I don't know why I thought this book would end differently than I wanted it to. While it was pretty predictable, it still threw me for a loop, and I could not put it down once I started it.

Like many books that become sensationalized via TikTok but lack the true depth and design that frequent readers desire, The Perfect Marriage fell flat for me. Riddled with plot holes and given an ending that felt more like giving up.
However, let’s leave the first one out of this because this was REMARKABLY better. It still lacked real depth and intrigue but the plot was fun and it moved forward in an interesting way that felt complete. I liked that Rose used this sequel to fill in some of the gaps that were desperately needed from the first book.
It’s ten years later and the town is still dealing with the repercussions of the first murder. Sara finds herself being cheated on once again and what results is another disaster compounding on the first.
Rose tries to give Sara some depth by spending some pages talking about she’s a reformed mother who works in charity now, but after the first one we all won’t be fooled again. The ending to this one was more tolerable because I went into it expecting Sara to be the mastermind. There were still some elements and twists that surprised me and kept me entertained.
3.5 stars. Popcorn thriller fans will enjoy this one. I’m sure of it.

Sarah Morgan is back and this is the rare time when sequel is better than the first book.
The books starts wrapping up where we left off in The Perfect Marriage. We then go on a wild ride connecting the two books while learning about Sarah’s new life as a wife and mother.
Each chapter is told from a different characters POV, which kept this book a fast paced page turner. We hear all the different angles of the story without knowing exactly what is going on. Everyone has their secrets that will be revealed.
Thank you to Blackstone Publishing for the ARC .

This is one of those cases where the sequel is better than the original and makes you hate that you finished a book so fast! I absolutely loved this and from the ending it sounds like there is a third book in the works
Did Sarah Morgan do it? did she not? She will keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat the whole time but the end will be worth it!
Thank you to netgalley for this free advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

The shocking sequel to Jeneva Rose’s multimillion-copy bestselling thriller, The Perfect Marriage. The Perfect Divorce was just as suspenseful and riveting as the first book.

This was another fun read from Jeneva Rose! This was definitely a quick read, kept you on the edge of your seat the whole time. I will say I did not enjoy it as much as the perfect marriage. I wasn't super invested in the other side characters and there was a lot of shifting perspective going on. You also will need to suspend a lot of disbelief about the entire justice system. But otherwise! Very fun. I'll give it a 3.5 rounded up.

Anne and Pam were being a bit weird and might be the ones to finally bring Sarah down in the next one. Man, that woman is diabolical. I want to know what she looks like. We never hear about her upkeep- manicures or highlights or makeup- it has to be such an important part of her image maintenance though:.

Rare case here: the sequel is better than the first. The story continues and it just gets deeper. I was hooked again. I loved reading and trying to come up with what Sarah’s next move is. Thankful to have gotten a chance at an early copy!!! Get ready for a book that you won’t put down.

The Perfect Divorce picks up right where the Perfect Marriage left off. Sarah Morgan and her husband are in the middle of a divorce- because can you ever get someone’s trust back after being cheated on? When a girl goes missing, Sarah’s ex believes he is being set up. How can he prove it wasn’t him. Or was it?

The Perfect Divorce⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This story takes place 11 years after Sarah Morgan, a former high-powered attorney, defended her first husband, Adam, against the charge of murdering his mistress. Since then she has moved, starting a new family with her husband, Bob Miller, and daughter. She’s also changed jobs and now everything is going the way she always planned. Or is it? When Sarah finds out about Bob’s affair, she wastes no time in filling for divorce. She can’t believe this is happening again but this time it won’t be like the last.
I was so excited when I got the email for this arc and it did not disappoint! I loved that the past characters were back but also the new ones that were brought in. Sarah’s character is one that you hate to love. She’s so sneaky and always ahead of the game. I loved the multiple points of views. I thought I had it figured out, but with that twist, I didn’t. This was such a great sequel to The Perfect Marriage.
This book will publish on April 15, 2025. Thank you to NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing for my advanced readers copy. This is my honest and voluntary opinion.

