Jeneva rose is known for her bingeable and over the top thrillers; and this one is no exception.
Over a decade has past since the events in the first book but that past is coming back to haunt the remaining living characters, much like in the first; we have multiple povs and as a reader you won’t trust anybody. With twists and turns in every chapter; I couldn’t put this down and finished within 24 hours.
I highly recommend reading the first prior to this but the author does a good job at recapping that story for those who may not remember everything clearly,
I highly highly recommend

The Perfect Divorce 💍 🔪
ARC review
Book Overview:
It’s been eleven years since high-powered attorney Sarah Morgan defended her husband, Adam, against the charge of murdering his mistress. Sarah has long since moved on, starting a family with her new husband, Bob Miller, and changing careers. Her life is back to being exactly how she always wanted … or is it?
After discovering Bob engaged in a one-night stand, Sarah wastes no time filing for divorce. However, amid their ugly separation, new DNA evidence is uncovered in the case against Adam, forcing the police to reopen the investigation and putting Sarah right back in the spotlight. Everyone wants to know what really happened, most of all former deputy Marcus Hudson, who is hell-bent on finding the truth.
But when the woman Bob slept with is reported missing, he and Sarah start to fight dirty, and a high-stakes game of cat and mouse ensues. Filled with page-turning suspense and Jeneva Rose’s signature twists and turns, this book will have readers wondering: Can Bob and Sarah achieve the perfect divorce? Or will it be “till death do us part”?
My 💭
I was SO EXCITED to get approved for this one! I loved The Perfect Marriage, but read it quite a while ago so I had to do a reread before diving into this one. This was even better than the first one! It had multiple POV’s (which I always love, it adds so much more depth to the story) and I could NOT put it down. It was perfectly thrilling, dark, and entertaining.
Jeneva Rose absolutely slayed this one!
Five stars from me 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thank you @netgalley for the chance to read and review this ahead of time!
Publishing April 15, 2025📖

Bedazzle it!! This sequel was 🤌🏾✨
This sequel delivered just as I hoped it would. 🙌🏾Just when you think you’ve figured it out: Nope!
The Perfect Divorce by Jeneva Rose is a fast-paced psychological thriller that keeps you guessing. Rose masterfully builds tension, making each character’s motives questionable. A solid read, full of dark turns, secrets, manipulation, and unexpected twists.
Till death do us part. Yours. Not Mine.

“Keep reading….” - her words 🤩

I received an early Arc for the book but my opinions are my own.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Each chapter had me captivated and wanting to read more. I found the sequel better than the first, "The Perfect Marriage." No spoilers but read every last page in this book!

3.5/5 Thank you NetGalley for an ARC copy. I like that this has become a little series. I think continuing on Sarah’s story was great. I did feel that the middle dragged on, but the last 20% was perfect. There were many things going on and different twists throughout the entire book, so it kept you guessing. I do like how she takes the time to explain how or why things happened the way they did. There was only 1 loose end in my opinion. But overall I enjoyed it!

Jeneva really is the queen of twists! I was reeled in right away. She definitely kept me guessing on who did what and when. I will recommend this book everytime someone asks for a thriller. Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to review and read this book!

Release date April 15th, but I was lucky enough to get an ARC from NetGalley! 5 star thriller with so many twists I didn’t see coming. I think I enjoyed this one better than the first.

The Perfect Divorce by Jeneva Rose…..‼️dare I say this sequel is better than the first book The Perfect Marriage‼️ And that’s saying a lot because the first book was amazing. The continuation of Sarah Morgan’s story was full of twists, turns, manipulation & suspense in each chapter. Another can’t put it down Jeneva Rose book! Can’t wait for book #3!!!! Thank you NetGalley for the digital ARC! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really enjoyed The Perfect Marriage. This one is a solid sequel. It definitely kept me guessing and one reveal did surprise me! I don't like the MC but I think that is the author's point! It was a fast read and I will recommend it to others especially those who have read the first one. Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

When I started reading this book, I was in a really bad reading slump. I would begin books but then set them aside for others. However, this book completely captivated me. I can't believe I had never read a book by Jeneva Rose before, because this one was so good! It was easy to get into, even though I hadn't read the first book in the series. The plot is straightforward yet filled with twists upon twists. The short chapters made it much faster to read through the book. Also, Sarah Morgan is a badass! I loved her no nonsense attitude. The ending was enjoyable and set things up for a potential sequel.
Thank you to NetGallery and to Blackstone Publishing for my copy.

Another great 5 star book! I loved the first one in the series and loved this one as well and per the acknowledgments there will be another?! Can't wait! I usually prefer standalone books because sequels are hard to follow up with and be just as good as the first book, but this author did it! Although there was a lot happening and many twists, there was one jaw dropping twist near the end that my mouth fell open.

