Sequel to the Perfect Marriage..did not disappoint! When Sarah finds out Bob cheated, she filed for divorce. With their history it is not an easy one and the twist and turns are the best! Thank you Jeneva and NetGalley for the chance to read this ARC.

This book was great. It had many twists and turns that kept the story going and kept me interested the entire time.

Thank you for letting me get an ARC!
I believed that when i read the first book there didn’t need to be a 2nd one. I enjoyed the first one! It sent literal chills throughout my body. this book was good & entertaining but at the same time i wasn’t shocked by what happened just because we know how Sarah Morgan is from the first book. So reading this book & seeing what happened was like “oh i knew that already. I know what she’s capable of” Sarah Morgan is definitely a cold, calculated and fuck around and find out person and i do enjoy her character and I’m interested in the 3rd book but hopefully it isn’t the same premise as the first two. 3.5/5

I was a fan and tore through The Perfect Marriage and love when the story is told from Sarah's perspective. I enjoyed the premise of this book and was curious about being back in this universe. However, I found this one to be a little clunky. Most of the perspectives that weren't Sarah's felt rushed and like they weren't adding that much to the story.

I had to read the first in the series before I read this but this was an amazing read. Thank you for the copy! I’d love to read more from this author!

This is the first time I read a book by this author and I must say I was suspensfully delighted. I couldn’t put it down and kept wanting to know what happens til the end. The story was well woven and it keeps the reader guessing like me. I will be reading more on this series. If you want a roller coaster read I highly recommend this book!
I want to thank NetGalley for letting me read this ARC.

This book was not for me. The Perfect Divorce is a sequel to The Perfect Marriage. We meet Sarah Morgan again 12 years after the events of the first book. She is in the midst of a divorce from her husband of 10 years when new evidence comes to light about Kelly Summers’ murder. I found this book to be highly predictable and pretty bland. There was little suspense as I read and little tension. I didn’t realize this was a sequel before I read it and hadn’t read The Perfect Marriage, so perhaps my reading experience would have been different if I had.

I wouldn’t be giving an honest review without stating that I am one of Jeneva’s silly geese. With that being said I had high expectations for The Perfect Divorce, and holy shit did she deliver. I could not put this book down because I needed to know who was causing all the chaos. Jeneva blew me away with this book, she had me sweating in parts of this book thinking shit was going to go very south with Sarah. I’m going to go ahead and warn you that there will be spoilers in this review so if you are going to read this book, then just go ahead and stop here.
This book is about Sarah’s life after her first husband was put to death in prison. Sarah marries Bob Miller, and has a daughter with him. Bob sleeps with another woman and breaks Sarah’s trust leading to her wanting a divorce. Bob does not want a divorce or agree with Sarah wanting full custody of Summer. This starts a dirty war of Bob trying to get Sarah convicted of Kelly Summers murder. Women are going missing, the ex sheriff who arrested Adam Morgan for murder hits and kills someone, attempts suicide and then ends up murdered. There is so much going on within this novel & trying to decipher who is doing what was my favorite part. I could not stop trying to figure out what the hell was going on.

The Perfect Divorce was good. Love many stories by Jeneva Rose. The story was good, but after reading The Perfect Marriage, I knew the twist was coming and actually guessed the ending, unlike I didn’t guess the twist in The Perfect Marriage.

I honestly loved this read so much! I will have to say perfect marriage was higher up for me but this was still an amazing read as well! I could just picture Jeneva cackling as she wrote some of this which made it even better 😂 So glad I received this as an arc !

I enjoyed the suspense and drama of The Perfect Divorce! I felt like it was better than The Perfect Marriage. It was fast-paced and interesting with short chapters (always a plus for me). The dynamics between the characters, specifically Sarah and Bob, are excellent. You can never tell if they hate each other, love each other, frustrated with each other, or strongly dislike each other. It really is all of the above.
I can't talk about a lot of the book because it will give things away, but there was definitely one twist that I did not expect. The book kept me reading and interested in the story.
I had two issues with the book. The first is that the reveals at the end were told to the reader. I expected more from the ending. The other issue that I had is that people really had to read the first book. I read it a while ago and couldn't remember pieces of it. Some of the information is released within this second book, but it's really important to remember parts of the first one. I had to read a recap, and I don't think I would have enjoyed this book as much if I hadn't read a recap.
Thanks for the ARC!

