This book had me hooked with its emotional depth and complex characters. The story explores family, love, and secrets in such a way that you can't help but be drawn in.

Enjoyed the story and characters but a bit too young adult for me. I flew through it and did like the book just meant for a younger crowd. Thank you NetGalley for this arc

When this book starts out the main character, River has lost everything. Her mother has disappeared months ago, her father was killed in the house fire that destroyed all her belongings and almost killed her. Months before she had been deserted by her longtime boyfriend. The only thing she has is one female relative that she lives with and her best friend Tawny with whom she works at a local diner in the small town in Arizona. As the story unfolds readers are treated to hints about all the reasons these things happened to River, and they all come together in the end in a startling way. The characters in this novel are well done and the plot is excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed this well-written mystery and romance. Thanks to #NetGalley and #Sloan Harlow#AllWeLostWasEverything for the opportunity to read and review this very excellent book.

This book pulls you in from the beginning and doesn't let you go, until the end.
River is a strong character who is going through a lot!
I really liked River and felt for her as she discovers more about her family's past.
I liked how the relationship between her and Logan blossomed. There were some things that came up and things that could pull them apart, but they realized they both really needed each other.
Her Aunt is a gem and does her best to take care of River.
There were some twists at the end that I was not expecting.

A good read for young adults who are going through a hard time.

Thanks NetGalley for this ARC.

I enjoyed this! I read YA but felt this felt a little too young in parts? Maybe that's me, I still had a great time reading, appreciated the twists and turns, characters were well developed will read more by this author for sure!

3.5 I really enjoyed this book. And I’m very thankful for getting an Arc. I enjoyed the mystery and the romance in this book. It got brought down to a 3.5 because there was a plot twist I that seem to unbelievable to me.

Synopsis: River has had a difficult year. Her mom disappeared, her father was killed and her boyfriend broke up with her. The only people she can count on are her best friend Tawny and Tia Anna. River uncovers some dark secrets about her family. How can she go on?

Thoughts: This is the second Sloan Harlow book that I’ve read, and I really liked it. There are twists and turns that I was not expecting. This was a slow read in the beginning but the pace picked up around 40% of the book.

Thank you to Sloan Harlow, Penguin Random House and NetGalley for the advanced copy.

Big thank you NetGalley and to the publisher for the chance to review this book pre-release. This was my first book from this author, and I really enjoyed it. It had some good twists & turns, though I did wish that the ending had a stronger impact in my opinion. I enjoyed it though, and will certainly try more by Ms, Harlow! A more formal review will be available on my IG/TikTok and Goodreads for release. 3.75 stars

I thoroughly enjoyed this dark, twisty thriller, geared toward a teen/young adult audience. After her mother walks out and a house fire takes her father's life, eighteen-year-old River is just trying to keep her head above water. An anonymous two million dollar GoFundMe donation throws River for a loop, but she vows not to use the money - while she simultaneously tries to figure out the donor's identity. Meanwhile, River keeps busy working at the local diner alongside her best friend, while trying to dodge both her ex-boyfriend (Noah) and her alluring but standoffish coworker (Logan). A series of events leads River to question her family background and history. Was the fire really an accident? Where is her mother? And why does it seem like *everyone* has something to hide? All We Lost Was Everything kept me guessing, and I simply did not see the layers of twists coming. Bonus points for a half Filipina protagonist and for Tigery the cat.

Thank you NetGalley and PENGUIN GROUP For the Arc!

Honestly, the beginning of the book was interesting. We get to learn about River and the tragedy that befell on her family, years later where she is still mourning the loss of her father and the what if's of her mother ever returning. It was around the 20-50% mark where things felt they halted quite a lot. River got with Logan, her Ex was back in her life. And the romance with Logan took a lot from the thriller aspect. It wasn't until halfway that the book began to pick up again, and made everything fly by for me.

I was obsessed with finding out all the mysteries and plots going on. Some of them left me a bit confused, but overall, the thrill was there and I was into it. The ending of the book was okay. I wish we got to know more on what happened with Noah's father and a bit more time with how Logan and River reconciled afterwards.

Overall it was a great read and I can't wait for more!

This book totally sucked me in! Even though it's marketed as YA, I think adults will love it too. It's got the whole package: sweet romance, a mystery that keeps you guessing, and some seriously surprising plot twists. If you're looking for a quick read with a dash of romance and and character's who all have secrets, you should definitely check this one out.

Thank you to NetGalley and PENGUIN GROUP Penguin Young Readers Group for an ARC of this book. I voluntarily read it and gave an honest review.

I was very hopeful after reading the reviews, but I had a hard time with this one. I didn't connect to the characters and I felt it was really slow at the beginning, so I became disinterested.

Maybe this was just me.

Thank you for the opportunity to read the ARC.

This book fell flat for me. I feel like it was obviously written for a younger audience. I do believe younger audiences would enjoy this. It was not my taste.

Sloan’s story follows the life of teenage River after she loses her dad in a house fire. This book is full of twists and turns. You follow River as she navigates loss, betrayal, forgiveness and healing. I couldn’t put this book down. Five stars. I can’t wait until it hits the shelves!

Sadly, this wasn't for me. I was confused at the ending because I thought it would be more dramatic and have more suspense. Unfortunately, it fell flat for me, and I didn't think much happened.

I would say it was more like 3.5 stars.

She loses her father in a fire she barely survives. Her mother has been gone for a year just leaving one day. As she tries to move on secrets start to unravel. A few times pacing was off but overall was good.

3.5 ⭐️

I honestly didn’t know where this was going or what the plot even was for the majority of the book, but at the same time it was a super fun YA??? I totally would’ve loved this in high school!! Definitely recommend for a YA mystery/romance. Thank you to Penguin Group for the advanced copy!!

I like this book but its okay I think it was written for a juvenile reader. I think the story has a lot of plot holes I am confused about her and Logan you don't find out his secret till the end but its a weird secret at first I thought because he was trying to get close to her that he was some serial killer. Their love in the beginning was raw and obsessive enemies to lovers trope but like then I find out hes like some kind of weird stalker and he wanted to get close to her because of her dad, she Became so obsessive trying to figure out who gave her the donation for her gofundme. I don't understand if its like a juvenile readers ya romance but it has some spice which is odd to me. I think it was okay it wasn't the best story in my opinion.

Thank you netgalley for the book to review.
