Lara Banks is a former Broadway dancer who was headed to the big time when something happened to cause her to join a Las Vegas dance troupe. Dominic Castillo is an experienced SEAL who has a large, close family as well as his SEAL Team who are like brothers.
One member of Dominic’s team, Phillip Banks, was captured on their last mission and Dominic has been assigned to find and protect Phillip’s sister. What a stubborn woman she is! She doesn’t admit she even has a brother and refuses Dominic’s protection. When she finds herself in trouble , NOW she wants Dominic’s help, but is he anywhere around?
Dominic has a large, loving family and is unable to understand why Lara and her brother are so estranged. There is plenty of hot sex in this story as Dominic and Lara let down the barriers between them, even if it’s only temporarily, until Phillip is rescued.
I really enjoyed the suspense in this story as everytime you think Dominic has tied up the loose ends something else happens and the woman he loves is once again in danger. Lara is smart, majoring in cyber security as she finishes her college degree, but sometimes that intelligence gets in the way of allowing anyone to take care of her, especially her brother or any member of his SEAL Team. I recommend looking forward to the release of this book in August. Lots of love, angst, and a very satisfying ending.