What a twisty book! I didn’t foresee a lot of this coming and every time I thought I knew who did it, it took a twist. The book kept me engaged and interested, the flow of writing was easy and I found myself cruising through it because I needed to know how it was to end!!
Big kudos to the last bit in the acknowledgment! Can’t wait!!

Jeneva does it again! Being a sequel and knowing who the main character is, I knew from page one what would happen. Except I absolutely had no idea. Jeneva is the queen of twists and jaw dropping moments.

An amazing read! I couldn’t put it down. The twists and turns kept me in suspense the whole time. I highly recommend!

The Perfect Divorce: well, the cover says it all.
If you have read The Perfect Marriage, then you already know what you are getting yourself into.
Told in multiple POVs, The Perfect Divorce was easy to follow, and even easier to jump right back into. Having read The Perfect Divorce over a year after The Perfect Marriage, this sequel was remarkably effortless to read without having to re-read the first installment.
Overall, The Perfect Divorce kept me throughly entertained, and that’s really all I ask for in mystery thrillers.
Thank you to NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing for an advanced copy of The Perfect Divorce in exchange for my honest review.

The events of The Perfect Divorce occur eleven years after the previous novel, A Perfect Marriage. In the present day, attorney Sarah Morgan has remarried to Bob Millet but recently uncovered his one night infidelity. She files for divorce and the in the process brings up DNA evidence that may exonerate Adam Morgan, the previous husband that was convicted and executed. When the woman Bob cheated with is reported missing all hell breaks loose and he and Sarah engage in a fight for the ages. Who will come out on top and will they both survive the battle?
I went into this book having not read A Perfect Marriage, and because of my enjoyment of this story, I will definitely be adding it to my TBR. While this is a standalone novel and you don’t have to have the previous book in your read pile, it didn’t make this reading experience any less enjoyable. The characters are really interesting and I would pick up any book that had the crafty Sarah Morgan in it.
Told in alternating POVs between Sarah and Bob, this twisty thriller is easy to binge. Four stars for this captivating thriller.
I received this advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review and feedback.

A quick read that keeps you guessing, but one you’ll definitely need to suspend disbelief for. Realizing now that I don’t know that I necessarily needed more Sarah Morgan in my life, but I think this was an adequate way to continue the story. Not bad by any means, but I don’t think it held the same mystery as the original for me.
All that to say, I have a feeling I’ll be in the minority with this opinion so do check it out if you enjoyed the first book!!
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

If you liked The Perfect Marriage, then you will absolutely love The Perfect Divorce. In book one, we see everything through Adam & Sarah Morgan’s POV. This is intentional, to limit the information available to the reader. However, in this book, you get even more points of view including: Sarah Morgan, Bob Miller, Sheriff Hudson, and an unknown character. I feel like we got more of a panoramic view of the story, and yet still didn’t get all the information until the very end.
For context, The Perfect Divorce takes place about 1 year after the ending of The Perfect Marriage. But it brings up evidence and things that occurred throughout book one (over a decade ago). The plot moves quickly, while carefully lining the dominoes up to fall at the end. I enjoyed the set up and gradual delivery of the suspense in this story, as it wasn’t clear what direction it was headed until close to the end. This left me guessing, second guessing, and fully scrutinizing the text for any hint of what was really happening. And I still ended up pleasantly surprised with the reveal!
I always enjoy Jeneva Rose’s thrillers because they are fast paced, funny, and have a twist straight out of left field at the very end of the book. I would very much recommend picking this one up on April 15, 2025 when it releases! (Especially since we will be getting more of this story in the future!)
*I was so excited to get this ARC, because I inhaled The Perfect Marriage when it first came out. So to prepare for this book, I reread the more recent/ edited version (and loved it just as much!).
Thank you Netgalley and Blackstone Publishing for gifting me with an eARC, all thoughts expressed are my own.

Thank you Blackstone Publishing and NetGalley for an early copy of The Perfect Divorce. Wow what a sequel!!!! Sarah is one heck of a character, the Best!!! She is sooooo smart and a woman NOT to be reckoned with. I was a bit confused of the hair cutting part but it was all explained in the end. I couldn’t read it fast enough, just Loved every part of it. The sequel was definitely better than the first and that’s very unusual. I do have one question about Sarah’s “death”, how did the picture to Bob show what it showed? That was never explained but All in All get ready for a twisty, fun ride. GREAT READ!!!

This novel is as good as the first one. I enjoyed Sarah's character even more this time. She is one smart cookie. The plot has every thing you look for in a psychological thriller including a greqt ending. I will recommend it to others. Well done!
Thanks to the publishers for an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. I give it 4 stars.
