This book was better than the first one in my opinion because there were less plot holes and Adam isn't in it. I think Jeneva Rose can do a good job crafting a bingeable thriller to keep you hooked, but her twists occasionally make me mad- this was better than some of her others!

So much fun! I love Jeneva, definitely a must read author for me. Will no doubt be popular. Can’t wait for the next one!

Jeneva Rose delivers a smart and engaging story in The Perfect Divorce, unpacking marriage, reinvention, and second chances with wit and heart. Her protagonists grapple with realistic dilemmas—identity, independence, reconciliation—in a setting that feels lived‑in and authentic. Dialogue snaps, emotional beats land with honesty, and the comedic undertones keep the tone light even as serious questions emerge. Rose manages the balance between drama and hope gracefully. The novel’s ultimate message about self‑worth, growth, and new beginnings feels earned and satisfying. Warm, funny, and emotionally rich—The Perfect Divorce charms and uplifts.

I loved this book so much. I was on the edge of my seat from the moment I started. The twist at the end caused my heart to drop! Jenna Rose is also an automatic read for me.

It seemed like there was a new twist on every page of this book and you didn’t get the full extent of how far the character of Sarah was willing to go until the very end. Sarah is a full-blown psychopath with Bob not far behind. I found myself shaking my head as the story unfolded that Sarah could actually get away with her depravity but had to keep reading to see what was next. It seemed that Sarah had to be the one responsible for most of what was happening along the way but there were a couple of unexpected twists I didn’t anticipate. The author says she is not done with Sarah yet so it will be interesting to see what she has in-store for her in the next book.

The Perfect Marriage was actually not one of my favorite thrillers. I remember finding it incredibly unbelievable. However, the Perfect Divorce was so much fun to read! I think I was able to suspend some of my disbelief (especially coming from a family of lawyers), but I also found this one much more well written.

The perfect divorce was a great follow up to Geneva Rose’s book the perfect marriage… It was just a twisty, Justice suspenseful and fully had me on the edge of my seat. For lovers of suspense and thrill, and maybe a little blood spillage..

The Perfect Divorce picks up years later after the first book in the series, The Perfect Marriage. These were my first books by the author and the first one had such an amazing twist at the end, I was very excited to move into book 2. I enjoyed most of the same characters throughout the second book, and how some of them come together. I enjoyed the book overall, however I feel as if the first one had slightly more suspense but both had very surprising twists at the end which keeps me wanting to check out more books by this author! I will definitely recommend this series and hope there is a 3rd book in the works!

The Perfect Marriage is one of my all-time favorite thrillers and one of the books I measure other books against, so I was ecstatic to find out Sarah Morgan was returning. And oh boy is she back, and yes, she's still a bad ass bitch.
Sarah and Bob, her second husband are getting divorced. Unfortunately for him, Bob was unfaithful which is pretty stupid because we all know Sarah doesn't condone infidelity. But that is just one of things happening, because the evidence that convicted Sarah's first husband, Adam, is being called into question and when that case reopens a whole other can of worms is unleashed.
As usual I didn't see exactly where this was going and I was very glad to read in the author's note that this is not the end of Sarah's story

THIS IS HOW YOU WRITE A SEQUEL!!!!!!! This was incredible and hooked me from the start and kept my attention the entire time

Sarah Morgan is a ruthless mastermind that Jeneva Rose has once again proven should not be messed with. I loved the Perfect Marriage and when I heard there was going to be a sequel I was excited and curious as to how Jeneva Rose would continue Sarah's Story. The Perfect Divorce did not disappoint. Right away I was drawn in by the inclusion of the unknown point of view chapter leading up to Sarah and Bob's entrance into the story and their custody battle over Summer.
I felt this sequel tied together a lot of loose ends from the Perfect Marriage, especially some details about Sarah and Bob's history/relationship. These details helped further develop the characters and make the plot plus Sarah's actions more sinister and I loved every moment of it.
I enjoyed the cat and mouse game between the couple throughout the story as they each had secrets to reveal but of course Sarah comes out on top. I love the ruthless and cold character Jeneva Rose has created throughout these last two books and I'm excited to see what more she has in store for Sarah as mentioned in her acknowledgements.
All around this novel was clever, sinister, and captivating with twists that I didn't see coming but loved every minute of.

This book was just as good as the first one! It was full of suspense and twists. I did not see the ending coming!

Jeneva never fails! This book was so good and love the twists and turns!! I usually can figure out the twist and the who done it before it’s revealed to the reader. but never with Jeneva!!

This book is a great follow up to the Perfect Marriage. It filled in several questions a reader was left pondering from the perfect marriage. The plot twists were amazing. Well written. Each time I thought I had it figured out there was a twist that made we keep reading. This book was hard to put down. And the ending……oh my!!!!

JENEVA ROSE is a force in the thriller game and that woman sure knows how to plot a TWIST (many at that!) I have devoured every thriller she has written and they have never disappointed! I am so glad she wrote this one, since i think I speak for everyone when i say, we all NEEDED THIS!

This author kept multiple interconnecting storylines constantly moving in their own spheres yet they overlapped and she kept them all operating at a rapid pace.
There so many characters to dislike, it's hard to choose a winner.
Sarah, the lawyer, is a conniving, manipulative woman with a personal agenda that was long in the planning: Book 1 started it all, defending her husband, loosing the case and he being executed.
Present husband, Bob, is a cheat pretending to want to reconcile but somehow is involved in the death of his "only" one night stand: thus the request for a divorce. Sara is not interested in reconciliation. She has other things in the works.
The police were inept in the first book/case and that is exposed here with a mysterious attempted suicide by the chief at the time. What did he fail to do? The DNA lab was certainly overworked in this book.
A plethora of hard to believe associations all executed to the perfect outcome ibut yet leave an opening for another chapter in the life of Sarah. She's a complex woman, super intelligent with her eye on a prize. We just don't know what it is yet. Book 3 may have the answer.

This is seriously the perfect thriller dulogy. I didnt reread the perfect marriage prior to reading this and it felt like if i had just read it yesterday

Wow- what a good sequel to her other five star read- I enjoyed a new story line with the same characters. Definitely a five star read from this author again

What a thrilling continuation of Sarah Morgan’s story! She truly is the bitch you love to hate. She’s cunning and devious and the website that were weaved in this story are unmatched. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
This story kept me on the edge of my seat, never really knowing what came next!

i loved this second book in the series! it was very suspenseful with lots of twists and turns. once i was over 50% done i couldn’t put it down!
