Full disclosure: I received an advance copy of this novel from Jeneva Rose in exchange for my thoughts.

The twists, the turns... the murder?

Once again, I have fallen in love with one of Jeneva Rose's books, it was just such a thrilling addicting read -- I cannot -- so many twists, turns, and schemes. I loved it so much!

The Perfect Divorce? How about the Perfect Thriller? Jeneva Rose is so great at developing characters, pacing, and keeping you guessing. Perfect amount of red herrings. The twists were fun, but not totally out of left field. will recommend this to friends!

Yes yes yes! I read The Perfect Marriage just before this one because I had been dying to read this. The continuation of the TPM was seamless. The writing is top tier. The twists? Chefs kiss. This book was SO good, right up there with TPM. Jeneva Rose, I'm a huge fan.

The Perfect Divorce is a fast-paced read that delivers the kind of page turning drama fans have come to expect from Jeneva Rose. It’s an easy read with a plot that moves quickly. This is definitely a single day read! The author does a good job of building suspense and writing realistic dialogue, that somehow works regardless of how unrealistic the characters really are.

The story is familiar to the first in the series, so if you enjoyed The Perfect Marriage you’ll love this! Somehow we are still getting away with murder, and I lowkey love that. An overall easy and enjoyable read! Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for this ARC!

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC of "The Perfect Divorce." I was super excited about the sequel to "The Perfect Marriage" that I loved so much! But, this one just didn't meet my expectations. I think the audio would be better since Julia Whelan narrates it, and it maybe I would have enjoyed it more if "The Perfect Marriage" was a more recent read for myself.

Fast-paced and packed with sharp twists, The Perfect Divorce delivers exactly what I’ve come to expect from Jeneva Rose—an addicting, wild ride. While I saw the twists coming, getting there was still a fun, tension-filled experience. The drama between Sarah and Bob kept me hooked as secrets unraveled and the stakes escalated. Another great one from Jeneva Rose!

Thank you NetGalley & Blackstone Publishing for the e-arc in exchange for my honest review.

Well well well…. Jeneva decided to tie up some ends and throw some more mess to marital life. Its a twisty-curvy fun ride that flies by with quick short chapters. The characters have been a bit more fleshed out and you get more behind the scenes of their lives while it all goes off the rails.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC. I loved A Perfect Marriage, and wow! A Perfect Divorce was out of her mind amazing. I didn't see any of the twist coming.

Jeneva Rose never ever disappoints me and this book is no exception! This was the continuation of Sarah Morgan’s story from The Perfect Marriage. As I would expect, it’s full of twists and turns and keeps you guessing! It is fast paced and I couldn’t put it down and recommend to everyone I talk to!

Another 5 star from Jeneva. She knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat. Definitely wouldn’t want to cross Sarah. Enjoyed this sequel and it wouldn’t hurt my feelings if there were more books in this series.

I was excited to return to Sarah Morgan’s story after The Perfect Marriage, but this sequel did not quite deliver the same impact.

The premise had a lot of potential, especially with the case being reopened and Sarah’s personal life falling apart, but the execution felt a bit over the top. Some of the twists were entertaining, but others stretched believability to the point where it pulled me out of the story. I also found it harder to connect with the characters this time, which made the emotional stakes feel less compelling.

That said, the pacing is quick, and Jeneva Rose’s signature drama and unexpected turns are definitely present. Readers who enjoy fast-paced, high-drama domestic thrillers will likely still find this an entertaining escape.

Overall, while it had its moments, it did not stand out for me the way Rose’s earlier work did.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for my gifted review copy.

The perfect sequel. This was such a great follow up to The Perfect Marriage, if you have not already read that one, please go read it before starting this one. I really enjoyed The Perfect Marriage when I read it a few years ago, and I reread it before starting this one. It’s funny, new-ish cast with the same issues, but with more variables… While dealing with divorce proceedings, people go missing and accusations are hurled all over the place. I don’t want to give anything away, but the twists were clever and the story was so good. Great read, highly recommend.

The sequel to “The Perfect Marriage” had me on the edge of my seat, so much so that I read it in one day. I love the sarcastic bits of humor throughout.

She did it again! Twists and turns galore. I guessed a few, but definitely not them all! Jeneva has been hit or miss with me with her writing, but I love the style she uses in this series. The ending though! I don't know if I believe that she could get away with everything again for the second time. I was really hoping she would get caught and the Sheriff would be onto her. I don't know if the semi open ending means that there will be another one...but if there is, I hope she gets caught.

The Perfect Divorce by Jeneva Rose was a great sequel to The Perfect Marriage and had me hooked early! The book takes place 11 years after the original and Sarah is in the process of attempting to divorce Bob, after discovering he cheated on her. The process is becoming increasingly contentious and only gets more complicated with the reopening of Kelly Summers case, a scandal involving former sheriff Scott Summers, and a missing woman. I could barely put this book down and didn't know who to trust! Just like the first book, I found myself questioning each characters actions and motives and really enjoyed this read! And of course, I was blown away by the ending! Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher, and author for a copy of this eARC in exchange for an honest review.

The perfect divorce is exactly what I needed and wanted from this sequel. I liked how it gave a little previous info from the last book as it’s been about a year since I’ve read it. Both books went together smoothly. If you loved the perfect marriage you definitely need to check this book out!!!

This sequel is about Sarah Morgan who is now married to Bob Miller and they have a child together. Sarah finds out that Bob cheated on her like her husband before Adam who went to jail for killing his mistress which he was framed by Sarah and Bob. The officer who ran the investigation on Adam get involved in a DUI where evidences comes up to reopen Adam’s case 12 years later. This causes Sarah and Bob to need to make some smart choices while Sarah files for divorce from Bob. There are many more twists and turns in this story.

P.S. make sure you read the acknowledgment!! So excited!!

When I first read The Perfect Marriage, I never imagined Jeneva Rose would write a sequel. But here we are, several years later, and she's given us another book full of twists and turns. This time around, you might have a hunch about who’s behind everything, but it still manages to leave you in disbelief.

While I do think you could read The Perfect Divorce without having read the first one, having that background from The Perfect Marriage definitely adds more depth to the story. Surprisingly, I actually enjoyed this one more than the first—definitely not how it usually goes with sequels!

I loved The Perfect Marriage and was excited to jump into this. The Perfect Divorce picks up years later, Sarah now has a daughter with Bob, who she is actively divorcing after finding out he had a one night stand and cheated on her.

Soon after, Stacey (the one night stand) goes missing and Bob is being questioned by the police as he starts to wonder if Sarah is playing games and framing him.

Another POV is from the new sheriff, trying to clean up a mess on the Summer’s case when DNA from a police office is matched to the third unknown DNA from the from book 1. The public is starting to question if Adam really was innocent wrongfully received the death sentence. The sloppy police job doesn’t help, and the new detective is under pressure to get to the bottom of it.

This was fast paced, engaging and I loved seeing more of these characters in this cat and mouse game !

Thanks to NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing for the ARC in exchange for an honest review. Release date 4/15/25.
