I was pleasantly surprised. I got really invested in all the twist and turns. Overall, I really enjoyed it. I would recommend. There is a lot going on in this book.

Holy TWIST!!!!
This book had me enraptured especially after the first few chapters. We follow multiple different point of views between Alice, Tasha, Jeanette and then we meet Bonnie. During this we’re following what I thought was a good of murder mystery but seeing the murderers point of view as well! This was very cleverly done and I didn’t even find out who the actual murderer was till close to the end of the book and it was good!!!
How far would you go to protect your family?
*I received a free ARC from NetGalley*

This book was a wild ride with great twists and turns. I couldn't put it down. the characters were great and the plot twists were well written.

Well now I didn’t see that ending coming as it did. Mid book I thought I had everything figured out. Turns out I had it partially figured out.
The who did it factor was really good. I had a couple of ideas on who it could be but how it all unraveled was great. I am definitely recommending this book to people.
Thank you NetGalley for this copy. It was a great one.

A great thriller/mystery. This book was engaging from the beginning and kept you guessing. I did start to suspect the killer about halfway through, but wasn’t sure until near the reveal. There were many other twists I didn’t see coming.

The Wrong Sister is a twist-filled psychological thriller that keeps you guessing right up to the final page. The ending completely took me by surprise.

Enjoyable read. The beginning was a bit slow, but once I got into the book, it picked up. I wasn’t sure where it was going to go, so I appreciated the twists and turns.

Two sisters decide to do a house swap for a week. It starts out fun and then it becomes deadly when one sister is violently attacked and her husband is killed. As the sisters try to find out who would do such a thing and why, secrets come to the fore. One sister is not being truthful about everything that she knows. The story line becomes even more thrilling when the sisters discover that their baby sister who was kidnapped years prior may still be alive and nearer than they think. The premise of the story really interested me. I thought that the author did a good job with character development. There are a lot of twists and turns in the book that I didn't see coming. There are a few slow moments, but it picks back up to be captivating. I enjoyed it.

Tasha and her sister Alice have decided to do an mini "life swap" where Alice will come stay at Tasha's house in the UK to watch Tasha's toddler twins and Tasha will stay at Alice's vacation home in Italy. When Alice and her husband are brutally attacked, Tasha and her husband immediately head home where she receives a chilling note that reads: It was supposed to be you.
Wow, what a ride The Wrong Sister is. I finished it in a sitting because I so badly wanted to know whodunnit and boy were there twists and red herrings along the way. A compelling thriller that will keep you guessing until the very last chapter. 4.25 stars.
I received this advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A fast, enthralling domestic thriller that had me on the edge of my seat! "The Wrong Sister" by Claire Douglas is a well written mystery that has an intriguing plot, dubious characters, and just enough twists that I stayed hooked. I found this to be a quick read with manageable chapters that alternated between a few major characters. Normally, I am not a big fan of multiple perspectives in a book (it can be difficult to keep track of who is talking and what is going on!) but "The Wrong Sister" was surprisingly easy to differentiate between character perspectives.
An original storyline that kept me wanting more, I cannot recommend "The Wrong Sister" enough! I can't wait to read more Claire Douglas in the future.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Fast paced book. Twisty and turny.
Two sisters living completely opposite lives swap for a little vacation. So who was supposed to be attacked? Family secrets.
I enjoyed this. I am interested in picking up more Claire Douglas books for sure now.
Thank you Netgalley for the ARC! Publication date for this book is August 5th.

The Wrong Sister is the first book I’ve read by Claire Douglas and I have to say that she writes a solid family drama with twisty tuns. Everyone has a motive and the hidden secrets are so well crafted in this story, things are not what they seem in a shocking way. This story also explores what lengths people would go to for the ones they love or in some cases, the ones they despise. Lies told with what people think are “good intentions” have consequences. Family drama indeed!
The characters are engaging and flawed with interesting reactions to escalating events, even the ones they are working hard to down play which makes some of them believable in the eyes of their family members. After-all, no one wants to think the worse of someone they love. As the events escalate and unfold, the story has you racing to the end to find out the conclusion.
When I was starting to put the pieces of the mystery together, I have to admit I was blind-sided by the ending. Especially by a character I was hoping would make the right decision regarding a family member.

