The Perfect Divorce is one of the most anticipated books of 2025 for many, and I was eager to see if this sequel to The Perfect Marriage would capture that same magic that’s hard to explain but kept us glued to the pages. I’m ecstatic to report that not only does The Perfect Divorce have that elusive quality (maybe the twists, the accessible story and writing, the ‘who are they really’ characters?), it also shows that author Jeneva Rose wanted to make sure readers knew she wasn’t here to play around.

The Perfect Divorce, which can be enjoyed as a standalone (but why do that?), catches up with Sarah, wife to recently deceased death row inmate Adam, as she goes about her new husband’s transgression in a way she didn’t with her first husband - divorce. Unfortunately Bob, her soon to be ex, is well aware of how brutal Sarah can be given he witnessed and was party to how Adam ended up in death row. So when women connected to Bob go missing he’s sure Sarah is up to her old machinations.

Many will love the twists that this sequel sets the reader up for but it’s doubtful they can guess as to just what is about to happen. And that, along with even stellar writing and intriguing new and old characters make The Perfect Divorce as guaranteed to thrill as The Perfect Marriage. A note for those who skip the acknowledgements- you’re going to want to read these.

Very well written and I enjoyed the second book even more than the first title, I love a deranged FMC! Jeneva Rose is becoming a favorite author and I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next in Sarah’s perfect little world…

This book was addictive and full of betrayal and jaw dropping twists that will have you questioning everyone. Sarah thought she left the past behind, but when her cheating soon to be ex gets tangled in a new mystery, her world spins out of control again. Between a reopened murder case, a missing woman, and a bitter divorce battle, the tension is next level. Sarah and Bob are playing dirty, and watching it all unfold is wild. If you loved The Perfect Marriage, this one’s a must read. It’s fast paced and packed with enough twists to make your head spin!

OH MY GAWD! I loved The Perfect Marriage, but this!! THIS BOOK IS INCREDIBLE!! There is A LOT that happens, I don’t even know what to say without giving spoilers, but Sarah and Bob, wow, what a messed up match made in heaven, lol. I swear at the end of every chapter I had my jaw dropped or was gasping out loud. My poor dog was worried about me!! SO FRAKING GOOD. I’d give it six stars, but it won’t let me.

To say I was excited to read The Perfect Divorce is the understatement of the century! I loved The Perfect Marriage and had such high hopes for this next book. When I say that The Perfect Divorce blew my expectations out of the water, I mean it!! The queen of twists, Jeneva Rose, was back at it; crafting the most perfect sequel I could have asked for! The book starts 11 years after Sarah Morgan’s husband, Adam, was convicted of murdering his mistress. So much has changed and yet so much of the juicy, dramatic moments that surround her life remain! Sarah is one of those characters you find yourself rooting for no matter the circumstance! I could not put this book down, it truly had a chokehold on my brain from the moment I started reading! Jeneva deserves every star for this one! If it’s not on your tbr you must immediately add it! If you haven’t yet read The Perfect Marriage I would highly recommend you get reading, the Perfect Divorce comes out in April so you have time to catch up!

Jeneva Rose does not disappoint in this highly anticipated sequel. Sarah Morgan’s story is one that keeps you hooked from beginning to end, with plenty of twists and turns along the way. TPM & TPD are undoubtedly stories worth reading again and again, and recommending to every thriller reader looking for a fast paced and additive story.

The second book to The Perfect Marriage. I did not really know what to expect with this one since we know how the perfect marriage ended. I was hooked from the beginning of this book. Sarah's life with Bob was an interesting one and this book was just as good as the first one. I was so glad to be able to read it early. I can't wait for the book to be released in April!

I received an ARC of this book. I am a firm believer that sequels are never better than the original..until now!! The twists kept coming, making it such an easy read. As soon as I thought I had something figured out, the rug was yanked out from under me in the best way possible. I would start to love a character and then hate them, I would start to hate a character and love them. This book made me feel all the feelings, a true rollercoaster ride.
If I could give it 6 stars, I totally would. This has been my favorite read in a very very long time!

Even better than The Perfect Marriage!