f you enjoyed The Perfect Marriage, then you’ll likely be just as captivated by its sequel, The Perfect Divorce.
The story picks up with Sarah Morgan—now remarried with a daughter—navigating yet another messy divorce. Many familiar faces from the first book return, and while Sarah may have stepped into the role of mother, she remains as cold and calculating as ever. One thing about Sarah? She does not tolerate betrayal.
Much like its predecessor, this book is packed with twists and turns, keeping you guessing until the very end. Some moments may feel a bit far-fetched, but hey—it’s fiction, and it makes for an entertaining ride. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, a last-minute twist completely caught me off guard. If you love psychological thrillers with shocking reveals, this one is worth the read!

The twists and turns never stopped. I wasn't sure how Jeneva would do a book two after the ending of the first, so this was a pleasant surprise!
Sarah and Bob have been married for several years. And now their past could be coming back to haunt them. When Bob's one night stand goes missing, he's now the suspect. The beloved Sheriff is neck deep in legal trouble.
I enjoyed how fast pace this was. There was always something happening and it kept you on your toes. One of my biggest frustrations with the first book on the reread was that everything wraps up in the last few pages. I enjoyed how there were twisty reveals throughout the story.
It did feel like the sheriff storyline was unnecessary though.
Positives: fast paced, keeps you continually, unreliable narrator
Negative: a lot of story lines at once, unreliable narrator
The biggest thank you to Blackstone Publishing and NetGalley for an eARC of this book! All opinions are my own!

Dare I say it?! I think Jeneva’s sequel was better than the original, and I definitely loved The Perfect Marriage. But I do feel that this one was a little bit more exciting/faster-paced. I truly did not want to put it down. And wow, Sarah is something else—can’t wait to hear even more of her story, as Jeneva said that it is not complete yet! I will read literally everything she writes. One of my fave authors! Thank you for the opportunity to read this ahead of publication date.

5 stars 💫 Jeneva Rose does it again!! The Perfect Marriage was one of the first thrillers I read when I got back into reading a few years ago. So I was beyond excited to read The Perfect Divorce!! It did not disappoint! It’s fast paced and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It was the perfect sequel to The Perfect Marriage.
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Good follow up to the original novel. Lots of twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. Can’t wait for the next book!

I read The Perfect Marriage about 4 months ago and gave it 3 stars. I struggled with the sloppy police procedures and unlikely-ness of many aspects. And, honestly, the ending reveal made me feel tricked, but this book addresses it all and makes me less salty. I think if I re-read TPM now I would appreciate it more because everything is addressed and comes together. TPM ending left me not trusting any of the characters this time around. I love Sarah’s mannerisms and demeanor! She’s not your typical damsel in distress cliche. This book has A LOT going on. It kept my attention and I was able to breeze through it within a couple days. Whether you loved TPM or felt meh about it, I highly recommend reading The Perfect Divorce!
Thank you to NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing for this ARC in exchange for my honest review. This review will be shared on NetGalley and Goodreads.

JENEVA rose does it again. The queen of thrillers is back. This book did not disappoint, you need to pick it up!

This was a good book with a some twists and turns! I really enjoyed it and read it I. A couple of days!

(4.75 stars) I’ve been a huge Jeneva Rose fan since 2022, so I was BEYOND ecstatic to win an ARC of The Perfect Divorce!
If there’s one thing about Jeneva, it’s that she is always going to keep you on the edge of your seat. I love her writing—it’s bingeable, fast-paced, and you’re going to think you have the plot twist figured out, but you don’t.
I am notorious for not being able to guess a plot twist. But with this book especially, there’s no way my brain could’ve guessed the entirety of the twist. This story has several moving parts that will have you questioning everything. When Jeneva finally revealed the answers to my burning questions, she left no stone unturned. She gave me an explanation for every little thing that happened, and damn…what an ending.
This book releases on April 15, 2025, and you don’t want to miss it—not only for the story, but also because Jeneva shares a crazy, deep, dark secret in the acknowledgements…