This book had me hooked for majority of the book. I think I read it in 2 days. Unfortunately, at the end, I just wasn't impressed any longer. But I have seen others who loved it, so it could be a me problem.

Sarah Morgan is a truly amazing and adaptive character. Following her through her second story and seeing what she is capable of has kept me captivated. Jeneva Rose always does a great job of telling a story and keeping it suspenseful. I am so grateful for the opportunity to read The Perfect Divorce early.

"The Perfect Divorce" is a good read. I enjoyed it very much. I couldn't put it down! I was turning pages as fast as I could, and it kept me guessing right up until the end. This book delivers twisty, shocking suspense that had me on the edge of my seat. The story is filled with unexpected turns and complex character dynamics that make it even more thrilling. If you’re into suspenseful reads that keep you hooked, definitely check this one out!

Thank you to Blackstone Publishing, NetGalley, and Queen Jeneva Rose for an advance copy of one of my most anticipated 2025 reads in exchange for an honest review.
All I will leave you with is, how the bleep did she manage to outdo The Perfect Marriage?!?!
This one had me turning pages as fast as I could and I felt like I was on such a thrill ride. Rose made sure to give me more than enough whiplash on this ride too.
I won’t give anything away but if you read one book in April, make sure it’s this one! This gem comes out on 4/15/25 and I cannot recommend it enough.

Jeneva Rose does it again!!! I was SOOO excited to receive this ARC. This was even better than The Perfect Marriage. I read it in two days and if life didn't get in the way, it would have been one. It kept me guessing right up until the end. I had a suspension about certain things, but definitely not all. Either way, it was an excellent read. I can't wait for Jeneva's next novel!

I received this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I requested this book because I loved the prequel "The Perfect Marriage", since that book, I have read all of Jeneva Rose' thrillers and she's still the same talented author who keeps me on edge of my seat and delivers twisty, shocking, nonstop suspense!

Jeneva Rose and Sarah Morgan is back! Watch out Joe Goldberg, because Sarah Morgan is back and better than ever! I loved Jeneva's The Perfect Marriage—the book that put Jeneva Rose on the map—and I was so excited to return to this world in her upcoming novel, THE PERFECT DIVORCE! This one is just as juicy as The Perfect Marriage and if you enjoy the YOU series, you'll enjoy this installment. I'm excited to see if Sarah Morgan will return again for readers' enjoyment!

The Perfect Divorce
I really enjoyed reading this book! “The Perfect Divorce” by Jeneva Rose is a sequel to her thriller, “The Perfect Marriage.” The story takes place 11 years after the original. Sarah Morgan, a former high-powered attorney, is now remarried to another attorney, Bob Miller. Sarah’s seemingly idyllic life unravels when she discovers Bob’s infidelity. The plot thickens as the woman involved goes missing, initiating a powerful and thrilling ride in a game where neither partner trusts the other and thus, only one can win.
The narrative involves interesting new characters, while keeping some familiar returning characters, and the book does a great job of weaving elements of both books together. The book involves multiple points of view, adding depth and suspense to the story.
“The Perfect Divorce” is a suspenseful story, filled with unexpected turns and complex character dynamics. It’s an enjoyable read for fabs of domestic thrillers and for those who enjoyed the first installment.

You absolutely must read the first book in this series to get maximum enjoyment! I did a re-read before reading this one and it was absolutely worth it! I loved this book so much and the twists and turns were so good! It was a one sitting read for me!

This sequel is better than the original! I'm not sure I've ever said that before.
It is hard to provide background on a sequel and not give too much away and accidentally spoil the first book for someone, in the Perfect Marriage, we watched Sarah Morgan defend her husband Adam in the murder trial of his mistress in the first book, and now we watch as she divorces her second husband and the facts of Adam's case are looked at more closely. it is fun to get a look at the characters understanding who they really are from the Perfect Marriage! Sarah Morgan is back and just as cunning as ever! I flew through this book and stayed up way too late to finish because I had to know what happened and couldn't possibly wait until the next day.
Thanks so much to the publisher and Netgalley for the advance readers copy. All opinions are my own.