Tasha is raising her twin daughters with her husband, Aaron, in her hometown. Her sister, Alice, is a high-profile scientist who lives in a mansion with her husband, Kyle. Although the sisters couldn’t be more dissimilar, Tasha and Alice know that they can trust each other with their lives. In order to help Tasha re-ignite the spark in her marriage, Alice offers Tasha a week in her villa in Italy, while her and Kyle will remain in Tasha and Aaron’s home and watch their children. After two days in Italy, Tasha and Aaron are called home after tragedy strikes- Kyle and Alice are attacked in their home, and Kyle is dead. With her sister in intensive care, Tasha receives a letter through the mail that states, “It should’ve been you”. Was Tasha the intended target? And if so, who wants to kill her?
“The Wrong Sister” is the new novel by U.K author Claire Douglas. Full of intrigue, mystery and page-turning family drama, “Sister” has readers questioning how well we really know our family? And how far will we go to protect them?
“Sister” is primarily narrated by Tasha and her mother, Jeanette, although Alice narrates one of the final chapters and a young woman named Bonnie, whose relationship is kept secret until the end of the novel (although I figured out the essential bits), narrates a few sporadic chapters here and there as well. There are an intriguing number of twists and turns in this novel and just when I thought I had it figured out, Douglas hit me with another twist, and I was once again left guessing. I love when authors in this genre are still able to surprise me, and Douglas is the perfect example.
There are some complex relationships in this novel, so it’s necessary to pay attention throughout. I got lost a few times at the beginning, trying to connect the dots, but it didn’t take long until I was fully immersed in the story and easily following along with the plot.
The ending was satisfying and unexpected, and the final pages left an indelible mark. To avoid spoilers, I won’t go into detail but I will say that, after all of the turbulent drama caused by one seemingly innocuous secret, Tasha’s actions at the end caught me off-guard, although they still managed to be reasonable and believable. I didn’t want to support Tasha’s choice but it made perfect sense by the end.
Douglas’ “The Wrong Sister” is a fascinating story of family, sisterhood, and the lengths we will go to keep those we love safe and I highly recommend this gripping read.

A mindblowing, thrilling, couldn't stop reading, roller coaster ride I devoured in one day. I can't wait to read more by Claire Douglas, she is a literally mastermind!

WHAT I LOVED - They mystery within a mystery. Who is the killer, who is the other sister? Are they the same person?
WHAT I LIKED - The backstory of the missing sister.
WHAT I DISLIKED - I had a couple of unanswered questions, but not crucial to the story.
WOULD I RECOMMEND? Yes. This was a quick read with enough twists to stay interested.
Thank you, NetGalley and Harper Perennial and Paperbacks, for this eARC for review. All opinions are my own.

Thank you for letting me read this book. I was disappointed in that I had expected to become involved in the characters and care about their difficulties. I did not find that to be the case. I will not be blogging about this book because another person may react entirely differently, and I don’t want to take away their pleasure.

THE WRONG SISTER is a fast paced thriller that kept me guessing until the very end. There were several twists throughout, which I really enjoyed. I've been reading Claire Douglas' books for a long time now and she's definitely one of my go to authors.
Many thanks to Harper Perennial and NetGalley for my gifted ARC.

This story involves a lot of different characters. The main one is trying to reconnect with her husband after having twins and her sister who is successful. The nightmare that unfolds for Tasha is mind blowing. There is so much to unpack but the author does a fantastic job bringing all the pieces together to complete the puzzle. Great book!
Thank you to netgalley and the author for the opportunity to read an early release.

Twin sisters swap lives.....What could possibly go wrong? Enter the thrills, chills, mystery and suspense. A new to me author, I was entertained eventhough it was a little predictable.
