of my favorite books last year, so I could not pass up the opportunity to read this! I had no idea what was going on, and once again, that twist took me OUT. Go in blind if you can but stay for the bomb drops.

Thanks to NetGalley and Penguin Group Penguin Young Readers for access to this title. All opinions expressed are my own.
First, this book was a pure guilty pleasure. Second, I didn't even read the synopsis when I chose it, it was the cover that seduced me to hit the "Read It" button.
Narrated by River and Logan, All We Lost Was Everything is part mystery and part romance- two ingredients that kept me turning the pages. It takes a little time before the twists arrive but when they do, it is worth it! I can see my teen readers gulping this book up fast. The chapters are not too long and the plot never fizzles. I will say that this is also sometimes described as "dark romance" but the sex scenes are not too outrageous. No one needs to panic if you see your teen reading this title.

AllWeLostWasEverything #NetGalley

I loved this book! The cover is what initially peaked my interest, but ultimately I decided to give it a shot thinking this would be an easy read, just a typical romance with perhaps a few twists and turns - which I do rather enjoy. I really wasn’t expecting this to keep me engaged, but I found the complexities of the storyline, characters and how everything plays out in the book rather surprising. Most of the time with thrillers I have the ending figured out well before I’m half way through…..I was correct in thinking there would be some twists but things didn’t exactly play out as I had thought they would.
I got the same vibes with this book that I did when reading some of Colleen Hoover’s books and also the first book of the Knockemout series (Things We Never Got Over) by Lucy Score. I will absolutely be sharing this book with fellow romance readers. Those that are considering the description of dark romance, please keep in mind that all though there are spicy parts, this is not smut. If you’re looking to dabble in a mysterious, drama filled romance with some steamy sections, then this might be just the book for you. I will throw out there that there may be a few triggers for those who are sensitive to alcohol abuse, loss of a parent, and grief.
I would like to thank Sloan Harlow, NetGalley, and PENGUIN GROUP for the advanced copy of this ebook in exchange for my honest review. Very rarely do I give out five stars but this book really caught my attention and kept me wanting to know how everything would work out in the end. I can’t wait to see what Sloan Harlow comes up with next

This was such a great story. So many nuances and emotions packed into a very quick read. I really enjoyed the romance aspects and all the twists and turns that made this book very suspenseful. Definitely worth a read!

Love, love the book! This is the second book by Sloan Harlow that I have gotten the pleasure to read because of NetGalley. River has lost everything. She's young, her mother went on a hike almost a year ago and never returned but she had done this in the past and River had hope until her house caught fire and she escaped but her father died in the fire. She truly lost everything. She has her Aunt and her best friend Tawny to lean on as she navigates her new life. She works at the local restaurant where she meets Logan. River is totally into Logan but the vibe is not returned. River also is trying to find who donated 2 million dollars to her GoFundMe from when her house burned. The story takes you on so many turns of realizing who is really there for you and what it means to live.

Thank you Netgalley and Penguin Group for allowing me to read this e-Arc!
This was def a lot longer than I expected the story to go which I didn’t like so much and I caught myself getting bored which was unfortunate because I wanted to like this book a lot but I think it wasn’t it for me which is totally fine!
You got some twist in here for sure that keeps you on your toes and I thought the author did well with that but could have added more details with the characters as I felt it lacked a little.
Overall I thought this story was okay and would recommend it to others.

The book in the start is terribly slow but the end was something I did not see coming at all. So, I was glad that I didn't leave the book hanging and finished it.
