I received this as an ARC and wow it did not disappoint! I loved this sequel! Sometimes squeals fall short but this one did not. I love the continuation of the characters and I didn’t see the ending coming. 10/10 recommend when it releases in April!

I should have reread the first book before reading this one, yet it’s not necessary. I loved the twists and the suspensful nature of the book and asking yourself wahat happenes next!

This books picks up with Sarah Morgan eleven years after the end of the The Perfect Marriage. I did not want to put this book down once I started reading it. I rarely like the second book in a series more than the first but I enjoyed this book even more than the first book. This book has so many twists and turns. I was engaged the entire read. I highly recommend reading this book.

I loved this! So many twists and turns that left you thinking. These twists were not expected and predictable.

I purchased the B&N signed copy edition, but was stoked to get it early. Wow what a ride this book took me on! Loved every second of it.

Amazing!!! Sequels can go either way but gosh this was so good! Might even be better than the first. The twist and turns of this book made it so hard to put down!

Okay hear me out, I had it all predicted but it was still a perfectly enjoyable popcorn thriller and sequel.

A man cheats and all of a sudden he’s looking a little murdery but this one know what his wife is capable of? Say less I am sold 😂

Anywho, grab your girlies, wear your florals and go pick this one up. And if you haven’t read The Perfect Marriage….wtf come on!

In my eyes, Jeneva Rose can do no wrong! I took longer to read this because I simply did not want it to be over. Typically, sequels and books in a series are difficult for me because they never match up to my expectations or wildest dreams. Jeneva Rose picked up where she left off so seamlessly and skillfully. This was an amazing read, and I will be recommending it far and wide!!!

THIS IS HOW YOU SEQUEL!! I loved “The Perfect Marriage” so much that I have to admit, I was nervous (also extremely excited!) going into this one. But rest assured, Jeneva knows what she is doing. And so does attorney Sarah Morgan. It’s been over a decade since she defended her first husband, Adam, against the charges of murdering his mistress. Now married to her former co-worker Bob, when she catches him cheating, she wastes no time filing for divorce. But then new evidence comes to light from Adam’s case. As Sarah is embroiled in spent drama with Bob and their daughter, the truth of the past may come front and center.

With Sarah’s quick wit and quick thinking, it doesn’t seem like she will have much to worry about. But several twists and turns had me wondering if there really was someone out to end her, and if this would be the end of her story. Told from multiple points of view (including a third unknown narrator), “The Perfect Divorce” packs as much mystery and suspense as the previous book in this series. This was one I couldn’t put down and I was thrilled with the early read!

The Perfect Divorce is exactly what I would expect from Jeneva Rose - it was thrilling and had me HOOKED from start to finish. I'm not going to lie, sometimes I think sequel books can be very hit or miss but this was a home run!

Sarah Morgan might truly be one of my favorite FMCs -- she is the definition of a strong and intelligent woman who won't let men one up her. I loved reading from her POV every time it came up and had the best time following this messy journey through the divorce and former investigation being re-opened. My jaw dropped multiple times and there were so many twists I didn't see coming.

I'd highly highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoyed The Perfect Marriage - this was a phenomenal sequel.

Just when you think you know where the story is going, it takes another turn, keeping you on your toes. Sarah Morgan may be one of my all time favorite literary characters. She’s smart, savvy and brilliantly conniving, and I found myself both loving her and hating her in equal parts. The lies, deception and double-crossing in SO MANY of the characters is masterful, forcing you to constantly question who you can trust. The ending is complex and jaw-dropping, just like the first, and best of all, Rose tells us that Sarah’s story isn’t finished.

I cannot stress enough to preorder this book today!! My favorite of 2025 so far — make sure you have this in hand when it releases on April 15!

While I thought the first book was good, this one was truly such a thrilling read! Every twist and turn kept me hooked—I honestly couldn’t predict where it was going. If you read the first book, I highly recommend picking this one up, no matter how you felt about the first. Jeneva Rose never disappoints with her page-turners, and this one was no exception. Wonderful read
This was a fun ride. I liked it better than book 1 in this series. I hope Sarah Morgan’s story continues into a third book.

The Perfect Divorce is a fantastic sequel to the perfect Marriage! It was a wonderful read that I couldn’t put down! Ms. Rose had me hating Bob, feeling sympathetic to Sarah and constantly trying to guess the next twist! It’s a must read!!

As one of Jenevas silly geese I’ve always loved all of her books and was so excited to receive an Arc of this one although I was a bit nervous, because although I enjoyed the perfect marriage it wasn’t my favorite of Jenevas work. HOWEVER, this one blew it out of the water. It was so freaking good! First off it answers some of the remaining questions I had from book one, but more Than that it added so much depth to some of the characters while adding new ones, and honestly I truly did not know what was going to happen throughout this book and the twists and turns were numerous, which I absolutely loved. This book is a fast read and honestly I want to read it again and again because it was honestly that good! If you enjoyed the perfect marriage you will LOVE the perfect divorce and if you weren’t sure about the perfect marriage I honestly and truly think you will still love the perfect divorce it’s honestly worth the read!!

You never really know how sequels will turn out, but this one certainly does not disappoint! Over a decade after the events of The Perfect Marriage, we pick up with Sarah Morgan as she’s living out her redemption arc and attempting to divorce her second husband. Unfortunately, her past comes back to haunt her with a vengeance. There are the expected plot twists and diabolically tied-up loose ends. I thoroughly enjoyed reading chapters narrated from different characters’ points of view to unravel the story.