The Perfect Marriage I found to be extremely predictable, I knew what was going on from the very beginning, but I still found the story enjoyable. I worried that would be the case here as well, because admittedly I have predicted the endings to all the Jeneva Rose books I've read so far. And with this book, I kind of did, but also kind of didn't, because there were so many layers to this one!! It was like a brilliant chess game, which is my favourite type of thriller.

Thank you so much to the publisher and netgalley for the chance to read this book early! I absolutely loved the perfect marriage and when I heard this was coming out I immediately had to get my hands on it. This takes place years after the first book ended and looks into the wife (lawyers) life. This book had twists and turns and made you question who done it! I definitely enjoyed this one but not as much as the first book. I do love jeneva rose as an author so will always read her work.

I honestly wish 1000/10 stars was an option. Jeneva has done it yet again! With every book I’m left begging for more! I can’t wait for the next book to be published!

ARC. I’ve never been so happy to get an ARC of a book. This book did not disappoint! I would go as far to say that it was even better than the first one, which is saying something.

You would think you had something figured out and then bam, it was something completely different. This book kept me intrigued the entire time and always wanting more. Very well written, easy to follow along and overall good content!

Huge Jeneva Rose fan here telling all thriller readers to go read The Perfect Marriage before reading this sequel. When I heard there would be a sequel to Sarah Morgan’s story, I reread The Perfect Marriage to remind myself of that novel’s devilish details. With the story details from The Perfect Marriage in my head, the sequel The Perfect Divorce kept me on edge the whole way through. Oh, and be sure to read Jeneva Rose’s acknowledgments at the end for a surprise.

i got this as an arc so i was really excited to read it.
at first, i wasn’t sure about the multiple povs. there are 4 which i thought would be way too many, but it ended up not bothering me at all.
it took me about 15% of the book to really get into, probably because i was reacquainting myself with the characters and remembering what happened in the first book. after that, i was really invested in it and almost read it all in one sitting.
there were a lot of moving parts to the story which made it harder for me to make predictions, but in the end made it more satisfying when all the loose ends were tied up. there was one small detail that i felt didn’t have a satisfying conclusion, but i have a feeling that will come into play later as it seems this will not be the last book in the series.
overall, i really enjoyed this. it was fast paced and easy to get through as the chapters weren’t very long and it kept my attention with new pieces being added to the story in every chapter.

I could not be happier to have been given the opportunity to be an ARC reader of this book! The Perfect Marriage was my first Jeneva Rose book.
When they say “the sequel is never better than the original” that does not apply to this series!
Short chapters leaving my jaw on the floor at the end of each one I had to immediately begin the next one!
Sarah Morgan is my ALL TIME FAVORITE character in any book I’ve read! She is my spirit animal! I want to be her when I grow up!

I am not a sequel person. I never read book sequels and I hardly ever read book sequels. This book proved me wrong. I’m not a fast reader but this one kept me hooked. I finished it in 2 days which is very unlike me. I love the twist, the backstabbing and the drama. No matter how hard I try I can never guess the endings to Jeneva’s books. She does such a great job of making you think you’ve got it all figured out and then completely changing the script. The amount of times I gasped is uncountable. I cannot wait for more!

The sequel we never knew we needed!
This book is a total rollercoaster of a ride. Just when I thought I had everything figured out I was hit with another building block of the story that had me going back to the drawing board over and over again. I would have never have dreamed of the way it ended. Everything tied in so nicely. Every little detail was thought of and no stone was left unturned. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has a love for reading, crime, thrillers, or legal thrillers.

I was one of the lucky people to get an advance copy. This is definitely the best book so far that Jeneva Rose has written. Usually the 2nd book of a series is not as good as the first but this one is one of the best books I have ever read!. I'm definitely Team Sarah and can't wait to see what she is up to in the next book. There was plenty of plot twists that you don't see coming. I definitely recommend you read this book!

Book Review for the long waited sequel to The Perfect Marriage. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ million stars! Jeneva Rose did not disappoint with this one. Each chapter kept you guessing and wanting more and more, trying to figure out what is going to happen next. Usually sequels are a hit-or-miss, but Jeneva hit this one out of the park! I’m truly blessed to have been able to read this early by receiving an ARC from her team. I cannot wait to have the special edition of The Perfect Divorce on my bookshelf on 4/15
